Good morning everyone!! It is with immense pleasure and relief that am finally able to start checking in with you all again! The doctor had me on bedrest for the last nine weeks due to a placental tear. I had an ultrasound yesterday that showed all is now back to normal and I have been given the go-ahead to resume my previous life. I was so excited about this last night that I had a terrible sleep! I just wanted morning to come so I could get up and do a workout!! I have missed my workouts sooo much, and had to stop reading the check-in because you all are so motivating that you were torturing me ;-)
So, this morning I did Basic Step! It felt rather awkward at first. Between the fact that I've hardly moved in 2 months, I am now half-way through a pregnancy, and I didn't have my morning cup of coffee (detoxed from that a few weeks ago), and haven't been up that early in weeks, this seemed the most appropriate workout to start with. It felt great to move! My lower back is thanking me effusively for giving it such a lovely stretch. I might work in a prenatal yoga session later on this afternoon.
Wendy - what accident?? I'm sorry, I didn't see you post about this. Is everything okay??
Everyone seems to be doing so well wrt your workouts!! I look forward to joining the general chatter again, and keeping better tabs on what's going on with my fellow Catheites.
