How is everybody today? I enjoyed the SS run yesterday. Yes, I did watch the Food Network and, of course, there was Paula Deen with all of her butter and chocolate!

Back to work and school today. I definitely will have DOMS tomorrow from B&G leg blast! My quads were on fire! I followed it up with most of the stability ball abs. I ran out of time and wasn't able to finish it all.

Good Morning Girls!

It's back to work and school for DD & DH. Yesterday he drove all the way to work to be told they closed!

With all these snowdays, I haven't worked out since Tuesday and before THAT, it was last FRIDAY, so I need to get back on track!!!

I'm going to do a 45 minute bike ride since I can't do the run.

My eating has been horrible, and Jane, we LOVE Paula Deen. I have her cookbooks, watch her show and met one of her sons when we went to her resteraunt last year! But I have been avoiding Chocolate week bigtime!!:eek: ;(

It's -1 this morning but at least it's not snowing anymore!
Connie, our next accumulating snow is SATURDAY!!!!!!! blahh!
(don't forget tonight's Survivor ;) )

If I can get my car out of it's icey parking spot this morning :eek: I will be going to a kickbox or spin class at the gym this morning.

Hey everyone!

Never fear Becky, you will get back on track in no time!

We found out at 6:30 this morning that my DS had another snow day. We think that they cancelled because of the cold ( it is -15 with the wind chill ), but they couldn't figure that out until 6:30????
Whatever....

Oh yeah, I am ready for Survivor too!!!:7


Today was PH, nice change of pace and I really worked hard. I always feel so good after that one. I think that was my first Cathe weight workout, if I remember correctly.
 
Hey Phyllis - I wanted to mention that I used to get the worst doms from B & G, then I started stretching differently at the end. I add on more quad, hip and hamstring stretches instead of doing what Cathe does and lo and behold I have no more issues with the doms!

JMO...;-)

At the last minute they closed my DD's school too!
So it's another snow day at my house today.

I did get in a 45 min. bike ride. Now off to the shower!
 
Sorry I haven't been that faithful to the check in. I find that the kids are getting older and they always want to be on the computer now so it's harder to get my turn. DS did Drill Max with me last night, it actually didn't seem as bad as the first few times I did it maybe because I've been working out really hard the last couple of months. DS nicknamed it KillMax cause he swears Cathe is trying to kill him. lol Then I had to do a kid's workout video with dd after because she was jealous of the time I was spending with ds so I did Kari Anderson's "Shake" with her.

Today I will do my 45 min steady state run on the treadmill once the kids are at school. I work parttime so I'm off today and tomorrow.

Heather- Sounds like you're feeling better about things. Good luck with doing you cathe workouts in the evening.

Becky,Phyllis, Connie- Wow, to all that snow and ice you've had. I don't envy you all that shovelling. We haven't had the snow but have had just brutal cold the last few weeks. Every day below minus thirty we even a had a record breaking day of minus fifty eight. It looks like the cold snap is breaking and starting to warm up today will be minus eighteen. We never get snow days for the kids though because this is usual for us. Just the school buses get cancelled if colder than minus forty but the schools open just up to the parents to drive those kids. we only live a block away from the school so usually walk but I admit I've been driving the kids the last few weeks maybe we'll trying walking today.

Katie- Wow, you've been busy the past few months. Hope you enjoy you're rest day yesterday

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

LIC for me today. I only made it through the 4th DM drill yesterday in CardioFusion as I not only ran out of time, but energy as well. I think I've only managed to do CF all the way through once.

The snow finally stoppped around 10:00 last nite. I think there is at least 24" out there. My sons have another snow day. I am taking today and tomorrow off from work....ahhhh:7

Kim: Good job on the steady state run. Enjoy your days off from work.

Becky: I drove all the way to work yesterday to find the office closed too x(x(...I was so mad!

Conni: I can't wait to do PH in the rotation.

Tig: I hope you get your car out. Enjoy Yoga!

Phyllis: B&G is such a great leg workout.

Jane: I found BM#1 harder than BM#2 the other day...I was just sweatin' like crazy!

Annette: I hope you are feeling better with each new day.

I did manage to do the 8 min. taebo today but my lungs were screaming at the end so that will be it for today. I am feeling better but not 100% yet.

I ended up doing Cardio X and a segment of StretchMax tonight.

I didn't want to do yoga because I legs are still pretty fried with DOMS from the other day. I intend to do it Sunday though along with the run I am missing this week! }(

I couldn't get my car out of the ice this morning to get to the gym which is why I ended up working out at home and Cardio X was chosen because I have not been feeling too great all day so I didn't want to push it...I had a pretty nasty headache up until early evening....ACK!

I feel great now though!:)

Tig: The workout room was done just about two years ago...I LOVE IT!!!! We are thinking about moving, but I hate to think about giving up my *space*!
