I am sure you will be the best that you are and will be an asset to the conference!
"Health Goal" is an excellent goal! Just reading your posts here, I have no doubt
that you are a wonderful speaker.....

Nora, sorry you weren't able to get your workout in yesterday! Don't fret over it,
today or tomorrow is "another" day to get it done.....

Yes, Anita, grocery shopping is a workout in itself. I just dread to go to the store(s)
anymore, as I usually am a basket case when I get home. :) I guess we should
call it "Grocery Max" :)

Today's workouts:

Blender- "Simply Triceps" - 18 min.
Blender- "Cathe: All Upper Body" - 18 min.
VideoSki- 15 min. Telluride, Colorado cross-country skier workout

And thank you for the kind words. This is my second conference. My last was about 6 years ago. I’m really pleased they invited me back. My last session was good… but I do not look back on it fondly. A re-do is definitely in order. As I said, my oldest has autism and his next younger sibling is also on the spectrum. We were some of the original beta-testers of a special needs homeschooling curriculum about ten years ago. Now that my kids are teenagers, I’m being asked to lead a session on how it all works and how it worked for us (it worked a miracle, btw). Lots of young moms (and dads) who are starting out really need guidance and encouragement, especially with special needs kids. I really hope I can be part of that encouragement.

Your workout sounds lovely, Linda! The Workout Blender seems to be quite the fun toy! I’m so analogue, though, I just pop in a premix and call it good :D Not technologically patient AT ALL. Which workouts are your favorite to borrow from and mix and match?

Today is supposed to be FlexTrain. But we shall see. I think I’m in need of a recovery day. KickMax is tomorrow… thinking hard about this one.

There’s also a “Shovel Max” , but being in SC, you probably don’t have to worry too
much about snow.

Which workouts are your favorite to borrow from and mix and match?
Yes, I am addicted to that blender….I currently have 1328 blender workouts in my
library! I know, I need to get a life! LOL! I pull chapters from all of them, but
currently it seems I use STS 1 and now STS 2 series, Perfect 30’s, Lite Series, RWH,
etc. I have to have variety in my workouts, or I get bored very easily. And I like
to combine shorter workouts with add-ons, etc…I try to workout approx. 45 min.
to an hour each morning…that could be 1 workout or several shorter ones.
 
Flex Train — DONE. It was easier than I thought it would be… and harder. The music makes it worth it. And now I want blue tennis shoes. ;D

Cede is hard not to look at. She always gives 110% and looks amazing doing it. (Those little ties at the end of her leggings would drive me bananas, though.)

Today’s Wisdom: If you think you’re not up to it, just show up and try five minutes. You’ll surprise yourself. Showing up is half the battle.

Previewed Kick Max (first time I’ve done it) and laughed at Lil’ Baby Jae. She’s adorable (and ripped). And Cathe looks like a tiny cyborg. I always forget how absolutely tight she was for the Hard Core series. Intimidating. It’s fun to see everyone change and grow over the years. (Including myself!)

Yay on completing Flex Train! Cede was always one of my favorites, sure do miss her!
Don’t remember how long ago it was, but she was in one of Cathe’s Live workouts!
It was nice to see her and she looked just as great as ever!

I am rushing to add my workout today as it's a very busy day! Today I did the hardcore series (is that what it's called?) for back/shoulders and biceps. Wow. That was good. I did an Oliver Sjostrom stretch for 10 minutes.

Hi ladies,

Today was a mish mosh with regards to the order in which I did things. Came to the gym and the barbell wasn't available so I started with dumbbells for chest flyes and press, ( 17.5, 20, and 25's), then did the back machine, which was about 30 minutes. My friend's class ended so she watched me finish up on the back machine and we headed downstairs to hit the bags. We did that for about 15 minutes, then she left and I talked a few minutes with a new young lady who was doing the sled in the War Room.

I headed back upstairs to do the sled, made it to 655 pounds (after doing my regular strap pull 6 plates, push 7 and pull 8 then loaded it with 12, 45's , a 10 and a 5 for a grand total of 655!! And I pushed and I did it. So sled was 20 minutes then ended with 20 minutes of floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus a stretch.

So grand total of 85 minutes between everything I did today.

Nice workouts ladies!!

So if we are walking into a dark alley one night, what you’re saying is, you’ve got my back… Because if you can push a Yugo around a gym floor, Im pretty sure you can protect yourself. :D

This is “Gym Styles”, right? If so, it’s on my list to do probably the week after Thanksgiving. All the Gym Style workouts are “new” to me since I decided to get the entire Hard Core Series (except the compilation DVD). Is it difficult? What other workouts would you compare it to?

WTG & high fives on your workouts today. Gym Style- back,Sh, and back - that is a tough one. I'm still healing from injury in June.
I am phasing back in weights slowly and at lighter weights for safety until January.

Annette- You are awesome!! Another take no prisoners gym workout with everything from dumb bells, Machines, awesome sled, bag work, finished wiith 20 min
of floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus a stretch. Bravo!! That was another amazing workout done and dusted in the books. WTG and high fives!!

Yea, my late mother in law used to say that she did not want to meet me in a dark alley and at that time I was really into Taebo.
