Daily Check-in
This was a delightful day. After my quiet time, I enjoyed Step, Jump, & Pump. I love this workout. It is so much fun with plenty of variety. The step segment contains some of my favorite choreography. I love the way Cathe constantly changes the routine. There is never a dull moment. The power jigs make me super happy. I smile during the whole workout! I am a hi-lo lover too, and this workout features some of Cathe’s best floor aerobics. I adore all the pivots and turns. I love the music too as well as the bright colors of the outfits. There is nothing I would change about this workout.
My knees were a little sore this morning. Step Blast definitely took a toll. I love the blast challenge with no breakdown. I like the music in the challenge too. That is my favorite part of the workout, so I need to stick with it as an express workout until I get closer to my goal weight. I can handle one combination at a time in a Timesaver rotation, but Step Blast as a whole is not as joint friendly as Cathe’s other workouts. The double ricochets could be the problem.
The weather was beautiful today. It was warm and sunny. I am so thankful for the welcome relief from the winter weather of last week.
I went to the club tonight and jogged in the pool with Rebecca. I am loving and looking forward to my water workouts. The warm water is soothing and restorative, and I feel so peaceful when I step out of that pool. It is a nice time for me to meditate and pray when I am alone or visit with Rebecca when she joins me.
Today was a circuit training day fueled by plenty of carbs with a little extra protein:
Breakfast: steel-cut oatmeal (steamed), natural peanut butter, raw honey, organic banana
Snack: organic raw almonds, organic raisins
Lunch: potato (baked), cottage cheese, cucumber slices in raw vinegar
Snack: cottage cheese, pineapple
Dinner: romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, cucumber slices, organic egg (boiled), homemade honey mustard dressing (raw honey and yellow mustard), ak-mak whole wheat crackers, navel orange
It is time for me to settle down and get ready for bed. Tomorrow is Friday!
Becky, I bought an Apollo Health SunTouch Ionzier light box from Amazon. I found the best deal there.
Blessings,
Heather B.
