No workout my shoulder blade is killing me, so I have been resting and applying heat , sigh. Can't win.

Really brutally cold wind chill outside.

Hi Annette.. I was just about to start a thread. Thank you. I’m sorry about your shoulder. Mine are feeling funny too. Yesterday it felt like tiny knives were randomly poking my shoulders and deltoids. We are getting hammered with snow and wind. Then the temp is going to drop for the next few days into single digits. Ah, the northeast!!

Today I did Fit Split Low Impact Cardio with Metabolic conditioning, staying away from all upper body stuff.

Because of the storm, I’m home thankfully!! I’m finishing putting away the Christmas decorations. Have a great day everyone. Stay safe and warm.
 
Hey Annette & Peg, hope your shoulders will be feeling better soon ! I have trouble with my neck/shoulders as well, haven't been able to
pin-point what it is I do to bring it on.....Tonight I did the premix off of the Push Day dvd, I did the one with 2 sets of everything. I liked it,
about 22-23 min I think. As you can well guess, I have been in the "blender lab" mixing away !!!! :) I have blended about 7 new ones, !!
but I have been prepared to put them together after previewing the dvds, etc. It is bitterly cold here, I hope it soon lets up....me & Coco have
about had enough!!!! A big hello to Elsie, Henriette, Missy & Ceci, hope you all are well.

Peg, I had forgotten about the WAGS, but reading some of the threads here, they have been brought up again, did you say you got the Pro
and a size small? I figure we must be close in size, so small would probably be what I would get.

Linda, yes that’s what I got. I kept my old pair to use when I’m doing Bodyweight plus regular weights in the same workout . I actually used them today for the Low Impact Cardio with Metabolic conditioning. They lost some of their squish but are perfect for other workouts.

Sorry to hear about your shoulders.

Thursday I wanted to do FS pull day, no cardio as I had already walked my 10,000 steps and had limited time before I had to drive the big kids to basketball. First attempt I stopped after 4 minutes as Mick woke up and was all fussy.

After dinner (one of the first dinners without a fussy baby as the drive to and from basketball had put him to sleep) I had just enough time to do the Pull day before I had to pick up the boys... Magnus and a friend for a sleep over as it's still vacation time, no school just basketball trainings.

First impression, solid strength workout... I liked the new moves combining loops around wrists with weight work for upper body. I skipped the last exercise for Hamstrings as I had worked my legs on Wednesday and I was short on time, but the rest was all good. Super sets, giant sets and regular 3 sets... not quite pyramid as you change amount of reps without changing weights. Anyways... I liked it. I know some people were unhappy that the pull day did not have more leg work, but it suited my purpose.

During the day I had also worked on my binders with workout reviews and as much fun as it is... using colored pens and stencils and all that it is very time consuming. My excel sheets were more efficient to update and easier to actually use to select a certain type of workout fulfilling x,y and s criteria.

Just like with FS legs & glutes, I was already feeling my back, shoulders and bi's the same evening. Good stuff!

It's not super cold here... around 8-10 degrees Celsius, but that's fine with me. Only one day which was too windy for walks outside... mild temperatures are nice for long walks with the baby these last few weeks at home.

Annette .....so sorry about your shoulder pain. Hope you can find some relief from it. Shoulder problems can certainly impair getting things done. I know sometimes I get neck/arm issues and I cannot even hold things in my left hand. You are so active with your classes etc. Take easy care!

Peg, oh no! You are having a shoulder problem too & trouble sleeping. I'm so sorry!! ((hugs)) to you and be easy on yourself.

Linda, glad you are having fun with the blender and our new workouts! Woohoo!! Hope work & everything has been going well.

Henriette, wow! You got your workouts already? That's awesome. Still waiting here (in Canada) .....maybe the bomb cyclone storm in the East ate them!! Great workouts, getting kid's errands done and enjoying your walks! I don't blame you for wanting to have more time home. You really ought to petition your politicians for a more generous parental leave in NL. That''s how it came about here. Looks like the NL has a great balance of power between progressive parties in your Lower House, so I would definitely write to folks of the different parties. : )

Siobhan, great consistent workouts as usual!! Hope you had some nice downtime during the holidays. Haven't done Yvette in quite some time, but I recall doing a couple when she popped up on youtube. She's great and so energetic ..... I just thought the sound was a bit off as I could barely hear her. Do you have Fit Split in Ontario yet?

I haven't really slept for three nights, either. Booooo! At least it's not too cold here .....so I won't complain. lol. Everyone be well! I start a new volunteer position on Saturday and am super nervous!!
 
Hi all, another late entry. I did the new Mixed Impact Cardio last night. Short and intense. I didn't go all out, but it was a nice change of pace.
