My workout was Pure Strength Back, Biceps & Abs. I'll be feeling my biceps tomorrow, I'm pretty sure.

Good morning Sandra and all that follow...

DD is going back to school this morning after her illness, she is feeling 110% better (she is teaching summer school this summer).

Yesterday was PUB and BBW. I am have DOMS upper and lower but it feels good!

Today is KPC.

Have a wonderful day! It is HOT HOT HOT here in NC!!! 96 today!
 
Phyllis... that is the high for today.... it was 95 yesterday so we are really in a heat wave. It is already 70 at 6 a.m.
 
Hey girls,

Today will be lowmax and ME upperbody split. I will do as far as I can on lowmax.

Jane-Glad your dd is going back to work.

Sandra-I will have to break out the PS strength workouts. And yes you will be feeling the biceps!

Phyllis-It will be another scorcher here today also. Yikes! That is why my energy is so low.

Good Morning Fitties!

Another hot one here too Jane. 90's and SCORCHIN' with the humidity so high!!!

Yesterday was YogaX , AbRipperX and a 50 min. walk.

Today, again I am indecisive. I'm thinking about just putting a few step workouts together for my own mish-mosh.
Will see what happens.
I hate when I get in an exercise funk like this. Can't decide what I feel like doing and don't get into anything I pick 100% .:(

Oh well...off to choose something.

Daily Check-in

Good morning! All your sweet messages warmed my heart yesterday. There was a ladybug on my front door too. That always makes me smile. :)

I had an asthma reaction and started itching all over yesterday. Everything was itching from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. That always happens when I have an allergic reaction to food. Apparently, I ate something with MSG or soy in it. At least I know what the problem is now.

My friend treated me to dinner last night. I chose Cotton Patch, which is a Texas restaurant. I ordered the garden patch salad with grilled chicken and dressing on the side. I only ate a few bites of the chicken, but I really enjoyed the veggies (especially the cucumbers). It is amazing how good living food makes me feel. I need to focus on fruits and veggies for a few days. Of course, I will drink plenty of spring water to flush this stuff out.

Conni, I love my dancy hi-lo workouts too much to give them up completely. I just need to plan a solid rotation and add them to the mix just for fun. Without a plan, I have a tendency to do nothing but cardio. Have fun on your vacation. I will be praying for you.

Hey ladies,

Back and done with Lowmax 1-4,and noticed something about combo 2. She did the combo and never did the blast. I thought I was going crazy! Has anyone noticed this on their dvd? Maybe mine is a defect.

Will probably do ME upper later today. Now off to eat breakfast.

Kim: What a fantastic combination...I don't recall my DVD skipping the 2nd blast.

I'm back after my stepping mish-mosh.

I ended up doing lowmax step only 1,2,3,6,7 and then the step portion of Bodymax. I've always found bodymax step very challenging for some reason. She seems to step FAST to me.....don't know if that's true?? I did LM on an 8" but lowered it to 6" for BM and STILL it was tough for me. But I'm glad I did it.... and feel good and VERY sweaty!!!

Morning all!

I decided to rest today. I seem to be needing a break every sixth day lately. Oh well, guess that's what my body needs. I did a 3.5M walk last night. Don't know why I enjoy walking so much, but I love being outside in the sun and talking in the sights. It's nice to have the fresh air too.

Heather - glad you're feeling brighter today. Good food choices always make me feel more motivated, too.

Morning ladies. I decided to make today my rest day rather than tomorrow. I'm trying to do a better job of listening to my body and last night it was telling me that it was TIRED!

I did LL warm up, PLB floorwork, MIS abs and the 8 min. taebo for a little cardio.

Ladies I got a burst of enery so instead of ME upper I decided to do Bootcamp cardio and upper body. I thought maybe I should get some extra cardio in.

Just finished KPC at 8 p.m. This has been a stressful stressful day. Connectivity problems with my work computer.... just awful. I had to work to make up time I'd lost. We get paid for the downtime but our backlog is so great I needed to make up the time also. This threw everything late. On top of that we had one barn-burner of a storm complete with hail and 60 mph wind gusts. OMG... I thought the house was coming down around me!!

Anyway, I averted disaster... I pulled out the tortilla chips, ate one and thought what the crap am I doing, I just got back on track. I put the bag away, ate a healthy supper and worked out. I am now ready to shower and go to to bed!!!

Sorry for the rant!! See you in the morning.
 
Good for you Jane!
I am so proud of myself. I went for my usual 3 mile run, but this time I only stopped half way for 30 seconds for a quick calf stretch. They were tight from the hills. I felt like I could have gone more, but it was starting to get dark.
I then did 50 walking lunges. Had to stop there so I could water the flowers.
Anyway, I feel great!!
