Hi Cathy, hope you feel better soon.

Did S&H/PUB/PS chest and triceps today (about 50min each) and will do a 6K temporun later this afternoon.

Started my new course today: Personnel Management aka HRM. Sofar, looks interesting. Three months till exam so no more stress as in the past few weeks.

Good Morning.

Could only muster up CTX kickbox last night w/o the weight or ab work. It was hot in NJ yesterday and the heat killed me. I was dragging pretty bad. :(

Dutchie-50 mins dedicated to working out only 2 body parts! You go, girl! I think I'd die if I tried to do that! :p lol

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was Chest & Back, and I had so much fun with it!

Today will be Shock Max: PUB, Core Max #3, 30 mins Aerobic and Clean Max.

Wendy- you won't be sweating this weekend....you will need to turn your heat back on. Calling for snow and rain here in Virginia...YIKES!

Cathy- thinking of you...hope you feel better soon.

Dutchie- you are so amazing as usual! WOW!

Tammy- now I got to go to Wal Mart this weekend and get more weights! I am a happy camper for sure!!! Unfortunately/Fortunately (can't choose), my tops are not fitting me as well anymore.

Hi, today is CM followed by either 60 minutes of elliptical or a step tape and 1 segment of SM. I will probably do a step tape since I havent stepped in 6 days and I am going through withdrawal.

Yesterday, I completed my workout as I had planned and I felt great.

Morning Everyone,

Well I should never plan a w/o on Gymnastics day! Never got done, and next week I start playing softball on Wed night. Guess we will have Wed as my rest days. :)

I am thinking of still doing the Imax3, but doing the warm-up then the blast and adding on GS Legs standing work only. And if I have time one segment of Core Max. We will see. DH gets home from his conference in Vegas today! :)

Wendy, I had a car accident when I was nine months along with my 2nd DD. I got a nice ride in an ambulance to the hospital. DD wasn't born until 2 weeks after that, but I did spend the night in the hospital because I was having those darn Braxton Hix contractions. Glad you are doing fine.

Hello to Everyone!!

Today it is sunny and beautiful outside!!! Yeah!!

Today:
I did 30 minutes of early morning (empty tummy) HIIT on my Elliptical with a 25/30 second split....later today will be an 1 1/2 hour of P90X Yoga. This morning I am going to do something different with my hair
color...low lights added in for some variation..I may be a new woman when I get home..LOL

This morning was GS Legs (standing portion), and some core work. Legs feeling very jello-y right now. Good thing I have a mostly desk job. :) When I walk, I look like a cowboy who's been on his horse too long. ;)
 
Good morning everyone!! It is with immense pleasure and relief that am finally able to start checking in with you all again! The doctor had me on bedrest for the last nine weeks due to a placental tear. I had an ultrasound yesterday that showed all is now back to normal and I have been given the go-ahead to resume my previous life. I was so excited about this last night that I had a terrible sleep! I just wanted morning to come so I could get up and do a workout!! I have missed my workouts sooo much, and had to stop reading the check-in because you all are so motivating that you were torturing me ;-)

So, this morning I did Basic Step! It felt rather awkward at first. Between the fact that I've hardly moved in 2 months, I am now half-way through a pregnancy, and I didn't have my morning cup of coffee (detoxed from that a few weeks ago), and haven't been up that early in weeks, this seemed the most appropriate workout to start with. It felt great to move! My lower back is thanking me effusively for giving it such a lovely stretch. I might work in a prenatal yoga session later on this afternoon.

Wendy - what accident?? I'm sorry, I didn't see you post about this. Is everything okay??

Everyone seems to be doing so well wrt your workouts!! I look forward to joining the general chatter again, and keeping better tabs on what's going on with my fellow Catheites.

It's really not so bad. I go really heavy on S&H, managed to up my weights for chest and am now doing bench press with 18 pounds (8.2KG) and flys with 13 pounds (6KG). When I'm finished I'm thinking I'll never be able to do PUB. But because PUB has a different count, it's doable. It's tough, but that's the whole point:) And it's the same for PS. It's a different count so its doable.

I only workout like that every 8-10 weeks. And no more then a week. Just to shock the old bod.

You should try it.

Good morning ladies....

Dutchie...wow...don't think I've evr worked my chest that hard....it is small enough at this point..:+ :7

I am doing MM Bi's tri's and lower body. Then abs and coremax 2 or 3. Plus a 5-6 mile run. I had a great interval run yesterday. Felt so good to pick up the pace a little...:)

Sandra, I'm so sorry you had the placental tear. That must have been a fright. How did it happen?

yes, and now I just have to look the part.....:) You couldn't tell I was working this hard when you would see me :) Muscle growth is an unknown thing to my body I think. Somebody should educate it, cause it isn't listening to me :+

Glad to hear that you enjoyed BS this morning! Must have been strange for you to do such an easy work out, huh? Don't worry...you'll be back up to par in no time! :D

Meanwhile, I am starting to wear out over here. lol My rest days are becoming more frequent and my work outs are becoming less intense...I would just like to keep moving even if it means going back to BS and other easier work outs myself for the last month. I just do my work outs depending on how I feel each day now...I can't plan ahead too much at this point.

As far as the accident goes...I got into a little fender bender on the way home from work the other night. Light impact that I hardly even felt and the baby has been acting "normal" since it happened so I never thought to get it checked out but I was given advice by some of the great ladies here to advise my doc anyhow so I called this morning to let him know. I am waiting for a phone call back. In my heart I TRULY feel that nothing is wrong but as the ladies said, just let him know to be sure so that is what I am doing.

Dutchie - you seem to use S&H in a lot of different ways - what kind of results do you get from that?? I just ordered the Slow and Heavy series bc I see alot of different ways to add that in........have you ever done just a Slow and Heavy rotation?

Everyone?? I am going to try the Tank top rotation starting in May, but it uses PS series and I will only have the Slow and heavy - can that be used as a substitute?? Has anyone used this rotation??

Today will be ME and 30 mins of cardio, and I teach a forty min. pilates class which is perfect bc I need to stretch and work my core today.......
 
Good morning, all -

Haven't worked out since Saturday. I've been in a funk all week. Laid up with a bad migraine for a couple days. I'm back at work but still feeling BLAH. Don't want to go to the doctor for fear of what he'll find out.

This morning my daughter woke me up with "Mom, Kim's dad died!" My daughter's best friend's dad had a doctor's appointment to check on chest pains and they immediately checked him into the hospital when they found a torn aorta. He died almost immediately after surgery about 2:30am this morning. I feel so terrible for this family. Two young girls, nicest man in the world, way too sudden.

Everybody go hug their loved ones today.
