Hi Everyone,

I managed a workout again today. It really helps the brain to exercise - more than anything else. I read a book on habits and it stated that research shows that exercise is the single most powerful activity that changes your life for the better. Apparently people who exercise regularly even spend less on their credit cards! whoa!

Today I did 45 minutes of Cardio Leg Blast. That's a toughie.

Henriette - you are so inspiring. I want to walk like you do and find time to read books again. wow. you really are doing it all.

Thanks for getting us started Siobahn. I missed yesterday's check-in...busy day! I love Cardio Leg blast. It might just be one of my favorites. But there are MANY favorites.

Yesterday I did Pyramid Lower Body. I was getting mad because I had my barbell plates ready to go but jeeez...Cathe and crew change them so fast I constantly missed 3-4 reps! It's still a great workout as my glutes are feeling it. Today I did Athletic step. Simple and solid.

Henriette I commend you for walking so much while feeling ill. I usually just want my bed or the couch! Good for you.

Annette, I love that you have the age range of class participants that you do. I hope I can be like that!

Missy, Elsie and Linda I hope you're all doing ok. Chime in when you can.
 
Hi gals,

Today I taught my All Kickbox workout to 9 ladies for about 51 minutes. Then I did about 30 minutes of weights , since my son was with me to spot I did barbell chest press, then I did a superset of standing lat pull downs wide arms and under hand close grip. Then I did abs and floorwork legs.

Now I am done.

I got bored at home yesterday with nobody to talk to,[emoji55].

Ok, I ended up moving a very heavy desk out of our SUV, up the steps into the house after stepping into the space between the porch and the door frame and landing on my bum[emoji44] and hurting my shoulder yet again. After a minute or 2 I was able to get my foot out of the hole and get the desk inside the house. (All this is with the help of my youngest son). After a breather and some engineering to figure out how to get it up the stairs, with the help of blankets and towels we managed to get it up the stairs without damaging anything.

Then we got it into son's room and put the legs back on and maneuvered it into the location he wanted it.

My legs now hurt and my shoulder may really hurt tomorrow[emoji44]!!

I am not made for moving furniture.

Hi ladies,

Late with my Wednesday check in.

Siobhan - thank you for calling me inspiring when I feel far from it. I feel like one of these days I may just accidentally or purposely drop some of all these balls I am trying to keep up. I get a lot of walking done as my personal rule is any destination within 2 km, I can walk to, and of course the days I am at home with Mick he sleeps 4 times a day between getting out of bed and back to bed, so that's 4 walks. My reading is mainly multitasking... bottle time, on my commute etc. If I am lucky I manage 15min of me time right before bed where I choose to read especially if my book is good. Netflix and crocheting is very rare these days :-(

Wednesday I worked from home half a day and fortunately Mick napped for 3 out of the 4 hours so it was very doable. Then I did 3 loads of laundry and took Mick for his vaccinations. When we got home I thought I had enough time for Bulk Legs before I had to drive the boys to basketball but I ran out of time and had to finish when I got back. I wanted to get a workout in before evening when I start to feel even more sick. So in the evening it was just another work. Just over 16,000 steps in total, so another active day.

Unfortunately Mick was up from 3am onwards during the night, as if he had nightmares from the injections and was reliving them every half hour. So only 5 hours of sleep for me and now off to the office like a zombie. Hopefully Mick will be okay at the daycare... if not they will call and I will have to go and collect him.

Annette - sorry about all your bad luck with moving furniture.
