DAILY CHECK-IN Tuesday 13 Dec.

Hi everyone,

I can tell you that my new sofa's are very comfy. To sit on and to relax on ;-)

Did a run. My legs were kinda stiff and my mind wasn't really focused, so I figured it was time for a bit of visualising. Today I was a steam engine again. You know how they slowly pull out of the station, gaining speed, rolling down the hills, fuel.... fuel... more fuel as I increased speed. I was staring at my legs in the mirror, imagining they were these things on the side of the big wheels, moving ever faster... whoohooo. In the distance I could here my HRM bleep whenever I completed a (1K)lap, but I had to keep the engine burning, no time to look! Finally I ran out of fuel (and steam). Oh no, still the last hill to climb!! Yeah, I made it... ran about 5.6K as I came to a halt. Letting of more steam as I stopped to refuel before doing PLB-UP premix.

Great run.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and a great w/o.

Dutchie, how inventive. It sounds like visualizing may help get the w/o done when you are less than enthused about it!

Yesterday was SJP hi/lo and wts circuit.

Today is a 20 minute run and segment 3 of CoreMax. I may extend my run. I am beginning to feel a little less than worked out with this rotation. I did need some recovery time coming into this rotation but I believe I'm caught up on that, so I need to start adding on some when time permits.

yes Jane, I have several visualizations, like a Hawaii beach I once visited when it's really cold outside, but the steam engine works best for me when I need a push. I can really see the furnish and the hot coals that give the energy and adding more coals if I need to ;-) It makes me run faster.

Good Morning Dutchie and Jane and all who follow!

I agree with you Jane..........I am going to add to my workouts when time permits, as I feel I am not quite challenging myself enough.

Yesterday I did cardio & weights and today I will do a longer run than called for.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!:D

I'll definitely try this. I have a run today after I get off work and it is suppose to be 35 degrees. I'll need lots and lots of coal!! :+

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I'm going to do CTX: PowerCircuit and CM#1.

Dutchie: What an awesome run...great job!

Jane & Becky: Enjoy your run today.

Wendy: Good luck w/your new rotation.

Hello to all that follow....have a great day!

Tammy

Thanks Tammy...I'm really liking it so far!:)

Have fun doing Power Circuit!

ETA:

Carole, got your response over in the rotation forum, thanks!:)

Wow Dutchie, that's some good imagination! Did you make the whistle sounds too???;-)

Today was Low Max for me and I used an 8" platform which got my heart rate up but for some reason the workout seemed to DRAG ON... but it's still a good workout!

Have a good (and warm day everyone who's running outside) day!

Jeanette

Hi to all,

I did the step portion of SJP and floor work from GS legs and some calf work while I made my sons lunch for school. (I had to fit the calf work in some how LOL)

I wish I could visualize like that!

Gotta go and buy my 4 year old a new winter snow suit. I wish I could freeze him at this size :p

Elaine

Elaine,
I just had to pipe in and say that 3 and 4 years old was my very favorite age for my kids! They are so much fun and have such a great imagination and just say the cutest things!!!
I am getting to relive those years now since my daughter married a man who has a 3 year old!!
And Christmas with little ones is the BEST!!
Give your little guy an extra hug today from me. :)

Hi everyone

Mariángeles a spanish terminator,TAEBO and Turbo Jam junkie.

Hi all, today is my youngest son's 9th birthday!!

The drywall guy came this morning to mud and tape the drywall we hung a while ago so my workout got put on hold.

But I managed to do the 8 min. taebo after lunch, short but at least it was something and I did use weighted gloves. I am also very sore from my bicep workout yesterday considering I hadn't done weights in weeks.:( Hopefully the soreness will work itself out!

Have a great day!!:7

YIKES! I just finished KM leg drills and PLB stability ball work back to back! NOT recommend for the faint of heart! LOL }( I did 30 mins of KM cardio first ofcourse. ;)

Becky,

Hug, given :)

My favorite age with my older son was 4. My younger son is more of a challenge, but still very lovable and cute.:D

Elaine

Ha! Last again or maybe Carole will follow ;)

Today was KM - didn't do all the blasts (too tough on the knees) but very good work out. Considering the whole is 74 I certainly got an hr in.

Very tired.. yesterday was S&H L&S. Bed time now!

Hi Robyn.

KM is a killer work out in full! I did it once and it kicked my butt GOOD! I just did bits and pieces of it today and it still did a pretty good job on me! The blasts are "super imax evil" and those blasted leg conditioning drills are super intense in thier own right!!!
