Imax 3 for me today! It's a great workout, but I don't like doing it too often b/c it is so intense. There have been quite a few rotations with variations of Imax 3 and I get VERY tired. I find myself saying, Oh No, not Imax 3 AGAIN!

Fitmom, you must be exhausted after 9 days straight - but very proud of yourself. Wouldn't it be great if it was just 2nd nature to everyone to Wo every day? Would we have forums encouraging you to take a rest day? Just thinking with my fingers.

Good morning Phyllis and all who follow -

I'm really not too sure about today. This will be my 10th day in a row for cardio, and it's bugging my knees. I think I need to lay off the intensity a bit. So I think I'll pull something from my Charlene Prickett selection today. I also want to do Lean Legs, plus the floor segment from PLB.

It all depends on the knees though. We shall see!

Good morning Phyllis and all who follow

I agree on the intensity of Imax3!! The plie jack interval humbles me...:)

Tammy...yes I did get all 4 TLT's. I really liked BBBB yesterday. It amazes me how people come up with such different ways to work a muscle. I am going to try doing one TLT a week and see how that goes...:)

I'll be running around one of our lakes today. It is about 19.6 miles. I'll post later if I can drag my butt to the PC...:)

Have a great day...:)

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

This morning I will be attempting 90x: C/S/T and some form of cardio after that...don't know what yet.

Phyllis: IM#3 is a tough workout, but I feel so accomplished when I am finished!

Carole: I don't think I have heard any negatives about the TLT's. Enjoy your run today...it sounds lovely.

Shannon: LL + PLB floor section = OUCHIES!!!

Hello to all that follow...enjoy your Sunday!

Good Morning girls.

Well, after 9 straight days of exercise coming off being sick, I think I deserve a rest day! Wouldn't you all agree? ;)

I'll be back at it tomorrow though, starting week 2 of Debbie's Get Ready For Summer Rotation w/CTX U/B split plus abs from All Step and Power Hour.

Have a great day and I hope it's not raining where you are!:)

Hi Everyone!

Enjoy your rest day Wendy!!!

I'm due a rest day too and think today I'll do stretchmax and take a walk and that's it ! I'd have to go back and look to see the last day off I had but it's been over a week.

Yesterday I did SS & PP shoulders x2, SS&PP abs, a 45 minute power walk and cut the grass (an hour of pushing).

We had a blast at the Sock Hop last night and I ate a hamburger (with lettuce and tomatoes and mustard) , baked beans and a small sundae (strawberry ice cream and light whipped cream) No way to eat healthy there, but I did okay I guess.

I'm off to do SM now. Hope you all have a great day today!
:D

Good morning,

I haven't done it yet, but I plan to do High Step Challenge later on this morning. Friday I did Rhythmic Step, and Saturday I took a rest day. My legs were really feeling the GS Legs workout I did on Thursday. Does anyone else wish they had a set of those magically disappearing step risers that they use in RS? :-D Half way through the cool-down stretch they just suddenly disappear.

Phyllis - yup, IMAX3 is very, very intense! I feel that workout in my feet, unlike any other workout I do.

Shannon - is this the last day of your vacation?

Carole - thank you for posting the recipes you like from VP! I bookmarked them. I really like the Acorn Squash Supreme recipe in the Furhman book; have you tried it?

Tammy - What are your thoughts about Eat to Live?

Wendy - Have a great rest day!

Becky - You have a nice rest day, too!

Pamela - We are currently in the middle of packing ;( , but don't get possession of the house until May 3. We are going to move all our stuff on May 6. I can't wait!! We're moving from an old townhouse to a brand new 2-story house. Once we get settled, I'll probably be wanting to do a rotation again. I'll let you know!

Have a great day!
Sandra

Morning ladies. I haven't done my workout yet today because I couldn't get my butt out of bed. DH and I went to bed later than normal. When I put DD down for her nap I plan to do BC and maybe go for a short run. We'll see how hot it gets outside. It's been in the mid to upper 90's here.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie

Daily Check-in

Glory! My energy has been restored, and I feel good! If there is anything positive about not feeling good for a few days, it is the high that comes when my health is restored. After a 10-day break from Cathe’s workouts, I am delighted to report that it only took a week for my strength and endurance to return.

I did Rhythmic Step yesterday morning followed by the abs and planks from Power Hour. I went to a friend’s home yesterday morning and had her take pictures of me for the challenge. I wore black workout shorts and a black Nike tank top. Oh my. I have my work cut out for me! I took one look at the side views and decided that I need Butts and Guts now! My butt is huge, and I look pregnant. The pictures of me with my friends at the zoo earlier this month were on the same roll of film. I looked really pretty that day. :) At least I am looking better in jeans now. Workout clothes are another story.

Summary for Easter to 4th of July Challenge Week 1:

04-16-06 Cardio and Weights/Total Body Stretching 2
04-17-06 Cardio Kicks + Ab Hits (CTX Kickbox)/Total Body Stretching 2
04-18-06 Leaner Legs + cardio gliding (homemade circuit)/Total Body Stretching 2
04-19-06 IMAX2/Total Body Stretching 2
04-20-06 Boot Camp/Total Body Stretching 2
04-21-06 rest/rest
04-22-06 Rhythmic Step + Ab Hits (Power Hour)/Total Body Stretching 2

Week 2 of this challenge started for me this morning with Cardio and Weights. I am planning to change my workouts every 3 weeks while following the same rotation formula.

I have been watching video clips and pondering my next Cathe purchase. I have my rotation planned through Memorial Day weekend but need something new for June. I am thinking about the CTX Series or the Timesaver DVD. I am leaning toward the CTX Series on DVD but would love some input on this. I already have Leaner Legs and CTX Upper Body on VHS as well as the Ab Hits DVD. I would basically be getting this for the cardio. Is it worth it? I have the Body Blast Series on VHS, so I do not have access to premixes. Now that I am in this challenge, which do you think would give me better results in terms of fat loss? Which of these DVDs do you reach for more often? I love Cardio Kicks and Circuit Max if that helps. Based on the video clips I watched, the CTX workouts seem to be similar in terms of music and style. Of course, I love the Body Blast Series too!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement yesterday. Phyllis, this forum is a tremendous blessing to me.

Carole, how does Tracie’s workout compare to Jen’s Strength in Movement? How much cardio does it have? Which is your favorite?

Katie, where do you live that is so hot? I am in Texas, and summer has arrived for sure.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

I just finished High Step Challenge. I just love that "ma-ma-me-o" song that plays for the 4th (I think) cardio. The music in that workout is the best of the entire series, IMO.

I feel good now.

Will be starting FitnessFreak366 4wk.strengh rotation today. This is the only rotation I even came close to finishing so I will start it up again.

Workout will be Pub chest,PS chest and some sort of abs.

Sandra ~ I thought ETL contained some very good information that made A LOT of sense to me. I haven't followed the eating plan to the letter yet, although I have given up animal protein and dairy.

Are you following the diet outlined in the book? If so, what are your daily menus like?

Thanks!

Completed Pub chest, and PS chest this afternoon after washing my car and boy I am exhausted! Haven't done abs yet, that will come later on tonight.
