DAILY CHECK IN Thursday 18 August

Good morning everyone!

Today was KPC plus KM blast challenge, PUB up only, L&G ankle weight work, and PUB abs. Took me about 2-2.5 hours. Goodness! I feel really good though. Warm all over. I think the longer my son sleeps, the more I have time to play around & do :7

Hi!

This morning I did Body Fusion. I'm really looking forward to the new dvds. If SNM is expecting them back from the Sony factory by the 20th (this weekend!), then it's reasonable to assume they'll be shipping next week, isn't it?

Katie - 25lbs for ME biceps?? Amazing job!!! Shelley will be pming you for tips! Did you find the RS choreography overly hard to learn?

Jane - the KM leg drills AND PLB stability ball work?? Oh My!! :eek: That would kill me.

Charlotte - your son and I share a birthday! Only I'm 20 years older than him. :p

Kristine - yes, tomorrow is another day. I'm not surprised you needed a break. The August rotation is really tough, with "No time for downtime!".

Terri - something I've always wanted to try with HSTA is to go to the premix menu and simply do these premixes in order: #1-5 & 8. This gives you the cardio 3 times, the weight work 2 times, and the stretch. Did you enjoy SB yesterday?

Sherry - enjoy your break and feel better soon!

Debbie - I'm impressed with your workout, but doubly impressed that your son slept for 2.5 hours! Nice!

Annette - keep us posted on those mammogram/ultrasound results!

Sandra, I don't think it was any more difficult than learning any new Cathe routine. If I were to try doing RS without ever having done a Cathe workout I would have been COMPLETELY lost!!! But, since a great majority of the steps she uses in it are one's I've already done in her other workouts it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I always hate learning a new workout though (don't get me wrong, I LOVE BUYING new workouts) because I can't get as much out of it when she always seems one step ahead of me.:7 I think once I get it down and maybe try it on an 8" step I'll really enjoy it!

Good Afternoon everyone

My workout for today is done. Here is my week's line up, since I haven't posted consistantly this week:

Monday- Bootcamp: Cardio/Lower Body pre mix twice through (with TM running for the cardio.)
*** This was MUCH tougher than doing BC as produced twice. There is hardly any time for heart rate recovery.

Tuesday- 400 walking lunges, PUB as produced

Wednesday- Low Max warm up & intervals 1-4.
*** this day was supposed to be cardio & LB but I was short for time.

Thursday- 30" bike interval workout ( my own spinning!) L&G ankle weight work only, abs from LL and stretch from LL.

Friday- short upper body ( BC upper body premix twice, 400 walking lunges and 30" yoga

Sat & Sun- optional extra cardio, stretching and/or abs.

Hi Fit Ladies,

I am late check in here, but I have been very busy, I did The bar method pilates last night and this morning the Gaunlet. I feel happy that I was able to workout with my busy schedule.

I'm excited to report that i did a step workout today!!! i did lowmax and upper body premix from ME and abs from HSC. it was fun!!!

now i have a super dirty house to clean and dogs to scrub, so i'm off!

Sandra that premix looks good I will have to try that! I didn't do The workout twice and I wish I had seen this before I worked out as I would have done it!

Hey all! I just got Kick, Punch, Cruch yesterday (and a couple of other videos) from a friend, so I'm going to give that one a try tonight after the little one goes down. I like the title, so hopefully I will like it!
 
I did the timesaver premixes off both GS C&T and BSB. About a 65 minute w/o with one warmup and one stretch. I actually started with 15# DB on the concentrated biceps curls but had to drop to 8#. I also used a 20# DB for bicep curls. I am a lot stronger today than when I did ME last Saturday. My upper body is pumped. I have a feeling I will having a sore upper body to match my sore lower body tomorrow!!!!

Still have to get in an ab w/o. I am thinking an ab session off the BB TimeSaver. I think there is a good stability ball ab w/o on one of those.
