Today , so far, I did a kickboxing workout off of the You Tube channel which was 49 minutes long. Very good. The instructor is Asian (I think ) not sure she was speaking English all the time. But the video had words to tell you what was next, and 2 misspelled words[emoji16].

But it worked up a great sweat and kept you moving, the background was a gym like room, with kids waiting on their mothers and several kids interrupting their mothers during the workout. But overall, very doable.

May go to the gym later.

Hi gals again, I went to the gym and did 47 minutes on the elliptical machine on Fat Burn starting at level 11. I managed to keep my pulse rate between 145-152 almost the entire time (this put me in the fitness zone /performance zone for my age) which I wasn't able to do on lower levels. So I was happy.

A gentleman approached me at the gym and complimented me on my progress . He said that he had watched me over time and was impressed. I thanked him, we talked a little about what I had been doing and I left.

Nice to be noticed for my effort.

Hi Annette and Siobhan. Good for you Annette, yes it really is nice to be noticed! How is your BIL? I hope everyone is coping with it all.

Siobhan I did Yvette today. I think it was called BOSU HiiT Bodyweight Cardio. It was really nice but now my wrist hurts even though I was wearing my WAGS. It was probably something I did wrong and not the Bodyweight work. Still love her.

Linda did you get your WAGS yet? I miss your QOTD.

Peg, my bil will be moved out of ICU today, then they will move him to another hospital (one that is in their insurance group) and will have surgery when he is stronger (couple of weeks) to clear his carotid artery.

Thursday I had pencilled in my calendar that it was UB day, despite my back and chest still being a bit sore, but then my replacement DVDs arrived. The two that were broken from Cathe's Black Friday sales, so I couldn't help myself... I wanted to try Athletic Step. First time ever... at the start I felt like the cueing was later than I was used to from Cathe, but it improved. I did have to rewind a couple of times to get the steps. Anyways... despite my tired legs from leg day Wednesday I still enjoyed it and got a good sweat going.
