Daily Check in Wed July 5

Good Morning.

I did a 71 minute kickbox circuit mish mosh last night. It was a good work out! No DOMS though. :-(

Today is gym day for a run...hopefully 3-4 miles.

Phyllis, Chest DOMS-NICE! Here's hoping you have DOMS in your bi's and tri's on Friday!}(

Phyllis - Nice...DOMS in the chest is definitely a good thing!

Wendy - Enjoy the run. I wish I could do that...I can go for two hours straight doing step but can't run more than 15 to 20 minutes. What's up with that?

I fizzled in the heat and humidity yesterday at work so I didn't have enough in the tank to tackle IMAX 1 last night. At least I rode and jumped a bunch of horses and ponies so I hope that makes up for it. Today, I did IMAX 3 (one of my favs) while I waited for the rain pass this morning. I'll try to hit Coremax tonight. Well, I'm off to work. Everyone have a good day and good workouts to all that follow.

This morning I did GS back, shoulders, and biceps followed by Christi Taylor's Stepsational.

After work DH and I will do yoga (unless I can convince him to go running)

Tuesday - Franny's Cardio Parties Step workout with abs.
Today - PLB and abs from Bodymax.

Wendy, I saw your kickbox mish-mosh....all I can say is YIKES!!! I can't believe you don't have DOMS after that! Kickbox is not my thing but.....how are you at making up step mish-moshes???:D
I am always looking for new step workouts.

This morning I started Cathe's July rotation. Now let's see if I actually stick with it !!!
Today was SJP and I rarely do that one from start to finish due to the hi-lo, but I did today and WOW, what a sweatfest ! I wasn't sure for a while there that I would finish, but I hung in and made it to the end!:p :eek: Talk about a complete, head to toe workout!

Just think.....it's already HUMP DAY!!!! yay!!

Hi all,

Wendy:I'll have to check out your Kickbox mish-mosh.

Yesterday was a rest day. I have a hard time working out in the morning when I work the night before. I am doing more nights this summer than I usually do.

This morning I did KPC. Had difficulty with the pikes. I was so sweaty I kept sliding off my ball. :eek:

Good morning all -

Today is mostly a rest day. I did Coremax, segment 1 and I might go for a nice leisurely walk later, but no major workout planned. Surprisingly enough, my hip isn't bothering me at all today. I was expecting it to after my run, but I'll just play it safe and keep it quiet today. I've got upper body planned for tomorrow.
 
I did Boot Camp today. The all but core premix followed by the core only premix. This is the first time I did this workout and I like it a lot. It was a ton of fun. Except for the terminators. Those are insane.

Hey gals...back from the gym. I got in a 3 mile run. I'm happy with that. I'll shoot for a 4 miler next week.

Wendi: When I first started running (on a treadmill) back in March I had ZERO endurance for it. I had to start out slowly only running only a few minutes at a clip and now just recently ran 4 miles w/o stopping. I am also working on my outdoor running which is MUCH harder for me. I finally ran 2 miles a couple of weeks ago with a minute rest halfway through. That was tougher for me than the 4 miles on the TM! It takes time and consistency to build up endurance for running. If you stick with it, you'll be able to do it!:)

Becky: I guess my body recalled the kb mish mosh I did a few weeks ago and realized that yesterday's wasn't so bad! LOL You should try the original mish mosh I did and just put step in place of the kick boxing!}(

Hi all,

I did Billy's Fat Blasting Cardio today with weighted gloves and ankle weights then did abs from All Step and LL to finish up.

Just did a great nonstop 30 min run on the treadmill. Surprisingly I don't have any DOMS from last night. I did do 8 dumbell curls, then 5 hammer curls with 15#ers!!! And I did 10# on the military presses instead of 8#. Am quite proud of myself!
I used to only be able to curl 2# and couldn't even lift that much for presses when I first started.
I also hope to do more Namaste yoga tonight!
