Today I went to the gym and did 52 minutes on the elliptical machine. Cranked up the level to 11 doing a random setting, still my heart rate is not going up to a fat burning level according to the charts at the gym.
So toward the end I cranked the level to 14 and still no real rise in heart rate. I mean if I go hard and really fast I can get my heart rate to 150 but as soon as I resume a regular rhythm it falls to 130. I don't get it,sigh.
Anyway then I did 22 minutes of moderate high rep weight work for chest, triceps and biceps. Did the leg press machine and floorwork abs and legs.
Back to the 40's today and misty rain.
