Today is my rest day! I revisited BC/ME bonus combo yesterday and it was just a great workout!

So Wendy, what's different about recovery week? Is it missing cardio and strength?

Conni, you should be proud of yoruself with IMAX3. I also have to modify. It's just too much impact.

Annette, don't be so hard on yourself! You are still moving and that's what counts.

Heather, I think you're right about shoes. No matter how much you spend, they still need replacing at the same interval.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I spent the day yesterday sick in bed. I'm feeling better this morning and will attempt yesterday's workout of MM. Tomorrow I'll finish up the rotaton with MIC....what a way to go out!

Phyllis, C&W is fun. Have a good time with it! Recovery week as written in the X is 1 day of light cardio, 2 days of yoga, 2 days of the core synergy work out and 1 day of stretching. It's main goal is to give your muscles a rest from all of the heavy lifting in the program.

Tammy, Sorry you were sick y'day. You need to feel better once and for all so that you can head into NYC to meet the girls this weekend!!!!!:)

I have a 20-30 min run and core synergy on tap for today.

Hi everyone,

Sun??? What's that? It is snowing right now, big, fluffy, stupid flakes! This weather is such a depressant, isn't it??? No wonder I am craving chocolate!:)


Today was supposed to be MM, but I opted for something non-Cathe. I did Kelly Coffey's NYC. This one is a real upper body burner, imo, and it just keeps moving!

I did the mountain bike program on my stationary bike (50minutes) and biceps from PH & BM.

Ready for a stretch and shower!!!:D Oh, and a yummy fruit smoothie too!:9 :p
 
on a short break and was browsing through the Ask Cathe forum and happened on a thread where Cathe said she would not only be filming this year but more than once this year! Did y'all see that?! I think I need to look again... I swear that is what it said.
 
I took a rest day, trying for 3 days a week for now, maybe my body needs a break from 5 days a week.
 
Daily Check-in

This was another good day. After my quiet time, I did Muscle Max as produced for the first time. I used the premixes for most of the Hardcore Series workouts when I did my first rotation this past September. It is fun to experience the whole workouts for the first time. I may get brave enough to give the Gym Styles a whirl later this month! I love the Hardcore Series. This is without a doubt some of Cathe’s best work. Muscle Max does not have the fun factor of Supersets, but I enjoyed it. I actually could have used heavier weights. Is it my imagination, or does Cathe go easy on biceps in this one? I love that this workout does not have endless reps. I enjoy the Slow and Heavy upper body workouts for the same reason. I prefer endurance workouts for my lower body and strength workouts for my upper body. I am still not a weight training fan, but this one is a keeper. I like the music, the set, and the pretty outfits. It is not as entertaining as a cardio workout or a circuit training workout, but it is enjoyable.

I am checking in early tonight so I can get to bed early. I am looking forward to trying IMAX3 for the first time in the morning. I flirted with premixes in September, but this will be my first time to do the whole workout. I had a dress rehearsal tonight and walked through each of the step combinations a few times. I love the fun choreography. IMAX2 has better music, but IMAX3 has more creative choreography. I love the pretty outfits too. Is it morning yet?! I am so ready to experience this one! I am planning to do the super high impact blasts on my rebounder. Speaking of which, I bounced on my rebounder tonight while my veggies were steaming.

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. It is time to wrap up this day with a relaxing bubble bath.

Tammy, did you do Muscle Max with me today? I hope you are feeling better tonight.
