Good 2nd morning of 2018 everyone,

Today I did an Yvette Bachman workout - cardio + kettlebell. I managed 45 minutes as I need to move on with my day. Whoever introduced this name to me - thank you. She is OUTSTANDING!!!!! I will do another one of her workouts tomorrow. She is smooth like Cathe. Wow. And, she does the whole workout too. Love her!

Henriette - I feel for you. You should be able to stay home with your new baby. I wish you either winning the lottery or your work saying you can work from home everyday while you have someone home to watch Mick for you.

Peg - I get it - my DH works non-stop. No wonder I do too - I feel so unproductive next to him sometimes. And, yes, having some knowledge of her workouts helps but - it is also fun to play around. I love the blender.

Elsie - I hope you got some sleep

Linda - pls tell us your impressions of the new workouts

Annette - good luck with the changes ahead

'Morning Ceci......hope you (and everybody) have a good day.

For all of you that ordered the new workouts, I think you will like them......the more I have previewed, etc , the more I do like them,
can't wait to use in blender.......there are some new compound moves I like, I have figured out modifications where I need them
for Shred Cardio (step) and in the Mixed Impact, there are some really neat low impact sections (everything is pretty short) which
I'll use in the blender. I like some of the premixes too, so dvd-wise, I'll use them that way. I have always loved Cathe's weight work,
and so, of course, that is awesome too. Yep, I think (hope) you all will like 'em....

ETA: I don't like the case they used.....but can always put 2 of them in another case....

Good Morning everyone. Back to work, BOO!!!!! Siobhan, I'm sure my husband wouldn't say anything to me if I stayed on the couch all day but as you know there is ALWAYS something to do. He is a worker for sure and likes to make good use of his time. So I get stuff done too...then we hit the couch! Yvette Bachman is no joke right? I'm on the email list for 2lazy4gym so when she posts something new I get an email. That's how I learned of Yvette. Everything I've done from her so far has been challenging and fun. I'm glad you like her.

Linda, thanks for the info on the new wkouts. Others are also grumbling about the crappy dvd case. I'm a freak about my dvd's and cases so I've purchased decent empty dvd cases on Amazon. I'm guessing the blender for the new wkouts will be up and running this week too right?.

Elsie, I'm so glad that you got away from the miserable housing situation and can now at least get some rest. You've moved a lot in the past year right? That's always tough.

Henriette, I remember dreading going back to work too but a girl does need her spending money! You're lucky to have a job where you can work from home when needed. That's a definite plus! How are you feeling about all your new Cathe wkouts? I hope you're finding some that you enjoy.

Today I managed to do Step Blast (I didn't finish it yesterday). Getting up early again was difficult so I needed a nice step wkout, not too long. I'm hoping my new dvd's will come today.

A big hello to all who follow.

Hello ladies,

Today I went back to the You Tube channel and did 10 minutes of Yvette Bachman's cardio kickbox but was having to modify everything so I found Absolute Kickboxing with Kimberly Spreen-Glick and did it. Though it gave me no cooldown, oh well. It was 41 minutes long.

Ok, I just found the full workout but it is over 90 minutes long. Have to try it another day .

May do some abs on the floor.

Get my hair cut today and youngest son (21) to the dentist for a minor procedure.

Have a great day and workout![emoji3]

Hi ladies,

Today was another day filled with walks... getting the baby to nap.

In the afternoon while he napped in the garden outside the kitchen door after our walk, I started organizing my binders with all my workout overviews. I didn't get very far, but at least I made a start. It's a big project!

In the afternoon we had to go for a walk to the orthodontist with Magnus. Perhaps next time he can go alone... waiting rooms with an impatient and tired baby is no fun!

In the early evening I finally managed to do a workout, but it was close to dinner time and my bf was already home from work so I had to pick a short one. I did KCM Strength & Stamina, premix Upper Body Time Crunch. Short but sweet. It combines all upper body moves from both workouts, with kettlebell swings in between. Loved it!

Peg - still not thrilled about all my new Cathe DVDs. I am more into her recent stuff... at least for Step and kickboxing. I do like the old weight lifting dvds, so it's not all bad... but my money would have been better spent on On Demand for a year. Now I know.

I am considering getting Cathe Live again, but as you other ladies have also discovered Yvette Bachmann has some pretty amazing workouts online and for free! So those combined with my extensive DVD collection may be enough. Today when I completed my overview of all Cathe DVDs that I own, I was reminded of how great some are that I haven't done in a while, not to mention all the premixes that I only just started using this past year. Before 2017 I always just pressed play when I popped in a DVD, now I go through the premixes in search of the best match for my time limit or goal for the day and so many Cathe and KCM DVDs have a ton of premixes.

Henriette, do you have the “compendium”? There was a Cathlete who created it and it is A mazing!!!! Her website is “the measured mom”. She is a mother of 7? And a Cathlete. Somewhere on her website is for Cathletes. This document has every workout except her more recent ones. It has times, premixes, weights used, all of it. I emailed her perhaps a year ago asking if she was planning on updating it. She said she would but she was currently busy, home schooling all her kids. It printed it out...all 90 something pages and have it in a binder. It is an incredible document! I use it all the time. I also have my own brief reviews to coincide with the compendium. Just a thought.
