Brrrrrr again!I was supposed to do SJP this AM, but instead I'm sitting here at the computer wrapped up in a blanket. My sleep was awful last night. I rotated between hot flashes and freezing my butt off! I'll try for SJP again tomorrow.

Good Morning,

Oh Phyllis, sorry about your rotten night!! ;(

It is freezing here too....-5 and about 63 degrees in the house. When it gets this cold, the electric heat pump just can't keep up!
Heavy snow predicted for later today.

Today's a 45 min. walk or bike ride, which will DEFINITELY be done inside today!!!!
I'm hoping that a workout and then a good hot shower will help me to warm up.

Have a good one!:D

BRRRRRR!! is right Phyllis.... here in NC it is 17 degrees. That is cold for us!

Today is my rest day and I finally start the Feb rotation tomorrow. Can't wait!

Hey Becky! We posted at the same time. I'll try not to complain about 17 when you are -5! :) I believe we are all in the deep freeze!

Hey Ladies!

Becky, We have baseboard gas heat that can't keep up either. It's mainly b/c our living room is so darned drafty! BRRRRRR! Thank goodness DH has it set up to where Joey's room (upstairs) stays right around 70 degrees even when we have the heat jacked up to try to keep the downstairs warm.

Phyllis, You are wrapped in a blanket and I put a sweatshirt on when I got out of bed! LOL Sorry you had such a lousy night's sleep. Hope it's better for you tonight.

Jane, 17 degrees is cold for me too! BRRRRRRRRR! Stay warm! How's your son?

Okay, well today will be....B&G Leg Blast Premix, either PlyoX-an IMAX or a DM cardio only premix and either ARX or B&G abs. I'm gonna be HURTIN' later!}( }( }(

TOODLES!:7

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me is Meaner Legs, some ab work and some chin-ups. I switched a few workouts around this week,

Phyllis: I have that night every single night....blech. I hope you feel better.

Becky: Enjoy your walk!

Jane: Enjoy your rest day. Any news about your son?

Tig: Wow!

Conni: I think you are a few days ahead of me in the rotation.

Annette: I'm glad you survived your dad's visit.

Heather: All-Step is lots of fun...and you followed it w/Meaner Legs....WOW!

Hi everyone,

Yes, I am a few days ahead of the game on the rotation, today was supposed to be rest day, but I did Seasun's SUS and ab hits, just to stay warm!! I actually saw my thermometer in my car hit -3 on my way into work today. I have never seen it in the negative digits!!

Phyllis - I had an interesting night also. I am in the middle of an extremely wild period, plus my allergies are acting up, so I was up all night, and I was really hoping for a good night's sleep.

Hang in there!

Thanks everyone for asking about DS. He is moving slow but he is moving. He had to take a pain pill last night because I believe he overdid it yesterday. I told him he cannot speed up the recovery to overdoing it. He needs rest as much as exercise. He is wearing his back brace when he is up and around. It is going to take time.

Thanks Tammy I am too, LOL!!

I did various weight exercises off of the PS series for biceps, chest, triceps, shoulders and abs. Felt good to get back into weights. I skipped back because they all make my back hurt too bad.

It is very very cold again today, low last night was supposed to be 3 degrees and with a wind chill, BRRRRR!!! I am glad that I don't have to go out till later.

Have a great day!!:7

Daily Check-in

I am tired tonight. I need to start getting more sleep at night. My eating is clean. My rotation is balanced. I have made many positive changes this year, but I am still staying up too late at night. That will be my downfall eventually if I do not turn it around soon. My goal is to be asleep by 10:00 p.m. so I can wake up at 4:00 a.m. and have more time for Bible study and prayer before I face the world. I am a morning girl, and I feel so much better when I get to bed early and get up early. I started getting off track with my Bible study the week of the ice storm. It is so hard to get up on cold and dark mornings. I am ready for spring! I am tired of running late every morning and feeling rushed. Getting enough sleep at night has always been one of my greatest challenges. Thankfully, I am able to sleep. I just need to do it!

I did the Kickbox cardio and arm drills this morning followed by Pyramid Upper Body. I am planning to try Maximum Intensity Cardio for the very first time tomorrow morning. I need to preview it before I call it a day so I will know what to expect.

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. It is time for a warm bubble bath and a Cathe preview party.

Phyllis, I hope you stay warm and get some sleep tonight.

Becky, I cannot complain about the 30s here after reading what you are enduring. Of course, anything below 70 is chilly for me. Brrr. Thankfully, it warms up to the 60s in the afternoon.

Jane, 17 is extremely cold for a Southern girl! I totally understand. I am so glad your son is recovering.

Wendy, I hope you can walk tomorrow!

Tammy, did you enjoy Leaner Legs?

Conni, I am sorry you are having such a rough time with allergies and your cycle. I hope you feel better in the morning.

Annette, bundle up and stay warm!

Blessings,
Heather B.
