Hi Everyone,

Today I did the main program of Hardstrikes and then added on her shoulder segment. Then I stretched. I really am doing short workouts during the week now - it's just a better fit for me.

Henriette - how crappy! Gosh you sound like you got hit at once with flu symptoms and a sleepless night :(
I hope you feel better today.

Hi Ceci and all who follow,

Today I did the Boxing Combo premix off of Kelly's TLC DVD. Then I the Taebo Express Kicks.

Short but sweet and after back to back teaching classes yesterday this was what I needed.

Youngest son finally has a job interview at Home Depot[emoji16]!! He just needs a first job anywhere!! It helps that the manager of the Home Depot goes to our church but hey, now a days it is not what you know but who you know . Interview is Thursday afternoon at 3:30. It is a seasonal job but hopefully if he likes it maybe it can work into permanent.

He also applied at Wal-Mart and Tractor Supply and we sent out feeler emails to a couple of other local businesses.

Pray it goes well for him.

Hi gals! Good luck to your son Annette. I know the job market is really funky right now. Even for well educated applicants. Today I was able to stream a live class. It was a lower body/leg workout. It had a very nice burn.

Henriette, I hope everyone is feeling better. Here's to hoping and praying that our little Mick doesn't get sick. Linda, are you doing 3 short workouts every day? That's pretty impressive. I turn into a slug by late afternoon.

Hi ladies,

After more sleep last night I do feel somewhat better, despite some ear pain. I had several of my carrot cake cupcakes today so I really needed a workout after not having had one for 5 days.

I may be on to a nice routine for in the evenings with Mick. Let him stay awake when we get home from daycare so he can see the family and he can sit on my lap during dinner and not feel left out. After dinner when he is completely exhausted go for a walk... either to the store for small errands or around the block. Just 15-30minutes is enough and he will fall into a deep sleep and stay asleep once back home while I carefully remove some layers. Then I am free to workout and have a shower while he sleeps and during the walk my food will have settled. That is my plan, as long as it's not my turn to pick up kids from basketball. It may not always work, but it worked today. Yeah!

I decided not to do the BB & H&C hybrid that I started last week right now, but just to go with a different workout. I picked KCM muscle definition workout 1. It's part of 30MTF, but it's 41 minutes! I can't really remember doing it before, but I probably have a few years ago. I can't say I liked it all that much, but it did work my muscles in my UB quite hard seeing I tried to go heavy and there's quite some reps. Legs were included, but not as much as UB. Not sure I will be returning to this one anytime soon.

I think I will sign up for Live again tomorrow... a nice Valentine's present for myself [emoji7]

Henriette I’m sorry you didn’t like the workout. I don’t own that one. Too much of Kelly’s weight work seem very upper body focused and her form appears questionable. That’s just me though. Plus I don’t usually enjoy upper body work.
 
Hey girls, been on the "injured" list, the other night I twisted my knee (not while working out) and that was
Hurting and then the next night, after shower and while wiping down shower, did something to my right
Shoulder! So yesterday was major pain day! :(. Going to chiropractor this AM to see if he can straighten me out,
Things seem to feel better this morning, not hurting near as bad.....so no workouts right now :(
I might Have hurt my shoulder before when I was trying to do those 1/2 Turkish getups, so I think I will skip those
In the future, I should have known better when I was having trouble on one side, but no, I just Keep on!
Peg, I usually only do multiple shorter workouts on weekends and days off, when I have the extra time.
I agree, some of Kelly's moves are hard, but I usually choose the modifier if I think it is a bit much for me, and
Still get a good workout., or when I program a DVD workout on my player, I just choose the exercises I am
Comfortable with..it's all good!
