Okay! So, who's going to report that they did Day One of Cathe's June Rotation? }(

Tonight I did GS Legs. This is my third week in a row of doing the Gym Styles, and Cathe was right when she said that the body acclimates quickly. I don't have much by way of DOMS anymore, and tonight even the slow motion lunges didn't feel 100% tortorous (only 80% LOL!). I'm going to do one more week of the Gym Styles, then move on to something different.

Wendy - so, have you actually done an outdoor run yet? If so, how did it go?

Good morning Sandra and all that follow....

I was planning on a circuit today, but the June rotation caught my attention. I may do today's w/o and see how I can do as the month goes on. Following rotation at this time of year with all the outside work that has to be done may be difficult. I may give it a try though. Will report later this evening on what I decided.

Good Morning Fit Chics!:)

Well I was feeling sooo much better from when my shoulder/neck/back was hurting me. It was only causing discomfort in a couple of certain positions and I was confident that it was on it's way out. I slept great last night as I wasn't waking up from pain every time I wanted to roll over and everything and then the bottom fell out...one stretch in what I guess what the "wrong" direction and WHAMMO! OMG, the pain! It has calmed down some since I did it and I took 2 motrin IMMEDIATELY! Hopefully they will kick in as nicely as they did when this first started. I was not going to the doc b/c I figured I didn't need to since I was feeling better but I gotta wonder if now this is just gonna keep happening??? UGH-I guess I need to call...x( (Sorry for rambling on!!!)

I had my own Low Max circuit I created last night on tap for today...I was going to do the step only premix and put one exercise for each body part in between the step segments...regular squats, plie sqats, lunges, push ups, single arm rows, bicep curls and tricep kickbacks. That WAS my plan! LOL

Sandra...I ran outside for the first time on Friday and OMG! I am up to a 3.5 miles steady state run on the TM and tried to run 2 miles outside and about died! LOL I had to run for 6 minutes and walk for 1. I couldn't believe the difference! My legs felt like lead weights that were going to explode w/in the first 5 minutes. I obviously need to get used to this!:eek: I plan to get out there again this weekend if at all possible...

Jane...Can your yard work be considered cardio? I know lawn-max certainly is but is there anything else? Maybe you can get creative and just do the weight work if you have a lot of yard stuff to do that will get you a cardio work out.:+

Phyllis...Imax Extreme is a killer! I only did it 2 times and the first time I didn't make it all the way through.}(

Hey Ladies,

Sounds like everyone has good WO. Wendy, yours sounds good too, just hope you get your shoulder straightened out so you can enjoy it! Isn't weird the difference from the treadmill adn outside!! I do like outside better, even though it is harder. Feels like I accomplished more seeing the changing scenery!

I didn't get to WO yesterday (sucks), just to busy with bday boy which was alot of fun. So I am planning on doubling up to stay on track with my rotation. Imax2 and PH. I will probably do PH tonight. We will see how much time I have at kiddie nap time!!

Daily Check-in

Good morning! I am running late, so this will be a quick check-in for me again. I did Timesaver 3 this morning. Cathe’s June rotation looks like something I would love, but it will not work with my schedule this month. It is a keeper for the future. I love lower body workouts.

Hi everyone,

I am also on the fence with the June rotation. I think it would be beneficial, but I know I don't have the time to do everything that she has listed every day. I am going to really look at it and see how I could modify, then go from there. If I do go for it I am not starting until Monday.

Today was Cardio Collectibles warm up, hi/lo and cool down, ab hits and stretchmax 3.

Morning ladies. Today was a 40 minute run and it felt WONDERFUL!!! This is actually only the 2nd time I've run 4 miles and it was so muhc easier this time than last. I'm going for 5 miles next!

I am thinking about doing the June rotation too. Since I couldn't decide today I rode the stationary bike for an hour.
Will fit abs in later but gotta run some errands now.

I am still so sore from the Gs legs. I did manage a 4 mile run yesterday and my gs upper body, but I am not sure what I am doing today. I may just do step works or rhythmic step. I also could take a rest day, but my eating has not been great so I will probably do something. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the sunshine.

Today was lower body day so I did the Billy's Lower Body Boot Camp with ankle weights on. Made it through the whole workout too, despite the heat and humidity. It also included some ab work.

Today I did Circuit Max and Core Max #1. I looked at my calendar and was shocked that I haven't done UB since May 20th. I certainly could tell when those weights felt double their size!!

Wendy - LawnMax is usually pushmowing which definitely counts as cardio. If DH isn't home to help, it takes me about 2 hours 15 minutes. That will have to be cardio and any weight work for that day... LOL!! We are baling hay on June 9th, I'm working that day but when I get off work, I'll be lifting hay bales, definitely weight work!! DH goes back to the doctor that morning and is suppose to get released back to full duty at work but I'm a little worried about him throwing those heavy hay bales.

I decided I am going to follow the June rotation and on the days when other duties get in the way, I'll have to modify. I'm starting the rotation Monday. Those double w/o's are going to have to fall on Saturday for me to get them done!

Today is a rest day, not entirely by choice. I had to be in work extra early and I'm afraid I draw the line at getting up before 5 to workout. I had hoped to get a walk in tonight but a thunderstorm is rolling in. Oh well, I'm off tomorrow so I'm aiming for a double work out.

Wendy - please get that shoulder checked out.

Question to everyone - how much time do you all work out each day? I aim for at least an hour, but I sometimes feel like I'm a slacker when I read how much you do. Also, how long have you been working out with or without Cathe?

Got my WO in. Imax 2 and PH upper boody only. Didn't think my legs could handle any more after Imax!
Judy, it is almost hay season here too!! Can't say I am looking foward to it though!!! But, it isn't so bad since we are down to two horses right now.
Gymmom-- definately atleast an hour. Like to go a little more if time permitts, but it isn't often with 2 little kids!! I have been exercising (starting w/ Denise Austin) for 1.5 years. Started Cathe after Christmas this year, and haven't worked out with any one else since!!!
