Daily Check-In Thanksgiving Day 11-23

Good morning fitness buddies....

I started week #4 of the Nov rotation yesterday. I decided to do week #4 off the 5-week rotation instead of the 4-week so I could do IMAX2!!

Sooo.... yesterday was IMAX2 and today is premix #1 of LIC which is the cardio blast timesaver and premix #3 off BM2 which is the double upper body... I'll probably have to split these up. This is a bit unusual on this rotation to have 2-hour workout (???) LIC premix is 48 min and the BM2 premix is 72 minutes!

Today is BM2 omitting the lower body weight work. I am still sore from that B&G premix and have my race tomorrow so I think skipping it is wise. :)

Happy Thanksgiving! :) I am ready for Cathe’s gobble gobble until I wobble wobble workout! ;-) Just kidding! :7 In keeping with the food theme, I am planning to do the Body Max 2 scrambled eggs premix for the first time this morning. I am hoping to burn a bunch of calories with this one so I can enjoy more pumpkin cheesecake today. :9

Jane, you could just do the regular upper body segment from Body Max 2 or substitute the Low Impact Circuit upper body sculpt premix instead. You could also skip the Low Impact Circuit stretch and Body Max 2 warm-up to shorten the workout time.

Wendy, I did the Body Max 2 cardio and weights premix the morning after the Butts and Guts leg blast premix because my butt was still sore. This premix is formatted like the original Cardio and Weights. There is no lower body weight work in it. Cathe alternates cardio with upper body weight work and wraps up the workout with ab and core work and a nice stretch. It is a little less intense too, which might be good since your race is tomorrow.

Cathe is waiting for me. :7 It is time to start burning calories and finish cooking. Happy Thanksgiving to all my check-in friends! :) I am thankful to be blessed with so many encouragers and cheerleaders. This fitness journey is hard. It is a tremendous blessing to have such delightful company along the way. :)

Wendy... LOL.. I know!! I usually get myself into fixes! LOL...

Heather... I wasn't thinking after the LIC premix, so I did the stretch but did skip the BM2 warm up. I did the LIC premix as produced 48 minutes and the BM2 Double UB came in right at 64 without the warmup.... I think I'm ready for Thanksgiving!!!

BM2 as written for me today. I thought about scrambled eggs, but I want to get some upper body work.

I'm doing the 90 minute pre-mix of SB/SJP....this workout is my Thanksgiving morning tradition.......EGADS!

Mercy! It is official. My beloved Cathe is trying to kill me this week! :eek: First the Butts and Guts leg blast premix, and now this! I just finished the Body Max 2 scrambled eggs premix, and my eggs are definitely scrambled. It is a good thing because I am extremely hungry after this workout. Be sure to have a big water bottle by your side when you attempt this one. I drank 32 ounces of water and really needed to take a break and refill my water bottle! For a pure cardio challenge, this cardio premix is tougher than any of the Terminator or Hardcore Extreme workouts. I need to work on my endurance. Whew! It was not my best performance by far, but I kept pressing on until I reached the finish line. The soothing stretch was my reward.

Pass the turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin cheesecake please! :9 I need to go find something to eat for breakfast because I will pass out before noon if I do not refuel. Time to cook and eat! :)

Jane, I don't know how you have the time for that long of a workout, especially today. I barely got mine in. I did BM2 Bootcamp ( 78 minutes ). Great workout! I really think I will use these premixes more often than the actual workout, I just can't do 90 minutes most of the time!
