Hi ladies,
I did another Shine Fitness during my lunch and this time I actually had more fun with it. Better than the last two w/o's I tried, but not great enough that I want to pay 10 bucks every month for it.
This evening I did 2 EDT sessions fos my upper body. First bicep curls/ skull crushers and then chest press /front raise. This time I went super heavy on my biceps... And stayed the same for triceps as I think that weight was good for me.
As for results from EDT... Who knows. This is only my second week and although I am tallying my sets this week, I am not sure how often I will return to exactly the same combinations to really beat my PR. So main gains... I am getting stronger, gaining knowledge and getting a gr8 uncomplicated w/o without spending hours and I can listen to music to keep me motivated. Also so many things to try that won't hurt my shins/calves. Downside: it takes time to prep, there are so many pairings to try, I can literally spend hours researching and coming up with things to try, I will have to be careful not to overtrain some parts and forget others. I think that just about sums it up. I have ordered Muscle Logic and 3 other weight lifting books. Ended up going for actual books rather than e-books. It never ceases to amaze me that it's cheaper to have real books shipped from all over the world, than it is to buy the Kindle version. Why, oh why? I love my Kindle but I am not paying lots extra to be able to read weight lifting books on there.
Have found another dance fitness streaming that I may give a try after my Shine Fitness gets cancelled. It seems a bit strange... They call it on demand but always just offer 1 class for 24hrs before replacing it with a new one. That doesn't really give you any choice, so I guess you'll either love it or hate it. It's also around 10 per month... So far Cathe Live has been the best 10 per month I have spent, but I enjoy variation and have lots of Cathe dvds to grab when I need a fix. Also can't wait for Strong & Sweaty to arrive. I pre-ordered the series excl. Ride.
