Blender- "All About # 2: Overhead Presses, Sweepers & Kickbacks" - 20 min.
IFit- Basic Mobility Elliptical workout # 6- 26 min.
Hydrow Circuit Training # 84- 10 min. Rowing & Weights EMOM

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did a mix of Charlie Follows yoga - 40 minutes and added in another 10 minutes of Hoco (it's short for horizontal conditioning - remember those dvd's? I still love them).

Nice workout this morning, Linda. A mix of weights and cardio.

I hope Thanksgiving plans are moving along for everyone. Nora and Anita - you have your work cut out for you today and tomorrow. My DH makes the Turkey too. I do the rest. And I didn't mean my DDs don't like to clean up after big dinners, I meant at all :(. I enable them by paying for someone to clean their apartment every two weeks. They love it (of course) and there is less arguing between them. It's how I cope.

I hope everyone gets in their workouts today.
 
Morning!

On tap for today is (was?) LIS — Low Impact Challenge. I woke up feeling a little tired, but nothing insurmountable. Went down to do the workout, took a little longer to warm up than usual — just thought I’d warm up and find my groove. Nope. It just went down hill from there. I got through the warmup and the first combo and a half and then just bonked. Shaky, confused, TIIIIIIRED, and my stomach was growling. So I’m eating a big protein breakfast of egg white omelette and a tiny bowl of oatmeal and trying to get myself right.

I don’t have any health conditions, I’ve been checked for literally everything and I’m perfectly healthy, no worries. This just happens sometimes. Hormones, sleep, caffeine, nutrition, Burn Sets yesterday, hydration, stress — it all plays a part. I’m going to see if I feel better later and try again. If not, I definitely have enough to do today to keep me busy and on my feet!

Siobhan — I finally know what HOCO is now! LOL Thank you! I’ve never heard of that, but Horizontal Conditioning sounds like ab work? Pilates? Interesting.

Have a lovely Tuesday! It’s a drizzly November day here, but pretty with the contrast of the leaves against the dark surroundings. Very poetic.
 
Hi Anita, workouts were good, nothing overly taxing….sounds like you need a well
deserved rest day. Low Impact Challenge will be there when you’re ready!

Hi ladies ,


Despite hubby being home all week, I made it to the gym on this cold , blustery, rainy day.

I did barbell for chest press, dumbbells for flyes and press, triceps (2 exercises) , bicep hammers curls, 1 arm at time shoulder press and then the back machine.

Then loaded up the sled like usual 6, 45's strap pulled backwards, 7 pushed back to start, 8 , strap pulled backwards, then loaded her with 12, 45's, a 10, a 5 and a 2.5 totalling 657.5 pounds. And I pushed it the full distance, whew!! Once I got it started it wasn't so bad. Had some young fellows help me unload it . Then I went and did floorwork for abs, legs and glutes with a stretch. All in all a 75 minute weight workout.

Then I headed downstairs to the War Room and did 15 minutes of punching and kicking the bag with my Cathe boxing gloves on.

So all in all a 90 minute workout for me today!

Nice well rounded workouts gals. Sorry Anita that yours didn't pan out like you wanted, very glad you listened to your body. How old are your kids?

Siobhan- Sorry if I misspoke not my intention, my appologies. We already had out Thanksgiving dinner thinking DH would have to work.
However, Thursday we are going share a Thankgiving meal (purchased at a restaurant and warmed up at his parents house).
DH's sister, DH, myself and our youngest son (over 20) will bet there to share thanksgiving dinner with his adult austisti child brother.
We wanted to make the holiday is special for him, so he's not alone on holiday.

Anita- I totally understand about workout plans or trying and your body say not today. My journey with MS its had to know what I can do on a given day even though I plan it out.
Like you said about variables being a factor. If you can't workout today that's ok maybe you need more rest. Just take care of you and be well.
The weather here is cold, foggy, and blue skies. Definately hot coco weather. I hope you are taking easy today and resting. Have a restful Tuesday on purpose because you deserve it. ;)

Annette- WOW! Another take no prisoners 90 min gym day, bravo!!! You are awesome. I'm starting to now work my way back to weights finsihing up my 6- 8months off from weights due to weights injury.
I have to start off light and work my up. Not that I lifted heavy before but heavier than I am right now. So it may be a while before I can go up, I will just do what I can and adapt from there.
