Daily Check in Tues April 17

Cathlete
I'm back to morning! Yesterday was a fluke. For some reason I had it in my head that I might be able to perform better in the evening. Slaps self on the head! What was I thinking?

Today I did 10 mins of ab hits and IMAX 2. It was such a comfort WO!

Tammy, the workout dedication is such thoughtful thing to do. I must admit lately I've bee dwelling on the fact that I need to make my yearly mammogram appt!

Becky, were you able to do a run outside? We had miserable weather yesterday. Don't forget to show us pics of the finished bedroom.

Jane, when did you say that you will see Joseph next?

Vilma, that was quite a comeback workout!

Annette, I didn't see the 20/20 episode, but I do think everyone is so different that it's hard to make a blanket statement like that.

Hello Tig, Heather and anyone else!

Welcome Michelle!

Good morning Phyllis and all that follow....

I didn't have to go to the barn this morning since DH is home, so when the clock went off at 5, I laid back down for "just a minute" HA! I woke up at 5:45. I am so sleepy today for some reason.

Phyllis - If I go to WW today, which I need to, I will go by and see the little fella today. If not, it will be the weekend. I took off work next week, so they won't be able to get rid of me then!

Welcome to the check-in Michelle....

Hello to everyone else.

Today is my rest day. This rotation so far has been a good one. I've had a lot of DOMS with this one.

ETA - Phyllis, I think it is all what you get use to as far as workout time. I do my workout when I get off work at 3 in the afternoon. I do workout on weekends in the mornings but after 8 or 9:00. I've tried a few workouts at 4 in the morning and that was definitely very unpleasant. That is way too early for this body to work out!

Good Morning Ladies!:)

Phyllis, Hope you enjoyed IM2!:)

Jane, Happy rest day! Enjoy your upcoming week with the little one!:+

I have BBC Butt and Legs on tap for today. It's just a 30 min work out and I have no cardio planned. It's going to be an oddly short work out for me but yet a nice change at the same time...:)

Last night I blew off my running class. I had a slight headache and the weather was cold and rainy. I was not in the mood for an outdoor run AT ALL so I picked myself up after dinner and headed for the gym for a quickie work out. I did ITread set 2/20 mins. I was sweating like a pig. It was great!}(

Have a great day!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today is GS C/T and the Bonus Cardio...I have an early morning hair appointment first though.

Phyllis: I've got to make my mamm appointment too.

Jane: Enjoy your rest day.

Becky: Your room sounds lovely!

Heather: I hope you were able to sleep last night. I have found that cardio suppresses my appetite and wieght lifting increases it too. I also prefer circuits for fat loss and may do a an all circuit rotation next month.

Conni: Continued prayers.

Vilma: Have a great day!

Annette: I hope you feel better today.

Good Morning Fitties!

Phyllis, I didn't run at all yesterday. I did 20 min. SS stationary bike ride and later DS came by and wanted to walk, so I walked outside with him too! He knows I will never turn down a walk !:D
I will be taking pictures today of the bedroom and will post one or two if you want to see them.

Today I have Imax2 and I LOVE it and have been looking forward to it.
But then yesterday I got Step Sweatfest in the mail and I am very tempted to try it out - I think it would be an okay sub. Decisions, decisions!

Hi to everyone....WElCOME Michele!:)

Tammy, So when you do an all circuit rotation, do you alternate upper body and lower body or do you do full body back to back at all?? I know you are waiting on my pics. :) I will take them, I promise. It's just that I prefer to have them taken in the morning and during the week that just isn't gonna happen so I plan to take them this coming weekend. I forgot this past weekend.

Becky, Enjoy IM2. No subbing allowed! :p ;) :7

Hi everyone,

DH still holding steady. He is in Step Down now, and is more comfortable, I am still anxious for him to really wake up and get out of this semi-conscious state, but all is as good as can be expected for now.

Today was Tone it UP, one of my favorites of the SS. Yesterday was Amy's HLX and ab hits...

Connie!

Good news! He is headed in the right direction! How are YOU?

I loved today's workout!
I COULDN'T totally skip my beloved Imax2:p so I did w/u & 1-5 Imax2 PLUS 1-5 of Step Sweatfest, and belly burner (which I learned I really can't do, it's full of variations of legs lifts, a no-no with back problems, so I did my own version) and c/d from Imax2

GREAT mishmosh and I think I'll really like the new Tracey dvd.
I have to get used to her cueing which is nowhere near as good as Cathe's. Also she went from combo to interval without saying anything, so I was trying to guess if it was still a combo or interval.....they all just sort of ran together, but I did sweat like crazy!! Can't wait to try the second half !

Just realized I am mowing the grass today......talk about getting my cardio !}( }(

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Tuesday mornings going out to Phyllis, Jane, Wendy, Tammy, Becky, Conni and all who follow.

As soon as I'm done posting this I'm off to do Imax2 (I've always loved that WO) and 10 min. ab work.

Today I have my youngest (8yr) home sick with a very bad tummy, she had a field trip (1 1/2 hrs away) to go on and everything was paid for but she threw up twice before we had to leave and on my way driving all 3, she threw up again in the car.

Thank goodness I had her hold on to a plastic bag as I was driving. She kept trying to convince me to let her go to school so she could attend the field trip with her class and I was just playing it by ear but when my oldest dd told me she was barfing in the bag (which I heard) that just officially made me play the mommy card. I told her that's it no more convincing you're not going to school. I was expecting an arguement from her but I think she quietly was glad that I put my foot down. She is now sleeping on our bed. Poor kid really wanted to go too. Oh well.

* Phyllis - I just had to giggle when you asked yourself what were you thinking when you figured out am WO are best for you - heck at least you tried it right?

I have to schedule my 1st mamogram for next month as I will be 40 on May 13th and my doc tell me I should have it done on my 40th birthday - I had been bugging her for 2 yrs about it.

Anything I need to know before hand? I'm a bit leery about getting squished although after nursing my 3 kids; my twins are half the size of what they once were lol

* Jane - enjoy your rest day and maybe even your grandbaby after WW?

* Wendy - could you tell me more about iTread 2/20? I have 2/40 is it about the same or more intense less time? Would love to hear your take on it.

* Becky - looking forward to your pics on your colors in your room -

When we had this house built 4yrs ago I told the builder what colors I wanted and of course after dealing with him we gave up on the color choices and figured we'd paint later on the colors we wanted. The builder was a real p.i.t.a. and we just wanted the house completed so we could move in and lock in the rate. ::sigh:: So my bedroom really needs painting too as I've done some rooms so far.

* Conni - glad to gear your hubby is slowly on the mend

* Michelle - welcome! :)

Ok now I'm off to play w/ Cathe & Imax2 }(

Hello Everyone,
How is everyones day going? Today is GS C/T and the Bonus Cardio....Tammy were on the same schedule, did you just start or almost done? Then I might go for a bike ride it looks like its going to be a beautiful day out, Hope everyone has/Had a great workout! Be Back Later
~Michelle:)

My workout is finally done...I didn't have nearly as much fun doing those drop sets of push-ups as I had with IM#2 yesterday.

Tig: I am either going to do three days of total body circuits mixed with 3 days of running OR I was looking at this rotation:

http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=7&topic_id=657&mesg_id=657&page=2

Michelle: Welcome!!! I am in the third week of the rotation...almost done!

Becky: Great workout!

Vilma: I hope your DD feels better soon. I also hope it doesn't pass through the whole family. Mammograms are really just uncomfortable, no pain involved, at least that is my experience.

I just finished Butt and Legs. Great burn!}( I went a bit too light on most of the weighted exercises I think. I'll be upping my weights next time. :D

Vilma,

Itread set 2/20 mins is fast and hilly. She punches up the speed after the warm up by 1 or 2% for a several minutes and then makes you run a 4% incline at that fast speed 3 times I think. On the 4th and final hill she is "nice" and takes the incline down to a 3% grade. }( I kicked up my speed more then usual since it was a short work out so I was chose to bring my pace down a bit for the first 3 hills cause I wouldn't have been able to run them at the pace I was going. I was able to keep pace on the final hill though so I was happy about that. :) What a work out though..even "cheating" like I did it kicked my butt! It's a tough one for sure!}(

Tammy,

Gotcha! I think I'd choose the circuit/running idea. I wouldn't have the patience to follow the Cathe rotation you are thinking about doing because I'd be too lazy to read all of the details! LOL :p

For those of you who are interested...I "unlocked" my X pics. I still have to do the final ones but day 1-60 are there if you want to check 'em out....

Wendy -
You look great can't wait to see your 90 day photos!

You can really see your results in day 30 & 60 wow!
Way to go!

I thought about getting the X back about 2 yrs ago but never did.

Thanks Tammy-
Actually she is feeling better now after throwing up her 5th and final time late this morning.

I think she ate something yesterday that just did not agree with her system.

I've been pushing fluids on her and it seems to have flushed whatever was ailing her on both ends lol. She is back to her old self again thankfully. :)

As far as the mammo goes - I really have no idea what to expect I just hope when I do get it it's a female attending. My hubby is active duty military close to retirement now and I deal with the young techs lol over on the base for now. I just don't like people 'touching' me in that fashion

Oh Wendy - Sounds like that's one itread I can get into }(

I need to put this one on my 'wish list' Thanks for the info :)

Wendy: AWESOME pix...thanks for sharing. You can really see the strength gains you made and the ab definition....GREAT JOB...can't wait to see the final results. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Ladies. You all are very sweet!:)

Ofcourse I HATE the pics but I LOVE what the X has done for me. I guess so long as the pics show the difference then that's what counts even though I feel I look several pounds heavier in the pics as compared to real life. x(

I know, I know...you can tell me to shut up and stop being stupid now!:p :7

Wendy, the pics look great! I can see tons more definition in your abs. Very cool!

Vilma, no real words of wisdom for your mammo. I think every person is different. They always have trouble on my left side for some reason. I don't have a whole lot of body fat so there isn't a whole bunch to latch on to.IMHO, it's not terrible but it's not fun either. Mine is scheduled for the 24th.
