Daily Check-in Thurs 12-21

Good morning!

I didn't get my workout in yesterday due... see yesterday's post. I have my work Christmas party today and will only work until 12 today. Hopefully will get back to business today and catch up on my rotation, just one day off.

Today is my daughter's 24th birthday!! She wont' be 24 until 11 minutes til midnight, the little rascal had me in labor all day!

Jane, Sorry about all of the recent monkey-wrenches in your work out plans. I know how frustrating that can be. Hope you have fun at your company party today!

I have a long run on tap at the gym today. I am also hoping to do some extra stretching and/or yoga later.

Jane - I hope you can get back on track with your schedule, I know that can be irritating! Happy B' day to your daughter, as well.

Today was LM on an 8 inch step, and it didn't feel too bad! I was somewhat surprised and very happy! I also did the ab section from LIC. Have a great day!
 
I did Cardio Camps' kickbox premix today then ran out to another appointment. (this is a Kimberly Spreen workout), so far this week I have managed to do somebody different each day. Goes to say a lot for variety.
 
I ran 5.91 miles today on the TM. I have a goal of running 6 miles in 60 mins. I'm getting closer. The last time I ran 5.75 in 60!

The outdoor running is sparse right now, I must admit. I meet my friend at the park when she's available but that's not very often lately. It's hard to motivate myself to get out there alone these days as well as harder to find the time to do it. The gym is easier in both of those regards. I haven't given up the outdoor runs though...just taking a break from it. I'm sure once spring comes I'll be back out there...atleast every weekend. Heck, I HAVE to be. My goal is to run a half marathon in the fall of 2007! :)
 
Daily Check-in

This is a late check-in for me. I was too tired to check-in this morning. I jogged on my rebounder and did Slow and Heavy Triceps and Biceps, but I have to confess that I caught myself going through the motions. My focus was not all that great this morning. I have been tired all week. This was another super stressful day at work too.

Thankfully, I had a good day and received some surprises. My Cathe calendar arrived in the mail! :7 I love it! The inspiring note is a nice personal touch. The photos are beautiful. I am glad to see the Kick Max picture in January. It is one of my favorite workouts, and the picture is a great visual inspiration for the start of a new year! I am totally inspired and ready to commit and get fit in 2007. :7

When I returned to the office, the UPS man delivered my package from Cathe with the Gym Styles as well as Body Fusion and High Step Circuit. :) I am previewing the Body Fusion DVD now. I wish I had this one when I started my journey at 260 pounds or even when I started training with Cathe. She is so cute in this workout. This will be perfect for introducing my overweight friends to Cathe. I also received a Christmas present in the mail at work. :) This must have been my day for deliveries!

My cycle finally started tonight. The cravings will decrease soon, and the bloat will depart. I need to endure one more day of stress at work this week. I am looking forward to a long and restful weekend.

Tomorrow is fun cardio Friday! :7
