Gooooood morning everyone,

It's a gorgeous day overhere.

Was up early to bake scones. Special breakfast request from son no. 2 because it's his birthday :D :) He'll have a special lunch too and he wanted hot dogs and hamburgers from the BBQ for dinner, and ice cream for dessert. He's celebrating his birthday with his friends this afternoon. So instead of a birthday cake he wanted me to make him and his friends hedge hogs.

I did a 5K run yesterday and a 7K run today.

Have cut back on the strength training cause I'm just too busy to workout for more then an hour (or it's too darn hot). I'm loosing weight though, that wouldn't be muscle mass, now would it?

On my rotation today is MIC.....don't know if I'm quite up to that, any suggestions for a fill in that's not asking quite so much out of me??

I'm super busy getting ready for my move this weekened plus work and so its been difficult trying to squeeze full workouts in.

Last night: Chest work (Gym Style) plus 30 minutes HIIT.

Tonight:powerMax on schedule.

Happy birthday to your son Dutchie. I too am curious what a hedgehog is. Of course, I know it is an animial, but I don't think you are using it in that context.

Great workout Cathy. Good luck on your move. I haven't moved in 17 years and I intend to keep it that way. LOL....

Last evening I did ME for the first time, I really liked it. My glutes are sore this morning. Must be those "halfway ups, halfway ups" that got me!!! Hamstrings not so bad which is surprising because those dead lifts get me every time.

I reconsidered ending my workup there and put together a little stepping from the BodyBlast TimeSaver using the Workout Blender. I did 40 minutes of step with a stretch. The two step segments I put together were from SJP and SB. I like those power jigs!! The TimeSaver is the only thing I have from the BB series. Maybe one of these days I can get more. **sign** I afraid I am **Cathe poor** right now.;)


ETA - I think I'll try LowMax today. I received it a couple of days ago. I can't wait. Everybody seems to love this w/o.


Tammy - sorry you can't run. Maybe the weather will break later today for a run. You are right though, running does wonderful things to the body. Keep it up!!!

KickMax is on tap for today - happy, happy, joy, joy - NOT! Anyway, I missed yesterdays run due to an unscheduled rest day so I was going to do it today, but alas it is raining here and I am a fair weather runner - tsk, tsk.

Although I have only a handful of runs under my belt, I have seen changes in my body all ready. I think I'm going to try to run 3-5 times per week.

Happy birthday to Dutchie Jr!

Becky: Go For It!!!! MIC is a blast. You will definitely feel worked out after that one!

It's an Australian recipie: biscuits, icing sugar, cocoa, egg, coconut, and butter. No baking necessary. As a chocoholic, I add dark chocolate to it.

I am sore today! DOMS from Boot Camp! OUCH! I love it! lol
I guess I will have to take it easy today with a cardio only work out today...I'll pick my poison at the last minute. I'll probably work out in a half hour or so I guess.

Dutchie-Have fun making those hedge hogs! Tell your son Happy Birthday for me!

Becky-I hear MIC is a rough one. I don't have it but I plan to purchase it one day!

How are you ladies doing today? I am wondering what to have to bkf this morning. This is a early wake up for me. I have GSBSB,LG floor legs,and PSlegs floor.Will also get some abs in there. I need to get these started or I get lazier the longer the day goes by.

I just got done w/ Step Blast & Triceps&Biceps. I was supposed to do Tri's&Bi's last night but we got the boys new bikes and had to go show the family being they only live a street away. It was fun tho and I did push both bikes home up our hill.:D

Dutchie-Those Hedgehogs sound great! I love breakfast requests from my sons. Happy B-day to yours!

Becky- You can do anything you put your mind to.

Cathy- Good luck w/ your move. Don't forget you are still burning calories.:7

Jane-LowMax is awesome. I think it's my favorite thus far.

Tammy-I feel the same way about L&G's. Don't think I'll ever even buy Kick Max. KPC is bad enough for me.

Just another quick checkin.....thanks for all your encouragement. I did the step only from MIC and coremax#1.
I am not a big hi-lo fan, but mostly just didn't feel very energetic...am having dental problems and go tomorrow morning for a root canal.
I'm guessing tomorrow will be a rest day, not neccesarily chosen but probably needed.
Your hedgehogs sound wonderful Dutchie, and yes, I'd add the chocolate too!!!:9 YUM!!

Today will be ME, a run and of course softball. No rain in the forecast, but I wish it would rain, we are heading for drought conditions here.

Yesterday my MIL tripped at the dentist office and broke her shoulder right under the joint. She will be going in for surgery today. This is going to be very tough on her, she is like 4'8 and 100 pounds soaking wet! My FIL will be no help, because he had a stroke about 12 years ago and can't move the right side of his body! I'm thinking of sending my 12 year old over to help her gp's out a couple of days during the week. At least she will be able to cheer them up.

Today was PUB.

It is a very pretty day here. I have to wash my car. I cleaned the inside yesterday, but I didn't do the outside. I thought it was going to rain. I was wrong.

Carla - I did PUB last night for the first time and I LOVE IT! I realized I need heavier dumbells to get a better workout so it's off to the sporting goods store AGAIN today!

Dutchie - Hedgehogs sound delicious! My youngest daughter turned 13 on Sunday. They grow up waaay too quickly.

Cathy - Good luck on the move!

Jane - ME is my favorite weight workout. I love power jigs, too! I think you will really like Low Max. It's a very effective w/out.

Tammy - I plan on doing Kick Max tonight. Come on, we'll suffer through it together!

Wendy - I haven't done BC in awhile - it always kicks my bootie. I wish I had DOMS today. :-(

Kali - you definitely got a workout with your tris/bis pushing bikes up a hill!

Laurie - I'm sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope she comes through surgery well.

Kim - I always find my day is more productive if I finish my workout early. Doesn't always happen, though!! I'm not much of a morning person. I missed my workout this morning so I have to play catch-up tonight with Kick Max!

My knees and legs aren't sore from my run yesterday so it'll be another early morning run tomorrow.

I see a lot of great workouts going on, I did L&G and the ab ripper.
I am not using as much weight with legs and glutes because they are already very muscular, in fact I want to make them leaner and not bigger.

I got to go work now, I wish you all a joyous day!
 
Good morning everyone! So many great workouts going on! And those hedgehogs sound delicious! Chocolate and coconut - you can't go wrong with those two ingredients! :)

This morning I did PUB and my upper body is pretty much toast now. It's a great feeling! :p There's nothing more satisfying than finishing a great upper body workout, then trying to take a shower and being unable to hold your arms up long enough to properly shampoo your hair. ;) Yes, I'll be feeling this tomorrow for sure!

Hello Everyone-Well yesterday I did do my run on the treadmill and I really enjoyed it. I had some great music on my ipod and just went for it. I ran about an hour but then the phone rang otherwise I would have kept going! My office is in my home so I had to take the call. Later in the day I did gym style legs. Today i am planning another run and then push/pull or power hour.

Wendy-You are doing so good with your workouts since having Joey. You are a great motivater! When I feel like I can't fit something in I see your post and say WELL no excuses now:)

To everyone else-I love to see what you all are doing for the day as it gives me good ideas for my workouts! Have a great day!

Good morning ladies

Didn't get to post yesterday as we were out of power due to some PG&E work til about 3:30. Then my DH and I went to see the remake of "The Longest Yard"...great movie, if you like football and saw the first one as many times as I did!!!

Laurie....I am so sorry about your MIL...:(.. you two had a very special friendship, I have often been envious. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dutchie...sometimes its good for the body to have a break from strength training, I bet you are not loosing muscle. Happy 13th B-Day to your son!!!

Jane...wow....awesome workout. I'm glad you are feeling better!! Most of us here...are Cathe poor!

Laurie Mac...wow! Sorry about your MIL. I hope she heals quickly...having your daughter to cheer them up is good..

Alot of great workouts today!

I got my new SS/PP DVD so I'll do one of the lower body premixes incorporating the freestyle approach. Then some abs, a 5 mile run and Chest & Back....it is supposed to be 91 here today.....:)...Carole
