Daily check-in Thursday 02/09

Hello, everybody! I am still doing my Timesaver rotation but I realize I am doing t in such a way as to not save time. I repeated the Timesaaver 3 (Step Blast) warm up ad cardio today becasue it's so much fun. I followed that with the TS 4 cardio (KPC intermediate and high intensity drills, used the warm up as a coold down and did shoulders, matching Cathe's weights and that was hard. Shelley, way to go on 30# for biceps! Only in my dreams....

Good late afternoon! Finally got to sit down at the computer! Yesterday I did GS Back, Shoulders and Legs. I really like the leg workout! The time just flew by. She has some nice new exercises. I like the toes-up deadlifts. Those slow motion lunges...what can I say??  The floorwork is terrific; my favourite of all her leg workouts, I think. I don't think my hips were more than a centimetre off the floor when doing those single leg roll-ins! Yowza! I'm feeling my calves and inner thighs today. I'll definitely be reaching for this workout often.

This morning I did GS Biceps, thereby finishing the whole GS series. Woohoo! I really like this series. Tonight, like a bunch of others are doing today, I will be doing Low Max (and unlike Wendy, I WON'T be adding half of IMAX2 on afterwards LOL!).

Cheers,
Sandra

LOL...I actually had to split it up due to time constraints...I did LM 1-4 + IMAX 2 6-10 all on 6" in the a/m and then I did the LM 4-7 premix in the p/m. Judging from how I felt doing IMAX 2 after only HALF of LM, I would be very scared to have had time for the whole thing!

When I did the LM premix in the afternoon I fully intended it be on 8" but my knee was complaining and when I dropped it to 6" it stopped.

Doing an LM premix on 6" just doesn't do it for me cardio wise like it used to! I guess I have gained some good cardio endurance! I am THRILLED with this!:+ :+ :+

Hello again,

I hope I'm not being too annoying, but I just had to post. After Yoga X (all 90 minutes) today, I decided to go for that run/walk. However, it ended up being a run/jog. I mean I did walk during warm up and cool down, but that's it. I can't believe I, Pamela, actually jogged/ran for 30 consecutive minutes!!!! Woohoo! I confess that as I neared minute 29 (my last run interval) I was beginning to feel winded, but I thought about how great it would be to be able to post here that I actually ran for 30 minutes straight, and I suddenly was able to pick up the pace. It's weird, but after I finish the runs, I'm not tired. I feel exhilirated, and I just want to move, dance even. Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble. My family is supportive, but when I talk about the running, they look at me like I'm crazy, and my MIL has even tried to talk me out of it because she thinks outdoor running is bad for the joints. (Apparently two of her coworkers started running and hurt their knees.)

Carole, I can't thank you enough for suggesting the specialty shop. These shoes (and probably the past several months of Cathe :))have made all the difference. Other than the slight soreness the comes with starting something new, I'm in no pain. Quite a difference from the last time I attempted to incorporate outdoor running into my routine.

Thanks everyone and good night!

Pamela

Congratulations Pamela! It feels so good when you can achieve a personal goal. Keep up the good work!
