Good morning!!

I have a dentist appt after work today so my w/o will be later and, I'm sure, shorter.

I plan on a 30 minute cardio, maybe a kickboxing premix that fits the bill and also the KM LCD's.

Today was supposed to be U/B work for me but I am off schedule on my rotation so I need to switch things around a bit. I will be doing L/B instead--Leaner Legs + ab work. Tomorrow I can do the U/B that's on the schedule for today.

Good morning all!

I just finished Legs and Glutes - oh how I love those one-legged dead lifts! I need to do a Coremax, but that is going to have to wait until later. I gotta run to the store and get milk and bread for my kiddos!

Teaching a 30 minute circuit class and will walk for 30 minutes. I've been trying to get in at least 60 minutes of some kind of cardio 6 days a week.

Push-ups day, the first of 3 this week if all goes according to plan.

Added some new Glider lower body exercises to my pilates class yesterday! Good stuff!

Today was Imax 3. It actually decided to work in my player today, although it did start sticking around interval blast 8, so I think that may have been it for that workout. Tacked on Ab hits 7 as well.

Daily Check-in

I started previewing the CTX Series last night. It looks like a blast. I love high impact and intensity. It is a good thing. I am hoping and praying that my joints can handle it. I would love to blast off a few more pounds before my trip next month, and I am thinking about starting the CTX Series next week instead of the rotation I was planning with Step, Jump, & Pump, Kick, Punch, & Crunch, Gauntlet, IMAX Extreme, Boot Camp, and Step Blast. Now that I see that in writing, the CTX Series might actually be a gentler approach! ;-)

I stayed up too late again last night. I was all set to be in bed before midnight, but I read Cathe’s latest update and got too excited! :7

I did a homemade circuit of Supersets this morning with intervals of rebounding. Fun, fun, fun. I love Supersets. The VHS version is not as challenging as some of Cathe’s super advanced workouts, but it is perfect for lighter weeks. The stability ball adds to the fun factor. :)

Shelley and Phyllis, the Viper is my most dreaded Cathe workout. In fact, it is the only one I truly dread. I attempted it once (last month), and it kicked my butt. Then I went to the zoo 2 days later and saw a real viper and decided that I never want to touch that workout again. Of course, I did the Terminator workouts on consecutive days. The Viper was the third one in a row. I might be able to handle it with a lighter day before and after.

Conni, thanks for the Push recommendation. I have read that it is available in stores now for less than $10.00, so I will be looking for it. I love Kari’s choreography. I feel like a dancer when I do one of her workouts. :) I have and love Classic Cardio. I think I am the one who suggested it to you. ;-) Have you tried any of Jay’s workouts? I really like him in Classic Cardio, and there are not many male instructors on video that I connect with for some reason. I still want to master Christi’s choreography someday. I like her music, but something about her teaching style throws me for a loop. I have Still Jumpin’ on VHS, and Jane has inspired me to give it another whirl. Is there an easier one to start with when learning her style? I have read Mission Possible reviews and think that would be too simple and boring for me.

Phyllis, I am one of the ones who prefers childbirth over the dentist. My teeth are in rough shape, to much soda when I was in the military, plus two pregnancy's really did a number.
Anyway, I am planning a step, possibly IMAX 2, but I am feeling slightly tired so it might be RS.

Hi Heather,

I would start with Christi's Mission Possible, which is a great intro to her style and technique. Then I would go to the Totally series. Those 2, imo, are the easiest to "get", then I would go to the Just for Fun, then the Solid Gold, and so on.

You might also like Franny Bennedetto, who has several tapes with CIA.

Do you have Kari's Dancworks? I don't remember if you do, but that and 2 the Max are really fun, also! Get PUSH!!!

This check in is great. I love hearing what all of you are doing. Helps me. Anyway, today is KPC. Hopefully i will get to it. Today is one of those days when you just want to lay on the couch and watch TV all day. I am just trying to keep the goal in mind. 20 pounds

Hello again.

This cold is beatin' me down. UGH! LL was sheer TORTURE!x( For a while there I was sure I wouldn't get through it but I did. I kept pushin' through one exercise at a time until it was FINALLY over! Then I breathed a GIANT sigh of relief and crumbled to the floor for the stretch!;)

I did PUB ab work before I did LL and I am happy to report that I am soooo stinkin' close to doin' a full pike on the ball! YEAH!!!!}(
 
I'm playing hookey today and loving it!! I received some new workouts yesterday so I had a long session this morning. I started with FitPrime 'Steamin Cardio' and liked it a lot, I added on IMAX step only and RS Challenge. I finished up with Karen Voigt's Fitness Circle workout and will be getting lots of use out of that one for sure, next time I do it I'll keep my band handy and use it for some of the exercises to really hit the inner and outter thigh.

I feel a little self indulgent for ordering a bunch more new workouts, but only just a little}( :+

The rest of my day is CleanMax, CookMax and maybe even a little MowMax!

Hello ladies,
I will doing a 4-5 mile run today on the treadmill and also some lying leg work. It is my husbands and my 15th year wedding anniversay. We will be going to dinner tonight without the KIDS!!!! Yahoo!!! Have a great day everyone and kudos to all the great workouts.:)

Sounds like some great workouts are planned. No runs for me today. Today is GS legs. My ds is home today so I haven't done my workout yet. Hopefully he'll nap soon. :)
