Today's workout:

CoffeyFit Raw- "Run with Me" treadmill workout - 41 min. Of course, I'm not a runner, but this is a different
treadmill workout, it's tabata style, and you can either walk (which is what I do), jog or run (which is what
Kelly does). She even throws in a tabata round of standing pushups/squats on the treadmill to mix things up.
Really like it.

Hi ladies,

Today I made it to the gym for an 81 minute gym circuit consisting of 2 back machines(the multi hand positions one at 30 pounds on each side and the rear delt machine), then I did barbell bicep curls using the 20 for 12 reps, the 30 for 10 reps and the 40 for 5 reps. Then onto hammer curls with 20, 25 and 30 pound dumbbells. Then concentration curls with 15's I think, the hammer with a twist don't remember the weights. Curl up and reverse down with a 12.5 pound dumbbells. Wrist curls with 12.5.

Then I did cable lat pulldowns at 55 pounds. Then I moved to the elliptical for 15 minutes of cardio.

Then onto 3 leg machines, the new glute one and the inner and outer thigh machines, then I did floorwork for legs, and abs with a stretch.

Long but good workout.

I have decided to put legs in during my upper body because doing leg day alone or even with 1 body part was killing my legs. So since I didn't make it here for chest and triceps day I added an extra leg machine in today to make up for it.

My goal is 2 exercise machines for legs on the days I work 2 upper body muscle groups and 3-4 leg machines on the day I just work shoulders.

Can someone pray for my husband and myself? He is fed up with work wants retire but doesn't want to lose our great health insurance plus we don't have a lot of money in our retirement funds.

He is telling me that I need to get a job to cover Cobra retirement insurance since he is still a few years away from retirement age. I am 61 almost 62 years old and all my experience is years old and now requires certification to do (which I don't have). And a lot of what I have done in the past I have no desire to do it again. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Anyway, that's my mini rant/prayer request for the day.

Now back to your regularly scheduled workout.
 
Great 81 min. gym workout, Annette for back, biceps, a little legs, elliptical & floorwork.
I certainly will include you & hubby in my prayers….that would be a tough decision & I
am sure you would rather not have to enter the workforce…. insurance costs are so high & keeps on going up & up. Maybe he will change his mind….
 
Hi ladies;)

I did not workout today as planned. I don't think I could if I tried. It hurts to lift my arms out to my sides and biceps are so sore. I have a major case of DOMS. DH was sick and has a nasty head cold, and now I'm starting to get one too. I'm not sure I'll be able to workout tomorrow. I was supposed to lift weights and do Taebo, not if I'll be up to workout, we'll see.

back, biceps, a little legs, elliptical & floorwork - Awesome stuff WTG & high fives! Yes, I will certainly keep both you and your DH in my prayers, God always has a plan and will provide. He always does it in unexpected ways you won't see coming. Hang in there, I'm praying for you.
