Good morning!

Today is BC!

I did GSL yesterday and BC is on the rotation today. I'm mixing up the workouts this week on the rotation because PUB on Sun and DM on Tuesday left my upper body so sore I could barely lift my arms (funny how that happens sometimes and sometimes it don't)... anyway I wanted a few days before I plunged back into GS UB.

Have a good one!

Good Morning Jane, Phyllis and all who follow.

I have a spin class this morning and yoga x this afternoon.

Shoulders and Arms y'day was fantastic. I upped my weights on 2 exercises and was just feeling really strong. :)

Have a great day.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

BSB for me today:7....I'm looking forward to this after CardioFusion nearly killed me yesterday:eek: !

Jane: I've had tricep DOMS all week...it makes washing your hair painful!

Phyllis: We're almost through the January rotation....YAY!

Tig: Good work!

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was a 45 minute bike ride (inside, of course!;) )

Today I need to do abs and upperbody. Haven't chosen my workout yet.

It's so cold and flurrying again this morning but school is starting on time!

Heather , I meant to say the other day, I like Bengal Spice tea too (afterall , I'm in Ohio.....home of the Bengals! ha), but now I'm getting REALLY spoiled since Jane intoduced me to her teas! OMG talk about YUMMY!
I also love Bigelow Spiced Vanilla Chia tea for mornings and Peppermint or Cammomile for bedtime. Can I ask you once more where you got your light (for light therapy)? I need to do a search and wrote down what you told me but have long since lost the little piece of paper! Thanks!

Happy day everyone! Dh is off tomorrow, so this is like Friday for me!:7 :7

Good morning everyone,

BSB today and the abs from B & G. Both felt really good, I am planning CF tomorrow, then B & G Saturday ( I am getting tired of the HCs in this rotation!).

Becky - Hey, watch the bengal talk, I am close to Cleveland! Snowing to beat the band up here, and it is only supposed to get worse. I really hate winter...sigh...

Hey Connie,

But do the BROWNS have their own tea???:p
Hahaha, just kidding!
I'm not even a big football fan!

I hate winter too! Am sick of the cold and snow and ready for SUMMER!!!
Let's all head to Florida!!!:D

I just finished a yoga/pilates/tai chi workout from FitTv. Was really good for me today. Might do some additional abs later.

Alright Becky, you got me with the tea-thing!

Heck, we don't even have much of a football team, much less beverages named for us!:7

Hi all,

I did CTX 10-10-10 cardio only and the 8 min. taebo for a longer workout.

For some reason I can't bring myself to do weights, I need to finish up my upper body workout but I just don't wanna!! WAHHHHH;( I don't know what is wrong with me lately. I am doing cardio only and while that is good I probably need to still do weights some. Maybe it is because my shoulder was hurting a few weeks back and I took a break from weights to rest it and when I started back leaving out shoulders, it still hurt doing chest and triceps. I may be subconsciously afraid of hurting it again. sigh.

I did do biceps and triceps this week so that is something.

Thanks for listening.

Daily Check-in

This was a delightful day. After my quiet time, I enjoyed Step, Jump, & Pump. I love this workout. It is so much fun with plenty of variety. The step segment contains some of my favorite choreography. I love the way Cathe constantly changes the routine. There is never a dull moment. The power jigs make me super happy. I smile during the whole workout! I am a hi-lo lover too, and this workout features some of Cathe’s best floor aerobics. I adore all the pivots and turns. I love the music too as well as the bright colors of the outfits. There is nothing I would change about this workout.

My knees were a little sore this morning. Step Blast definitely took a toll. I love the blast challenge with no breakdown. I like the music in the challenge too. That is my favorite part of the workout, so I need to stick with it as an express workout until I get closer to my goal weight. I can handle one combination at a time in a Timesaver rotation, but Step Blast as a whole is not as joint friendly as Cathe’s other workouts. The double ricochets could be the problem.

The weather was beautiful today. It was warm and sunny. I am so thankful for the welcome relief from the winter weather of last week.

I went to the club tonight and jogged in the pool with Rebecca. I am loving and looking forward to my water workouts. The warm water is soothing and restorative, and I feel so peaceful when I step out of that pool. It is a nice time for me to meditate and pray when I am alone or visit with Rebecca when she joins me.

Today was a circuit training day fueled by plenty of carbs with a little extra protein:

Breakfast: steel-cut oatmeal (steamed), natural peanut butter, raw honey, organic banana

Snack: organic raw almonds, organic raisins

Lunch: potato (baked), cottage cheese, cucumber slices in raw vinegar

Snack: cottage cheese, pineapple

Dinner: romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, cucumber slices, organic egg (boiled), homemade honey mustard dressing (raw honey and yellow mustard), ak-mak whole wheat crackers, navel orange

It is time for me to settle down and get ready for bed. Tomorrow is Friday!

Becky, I bought an Apollo Health SunTouch Ionzier light box from Amazon. I found the best deal there.

Blessings,
Heather B.
