Good morning all! I was running late this morning and could not check in. I'm feeling better today. I will finally get that total body work out in today. I'm thinking I'll do a free style of compound exercises so I can get in and out fast.

Tam - sorry to hear your not feeling well. Feel better soon, Keep us posted.

Connie - are you following FF summer rotation? I like the mix up of the rotation, but I hate working legs....l

Hi gals, I did CTX Upper body split about 40 min. of it so not back covered all of upper body so I am happy. I have a sub job this afternoon so I am making money too.

My son got the job and started working this morning at 7 am!!! Whoo hoo!!! Things are falling into place. He is registered for college in the Fall and got all but one of the classes he needed this first semester so we are happy.

I did a tabata style workout using med to light weights, choosing compound exercises. Used my gymboss timer. 20 sec of work 10 sec rest for 8 rounds (totals 4 min each exercise)

First exercise: Squat w/ shoulder press (15 pound dumbells) (8 rounds)
Second exercise: Dead lift w/bent over double arm row (15 #) (8 rounds)
Third exercise: side lunge alternating w/front shoulder raise (5 #) (8 rounds).
Fourth Exercise: Alternating front lunge w/side lateral bent arm shoulder raise (5#) (8 rounds)
Fifth exercise: Push ups first set on toes, next three sets on knees; last four rounds I flipped over on back and did leg raises with chest fly using 5 pound weights.

I was whipped by fifth exercise I couldnt finish the push ups.

This takes about 20 minutes depending on how long you take break between each exercise.

Off to the showers.
