Hello everyone,

Feel so accomplished today. Already crossed off 5 items on my to-do list for today. AND I did my workout. I did a 6K fartlek on my treadmill. Using Imax3 as my lead. I ran 8K during the side steps, 8.5K during the intervals and 10K/hour at the blasts!! Absolutely terrific run. And it is so great to hear Cathe say things like "stay strong, stay focussed" when you're huffing and puffing :) "I know you can do it", "I'm right there with you".

Actually watching/listening to a Cathe w/o when running on the TM is quite motivating.

Well, got lots more things on my list for today so I'll be off.

Good morning Dutchie and everyone to follow....

Yesterday was PUB and I added on 300 crunches, 100 standard, and 100 to each side.

Today is another cardio day, still trying to play catch up from the weekend. I think I'll try an interval. I've been advised not to do high intensity due to my hemoglobin for now, but I am going to try one of the IMAX's and only 5 intervals. I'll see how I feel. I didn't have any problems doing this before I found out about my hemoglobin, the only thing I noticed was that I wasn't recovering very well.

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

Today is supposed to be my lower body day combined with a run. It is way too hot, sticky and rainy here, so no run today.

Instead I'm planning Meaner Legs and BC W/U, BC cardio only and KM BC Blast Challenge.

Dutchie: Awesome workout!!!! That sounds so great! Isn't it amazing how a great workout can energize you for the whole day?

Jane: 5 intervals of any of the IMaxes are a great workout. They are tough workouts. I still can't decided which one is the hardest....it always seems to be the one I am doing at the moment!

My son starts 2nd grade today, and the other one has Kindergarten orientation so my morning is pretty well a wash. I don't have enough time now to w/o so I have to wait till this afternoon.
I will be doing Cardio/Freestyle leg work/ and Upper body and abs from MIS.

Good morning everybody! :)

I am so happy this morning, I got to workout for the first time in a week, yeah :D !
I did Basic Step :eek: and that was probably the hardest workout I could do today x( , it wasn't too easy at all, but I am still lacking a lot of energy so that's probably why. I was just thinking, wow that is wild I just did 2 weeks of Cathe's August rotation a week ago and now Basic step is wearing me out ;-) ???

Oh well, I'll be back in the high intensity workouts in no time }( !!!

Jane - I need to start up doing these crunches again, I love working my abs

I am off to the grocery store. My kids have been out of school because of the storm, and eating everything in sight! Why is it because you have to cook something, they tell me there is no food in the house!?

Good morning everyone:

I was on the treadmill this morning for 30 minutes and plan on Low Max and Core Max after work. Got to get my son ready for 3rd grade tonight: lay out clothes (that match ;-) ), backpack, know what's for breakfast, etc. Gotta love the beginning of school. :)

Hi good morning everyone, yesterday I did L&G,two TAEBO basic live workouts and the first segment of CM. Today is Cardio P90X, legs and back P90X and ab ripper. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Ladies.

Yesterday I ended up doing a mish-mosh of extra leg work from L&G and PLB and then Cardio Kicks. I said I was going to complete CK, but again I did not! x( I was just wasn't feelin' it so about 15 mins into the cardio section I skipped over to the drills and did them instead. I guess that's okay though because the last time I did it I stopped after the cardio so it kinda works, right? :p

Today: circuit, extra cardio & abs

Dutchie: Great work out but I must admit, the term "FARTlek" made me giggle. :+ Never heard that word before!

Jane: Have fun with IMAX and I hope you make it through with flying colors!

Kali: Gosh, one son starting second grade and one going to kindergarten orientation. What a BIG day for those little guys, huh? So are you weepy about the little one going into kindergarten?

Tammy: Meaner Legs...You go girl! }(

Kristine: You'll be back to your w/o's full force soon enough. Glad you are listening to your body and taking it slow though.

Becky: I just did BC on Monday!!! I salute you!

Conni: Finishing the August rotation is AWESOME!!!

Sandra: I guess finding the time is more difficult with a newborn than pregnant but it's definately harder on the bod when pregnant! Sometimes it was all I had to get that big old belly to move! LOL

Morning ladies.

Yesterday I did 200 walking lunges and 200 sit ups. Then last night I did Imax 3 and I gotta tell ya, those plie jacks are getting EASIER! I made it all the way through them last night and my quads weren't screaming.

Today on the schedule is The Gauntlet and the blast from Kickmax, but to be honest, I'm really not feeling very well. I feel kinda pukey and I'm alternating hot and freezing cold, so we'll see how I feel later.

Good Morning Fit Women,

Well gotta type fast...power went out earlier when I was here and the way my day is going...never know if the ceiling will fall on my head. Read the PMS Patrol for more info. LOL

Yesterday was KPC earlier in the day. Legs and Glute later. 100 sit ups/crunches (combo) and then bicep curls 12 times.

Today is my workout rest day, but I will be painting today.

Morning ladies. I decided to kick it up a notch this morning so I did SB on an 8" step rather than a 6". I forgot how much more difficult it is on the higher level. I am sweating buckets, however my shins are killing me. Does anyone else have problems with their shins from doing step aerobics?

Kristine - I'm so glad you're feeling better! It is amazing what too many rest days can do to your endurance but you'll pick it back up very quickly!!

Conni - Congrats on finishing the August rotation! I haven't even attempted it - I may try it in October.

This morning was Muscle Endurance and if I have time tonight, I'll squeeze in a 20-minute run.

Foodie Sue...Great job with the killer August rotation...you shuld be tired!

Sandra...sounds like you had a great workout yesterday. So cute your DD joined you and had some dance moves she named!! In MSB I never really watched the for the other outfits, I usually just FastForwarded. It's funny how the lace shorts seemed so cute then....not so cute now!!

Dutchie...you had a great morning getting things done! Sounds like a fun farlek to Imax3! Very creative!

Jane...sounds like a good workout. Take it easy during those blasts...

Kali...time for the little ones to get back to school. You can definitely put your workout off today!

Tammy...I did Meaner Legs over the weekend. Not quite as mean when modified to Freestyle!

Well those back to back P90X upper body workouts Mon and Tues wore me out!!...wow...:)...today I will tackle High Step Challenge and maybe add the floorwork from PS legs.

I haven't been posting on the daily check in but have been reading! I am discouraged with my heel and its need for rest time to heal. Doing only spinning for my cardio is not the variety I prefer, but I must stick to it. I did Body Max Power circuit segment twice on Saturday to see how it felt and although I finished it with all high intensity, I was in great pain at the end and for the next two days. It was not a smart idea.

I tried a pilates class on Monday, It was OK. But I wanted to feel some DOMS afterwards and didn't. The feedback from the instructor reguarding technique was helpful though, and I did get some "good job" comments too.In the past, I have tried the Winsor Advanced Pilates with the blue cover and didn't feel challenged either.

Dutchie- IMAX3 on the treadmill is a favorite of mine . I look forward to doing it again some day.

Connie- Great accomplishment on the Aug Rotation!


Charlotte - have a great (active) rest day:D :D

Wendy- FARTLECK is a runniing workout term. It conjures up different thoughts though:eek: :eek:

Shelly- I see you were up late last night and this am. As was I. It will catch up with us later.... x(


Carole- I am still trying to incorporate freestyle type legs into my routine, sans impact.

This Morning I did P90X Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, the ab ripper X and Imax 3 intervals 1-5.

Morning Everyone,

Today I have KPC on my rotation. Yesterday I was doing Leaner Legs and the sweat was pouring into my eyes. Couldn't keep my eyes open on the last set of calf raises. x( It always amazes me how tough that work out is. After that I took a easy 3 mile run on the treadmill.

Got an e-mail from Beachbody that my Turbo Jam was shipped yesterday. Can't wait to get those either.
