Daily Check-In Tuesday 4/12

Good Morning! Today is cardio day, think I'll do HiiT 40/20 and add on some ab work at the end.

Hi Tammy,

Happy birthday to you hubby!!! Have some cake!!!

I think I am being forced to take it easy, and it doesn't sit well with me. DH is still in the hospital, hopefully coming home tomorrow.
In the meantime I am not doing any aerobics at all, mostly upper body stuff, taking ibuprofen and using a heating pad. I may do the next step and refill DH's vicodin so that I can sleep at night. The doctors at the hospital say I should get crutches...crutches?? Really? Then I would really kill myself!

Today I did manage S90 Shoulders, biceps and triceps, then CLX Extreme Abs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I did half of Billy Blank's Jr. Burn it UP FULL workout off of Exercise TV for my cardio today.

It is a rainy dreary day today.

Connie-Time and rest will do the trick for your strained quad. Looks like you're doing a fine job working around the injury.

Callico-I hope tomorrow brings sunshine!

Today was library volunteer day, so I did a lot of walking and about a gazillion squats... :)
 
Conni ~ I agree with what Zippity said...time and rest. I know that isn't want you want to hear, but your injury needs time to heal.

Annette ~ I don't mind dreary, rainy days on work days ;) Hopefully your weather will clear up by the weekend.

Hi everyone! I feel like I have not worked out in days. My last workout was Sunday. My pup is getting better. That was the craziest thing. One day she is healthy, the next day she is barfing up everything until finally its blood from both ends. I've never been so afraid. I really thought we were going to lose her. Doc says pancreatitis. she is home and seems today to be getting better. She actually ate something today and kept it down. She's wagging her tail with a little more energy than in past days.

One of my visitors left today, my mom is still here for the next couple of weeks. It changes my routine a lot so I'm not sure how much exercising I'll get in. But I will check in and cheer for all of you. :D

Connie - listen to your body....rest....and decorate your crutches with christmas lights or something fun...:p

Tammy, Annette, Zip, great work outs!!! Do some abs for me!:eek:
