Cathlete
Finally I start the Feb rotation today. I'm kicking it off with DrillMax!

DS was hurting more yesterday afternoon/evening than he was earlier in the day. I can tell his patience is wearing thin with this but it hasn't even been a week yet. He wants to be better "NOW". He is moving around pretty well in his brace.

Have a good one!

I just knew that Jane and I would post at the same time. I default to hers.

Thanks for all the wishes ladies! They worked! I got a good nights sleep AND my wo was much better(warmer) today. It's not quite as cold as yesterday. I think its around 18 in addtion to the fact that I pushed up the thermostat a little bit. So, SJP was enjoyable! I hope everyone else enjoys their wo today.

Good Morning!

Jane, Have fun with DrillMax!}( I was supposed to do a cardio premix from DM y'day but it didn't work out. :-( I'm sure it's hard for your son to be patient. Is he a "get up and go" type of personality? Isn't one for sitting still for long? If so, I can certainly see why he'd be so impatient to get better. Poor thing. He needs to remember that if he pushes too hard he's likely to slow down his progress as opposed to pushing it forward like he wants. :-(

Phyllis, Glad you had a better sleep and a better work out.

My plan for today is a short run on the TM after my shift at work and then home for back and biceps!

I have DOMS in my L/B from the B&G LB premix y'day. YOWZAS!!!}( }( }(

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

BM#2 for me today.

Jane: I think we can all understand your son's frustrations. Hopefully each day will be a little better for him.

Phyllis: I'm glad you slept better and enjoyed your SJP workout. I slept pretty well last nite too:7

Tig: B/B is my 2nd favorite 90X UB....have fun!

Becky: Did you warm up yesterday?

Conni: What day of the rotation are you on?

Annette: Way to bring it to the PS series.

Heather: I did indeed enjoy Meaner Legs....that workout is quick and to the point!

Good morning Gorgeous Girls!;-)

Tammy, I did warm up yesterday but then it snowed 8" and we had to go out with the snowblower and it didnt take long at 11 degrees to get cold all over again!!!

Jane, can you share a little bit of your heatwave with us???

Today I think I'm going to try the cardio & upperbody premix from DM. :p Yesterday was a 45 min. TM interval walk.

Have a good one ladies!

Good morning everyone,

Hi Tammy - I am on the last day of week one today.

I did DM today, at first I wasn't sure if my legs were going to get into it, this week on the rotation has been hard on the legs, imo. But I got going pretty well with it. It never blows me away like some of Cathe's workouts but it gets me enough to feel the burn!

Hey Becky, are you near Cincy? I heard they were just crippled with the snow down there. Being north in frigid Cleveland - Akron area, I feel your pain!

Have a good day!

Yes, Connie, I'm about 30 miles north of Cincy and we did get dumped on bigtime!!
DD was off school yesterday & is again today. She's a happy camper.

I just did cardio and upperbody weight premix from DM (my first time using that workout). I had to modify quite a bit but I liked it.
But.............STABILITY BALL PUSHUPS???????
I didn't even try them. Does anyone do them??? yikes! Maybe someday!:p

I'm staying inside today & making a big pot of healthy soup!!
Yes, I'm a wimp! I'm ready for summer!!!!:7

Hi Becky,

My DS was suffering today because he finally had school. They have been closed up here for two days due to the horrendous cold. I am glad though, that I don't have to clear the driveway in this weather. I feel your pain!

I did DM today also. I started out by putting my ball up against the sofa and then doing the pushups, pretty soon you will be able to do them on your own, it really is more of a stabilizing move than a push up issue imo.

Thanks Tammy, if I don't do it the way "I" want to do it then I wouldn't have done it at all, so mixing things up helps me alot.

I did the 37 min. premix off of KPC today, wanted to do more but the kids were bothering me and I was later getting started so I stopped at that premix.

Have a great day, we got more snow last night, only about an inch but it is still pretty.:7 :D

Wendy... he is definitely a "get up and go" person. He always has something going on, some project. He has about 15 acres of land and when he isn't at work, he is on his tractor or building something or working on something. He is in constant motion. A stark contrast than when he was a teenager and you had to check to see if he was breathing half the time!! HA!!

I just talked to him and he has been outside twice today. It is 61 degrees here!!! He said he had to get out of the house into the sunshine. Can't blame him. He said he has done well today.

Off to get DrillMax done!

Daily Check-in

This was a wonderful day! It started with Maximum Intensity Cardio. I cannot believe I avoided this cardio workout for so long. I am not wild about dated workouts in general, but I had a blast with this one. It is a fun workout even though the choreography is not dancy at all. Cathe starts out with a warm-up and a low impact combination that is nothing to write home about. I was not sure I would like this workout after the first few minutes. The music during the first half of the hi-lo is not the best. I liked the medium impact segment okay. What hooked me was the boxer’s shuffle segment. I did that on my rebounder and had such a good time! I could not stop smiling. What a high! The music picked up too. Fun, fun, fun! I was higher than a kite and feeling no pain by the end of that song. This is definitely good old-fashioned high impact aerobics that reminds me of my high school days. I am a hi-lo lover and an intensity junkie, so this workout satisfied me on both counts. I prefer the hi-lo in Step, Jump, & Pump, but I like this workout too. It makes me feel so good! The step segment of this workout is the best part with better music. I enjoyed the rock press off the side and the sashays. I was flying across the step during the second combination because I was too energized to feel the fatigue. The super intense step blast segment at the end left me drenched in sweat and begging for mercy. I was jumping up and down on the inside, but my body was tired and ready for a nap after it was over. My legs felt like noodles, and I was tripping all over myself when I tried to do grapevines during the cool-down. Speaking of the cool-down, what a great song! The soothing stretch felt so good. I still feel good tonight. Glory!

I stepped outside this morning feeling energized from my workout and was delighted by the beautiful weather that greeted me. The weather was even nicer later in the day.

I went to the club after work and jogged in the pool. I do not know where Rebecca has been. I hope she is not still under the weather. She has not been answering her cell phone, and her mailbox is full. I miss my workout friend.

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. I need to bless my body with enough restful sleep tonight to recharge for Boot Camp. I hope I do not regret attempting it the morning after such an intense cardio workout. I can do anything for a minute. Yes, I can! I got more sleep last night and expect to sleep like a baby tonight. Between Maximum Intensity Cardio this morning and a refreshing water jogging workout tonight, I am tired and ready to call it a day.

Blessings,
Heather B.
