Annette, DS is interested in 3 larger schools. One of them recently eliminated mens tennis(Rutgers), one is #30 in the country so he wouldn't see much court time(The College of New Jersey), and the last one is big enough so he would not get much court time either(Unv. of Delaware) I think he is resigned to playing in a tennis club or intermurals.

Tammy, why did you do BC premix and do the core after?

Becky, sounds like Amy B is a decent wo!

Conni, I think I'd like to try some of Tracey's stuff.

Heather, I'm jealous of your weather.

As for me, I took another rest day. I'm still fighting the residual from this head cold.

Good Morning !

Didn't fit in my walk before the rain started and when it came down, it came down HARD! Last night we went out when it finally stopped and with A LOT of work, got the remaining ice off the driveway!!!
Oh happy day!:D

Since I missed my walk, I did the other CC #1 (why are there two one's and two sixes ??) on my stationary bike. That was a POWERFUL bike ride!:eek: :7

I did the bike ride, the upper body workout and abs yesterday, so am thinking maybe a step workout today or yoga......don't really know what I feel like yet, but will report back after I decide.

Phyllis, I did enjoy the Amy B workouts and I've preordered Tracey's Sculptfest and Stepfest. I'm not even sure when they will be shipped but I can't wait! Hope you feel better soon.

Today was L & G, that workout just flies by. I also did Coremax 1.

I can't wait to get my new Tracey DVDs, hopefully they will ship soon!

Phyllis - I hope you have a quick recovery!

Becky - It is almost 40 degrees here already, the snow is dripping away!!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I'm sick :(. I woke up this morning at 6:15 and my body said "sorry babe...no way!". I stayed in bed and just woke up. My body feels as if it were hit by a dump truck. I have to go to work, but it will be back to bed when I get home.

Jane: I love LIC and yes, February IS flying by, which is a good thing if you live in the northeast :)

Tig: Work those biceps girl!

Phyllis: I do the everything but core premix first because for some reason going up and down for the core makes me dizzy. I hope you feel better soon!

Conni: Tracy Staehle looks good, I might try them too.

Annette: How are you feeling?

Heather: I'm a morning exercise girl too. It jump starts my day.

Janie: Awesome workout!

Kim: How's the rotation going?

Becky: There are two CC volume 1, 2 and 6. Volumes one and two were done over when they were released in Europe last year. Coach Sean redid them for that market and then offered them here. The good news was that if you had already purchased the original volumes one and two, he allowed you to download the new remixes for free :) (GOTTA LOVE THAT GUY!)

There are two sixes, because Candace's version came out first, and then Coach Sean did his take on it. I love them both.

Phyllis, my dh explained to me just how good you have to be to get a scholarship and even on a college tennis team. Evidently you have to be an excellent player, my dh said that during his one year playing intermural tennis he got his tail whopped by a guy who wasn't good enough to get a scholarship or on the college team and my dh was a pretty good player that played in high school. My dh said that he never once touched the ball, sigh,LOL!! At least where my son plays tennis they emphasize it as a sport of a lifetime.

Tammy I am feeling much better, still blowing my nose a lot and my nose is raw on the inside but I feel better and am able to workout this week.

I did Cardio Kicks today for my workout, for the power drills I put on my weighted gloves for some added intensity.

Jane, Good luck with LIC. I viewed that workout but haven't done it yet. It looks tough. Good for you.

Wendy, What is ARX? How was your workout?

Phyllis, Enjoy your rest days. Colds really drain ya, don't they? Stay warm and drink plenty of fluids. Feel better soon.

Annette, Cardio Kicks is a great workout. Glad to hear you are getting much better.

Today is my cardio day. I've done Power Max, that is an hour of step up. Will be doing a yoga or a P90X stretch, later today. Haven't decided which yet.

ARX is Ab Ripper X. My work out was great today, thanks! My hand was shaking while I was trying to write down my reps/weights during the w/o!}( }( }( I haven't done Power Max in AGES! Jeesh-between running and now the X there are TONS of Cathe work outs I need to get re-acquainted with somehow!:)
 
Hello ladies. I kind of have the check in sporadically because I have no internet service at the apartment and I've been so busy at work that I just can't seem to get here every day. :(

So... here are my workouts so far this week.

M - IMAX 2
T - All Step cardio, bicep and tricp weight work
Today - L&G, PH abs

I love L&G because I feel like a get a partial cardio workout too. My legs are going to be feeling it tomorrow.

Daily Check-in

After another convicting Bible study lesson this morning on obedience, I bounced on my rebounder then went to work. It was a stressful day. I desperately need a warm bubble bath tonight. On top of all the craziness at work, I had to deal with a flat tire during my lunch hour. I hate car trouble!

My evening was much better. I got fired up after reading the thread Cathe posted asking for input about the 2007 Cathe Road Trip. Actually, I am experiencing mixed emotions about this. I have been waiting for an announcement about this, so I am excited. I would love to meet Cathe and as many of my online fitness friends as possible, but I am also feeling a little insecure about this. I am not sure if I can get my butt in shape by then. It looks like I have a target date for conquering my deepest insecurities about my body. I would love to weigh 160 pounds or less by then, which would be 100 pounds below my top weight. I would still most likely be the heaviest person there at 160 pounds, but I would be flying high to finally have that major milestone to celebrate. If I continue to shed 2 pounds a week, this is a very realistic and healthy goal that would give me until New Year’s Eve to shed the last 30 pounds and reach my goal for the year.

I did 10*10*10 tonight followed by the Rhythmic Step Challenge. The CTX Series is a gem. I love 10*10*10. It is perfect for nights like this when I want a taste of everything and not too much of any one style of cardio. The hi-lo segment was the most fun, but I also enjoyed the staggered mambos on the step. What a great substitution for double ricochets!

I am all fired up now and need to take a warm bubble bath and start winding down for the night. Hopefully, morning workouts will be my reality in a few days.

By the way, y’all are welcome to take a road trip to Texas if you want to enjoy this beautiful weather. You can help me clear the clutter of my home!
