Good morning!!

I slept until 8:15 this morning and went to bed about 9:30!! I think I'm caught up.

Today's workout is Body Fusion and I don't have that one so I'm going a premix from SB/SJP that follows the same format at Body Fusion. It is the Step and Wt circuit (the one that is 61 minutes).... that one has the SB challenge and I want that one. The 68 minute one has all three SB combos alternating with SJP wts in case anyone in interested in making a note of that. The one I'm doing has combos 1 and 2 and the challenge alternting with SJP wts.

Off to start a busy day... have a good one!

ETA - Heather - I just read your post from last night... the cookies were in the gun safe until yesterday when DH got the box of Thin Mints out. He had eaten quite a few of them before I put them in there last weekend. There was about a sleeve left with a few cookies in the other sleeve. I had 6 Thin Mints yesterday and he ate the rest. That is better than a whole box and I enjoyed them. No guilt over that! Now the chow mein noodles I got into yesterday afternoon is another story!! I made my hot chicken salad yesterday (Becky - you made me want it after you said you had made it!!) and the chow mein noodles I had left after I'd topped my chicken salad somehow made their way into my mouth!! Needless to say the weight was up this morning from all the sodium but the measurements were the same.... lots and lots of water today!!!

Good morning Jane and all who follow,

I love those premixes off of SJP/SB! Personally I find SB to be very repetitious on its own, but I love using that cardio to mix up SJP. Good work, Jane!

Today I did Slim Series Mix it UP, as I am trying to incorporate more endurance hi rep workouts in my rotations now to get ready for summer.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Girls!

It's my rest day and I'm taking it !!

Just did a massive grocery shopping (over $200! - that is because of my grown DS who moved out but always makes it home at mealtime!!:p )

It's only in the 40's today, but this week each day warms up a little.

Tammy , continued positive thoughts for you & your mother.

Have a good one everybody!

Good morning right back atcha!

Jane, SB is a favorite of mine, especially the challenge. I love that it's called a challenge and not a blast. I guess it would be repetitive to call it the blast from step blast!

Conni, I'm thinking about summer too. I guess I'll step it up on the next rotation.

Becky, enjoy your rest day. Grocery shopping on the list for me today too!

Lori, so sorry for your loss. No need to apologize for not posting!!

Gals, I need some meal ideas, I'm trying to clean up my eating.

Hey gals.

Sundays are usually my rest days but I had to play catch up still so I did 30 mins of yoga. Week 10 of the X is complete! YEAY!}(

I went back and read all of yesterday's posts... Lori, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Good job Wendy!!! WOOHOO!!

Conni - I love the premixes on SB/SJP... some of the best she has come out with! I really had a good calorie burn with the one I did and SJP always hits the muscles good!

Off to refuel!

Good Afternoon Fit Chicks!

I did CC Press Play this morning. I really love that workout. My Mom is doing incredible. She continually amazes the doctors and nurses. Each and every day is better than the day before. God has been very kind to us and I know your prayers had a lot to do with her recovery. I can't tell you how much y'all mean to me. I truly hope we can all meet at the next road trip.

Jane: Great workout! I had a run-in with a bag of croutons yesterday so I'm floating in water weight with ya!

Conni: I love how the endurance hi rep workouts make me feel.

Becky: I hope you are enjoying your rest day. My grocery bill is always astronomical with all these hungry boys here.

Tig: Ohmmmmmm!

Phyllis: I just about live on grilled chicken and salads...BORING!!!! Yup! You're becoming the queen of premixes.

Heather: No typo...18" of snow. Man oh man it was cold and blustery (love that word) here today. Congrats on the shoe purchase:7

Daily Check-in

I had another delightful day. My cycle still has not started, but I decided to rise above my PMS and have a great day anyway. It is amazing how powerfully a positive attitude can change how I feel.

I slept later than usual this morning. I woke up feeling energetic and decided to do a Cathe cardio workout after my quiet time. I wanted something fun and not too intense, so I chose Step Fit. It was perfect for today. Cathe is so cute and funny in this workout from her sheep comment to calling us Tootsie Pops, and I love the flying angels, power mambos, dancy cool-down, and soothing stretch. :7 This is definitely one of my happy workouts, and I am feeling the Cathe love again. :7 I looked radiant after my workout. My skin glowed! :)

I had to take my car to the shop to get a flat tire repaired and decided to do some spontaneous shopping while I was out. I desperately needed a new swimsuit because my old one is hopelessly stretched out of shape. The top does not have enough support anymore. I am not a big fan of brown, but I was drawn to a 2-piece set with brown shorts and a tank top with pink, lime green, brown, and white stripes. It reminded me of Cathe’s Stretch Max outfit. Brown is not one of my best colors, but I decided to try it on since the pink and lime green stripes would be close to my face. Wow! I stood there in total awe because this swimsuit made me look great. :7 The tank top has a V-neck that reveals a modest amount of cleavage, which is more than I usually show. Of course, that just draws attention away from my big butt! ;-) The swim shorts have a snap and zipper and are very stylish. They fit better than my other swim shorts. I tried on several in the same size because the pattern was a little different on each one. The first one I tried was the winner. The dominant stripe pattern falls right across the center of my chest. It makes my chest look larger and gives the illusion of an hourglass figure. The tops with that same stripe pattern across my hips made me look larger. Needless to say, I bought it on sale! A swimsuit that makes me feel beautiful when I am premenstrual and bloated is quite a find! :7

I needed new Ryka aqua shoes for my water jogging workouts, so I went to Academy and was delighted to find them on sale too. I also found coral and periwinkle workout tops on sale at Sports Authority. Coral and periwinkle are great colors on me. This was a very successful shopping weekend. :) I found everything I wanted, and the first thing I reached for was perfect every time. Everything I bought was on sale too. :)

I have one more week of fasting chocolate and cheese. I bought an organic dark chocolate bar today in anticipation! :9

I stopped by the grocery store tonight and picked up a few things. I am so happy tonight! I have so much energy and need to bounce on my rebounder to unwind before bedtime. :7 Have a blessed week!

Jane, I am glad you enjoyed the cookies!

Conni, Rhythmic Step is my favorite! I agree that Step Blast is a little more repetitive.

Becky, I am so glad I do not have to pay your grocery bill!

Phyllis, I am such a simple eater. I am not sure if my ideas would be helpful. I do not have a crock pot either. Whole wheat lasagna is yummy! Just take your favorite recipes and substitute whole wheat and other cleaner ingredients.

Wendy, you are kicking butt with your rotation.

Tammy, I cannot imagine a blustery day in March! Praise God for your mother’s recovery. I will keep praying fervently.

Blessings,
Heather B.
