Daily Check-in Sun 3-25

Good morning!

I am feeling MIS today especially in my glutes and I have a feeling the rest of my body will join my glutes as the day progresses. That workout is overlooked a lot but it is tough and effective workout.

Today's workout calls for Cardio Kicks but I pulled out my P90X workouts last night and watched Kenpo X. I seriously considering doing it to add variety. I'm also going to begin to "bump" up the workouts where I can going into this last week of the workout to get ready for what I hope is a tough April rotation.

Wendy - I'll let you know if I'm crashing the party with you, that is if you don't mine me crashing your crashing party!:p :+

Hi Jane!

No one else is up early today...

I got up at 5. Not by choice, just couldn't sleep anymore.:-(

Yesterday was a very stressful day. I didn't get a workout in and did a lot of emotional eating.

Am hoping today to get back on target.

Today I need to do CM2 and TBS1.

Daily Check-in

Good morning, Jane and Becky! :) Happy Sunday! :) I did not get to sleep until 3:00 a.m. I am up early with cramps, but I am not complaining. At least my cycle finally started (Friday morning).

Jane, are you serious about crashing the party?! :7 I would love to meet you. Becky, what about you? You could bring Conni with you and Michele from Hatesville. :7

I think this morning will be a TLT workout for me. Then I will venture to Stepford for the week. ;-) LOL! :7

This is the 40th day of my cheese and chocolate fast. I have some Kozy Shack black forest pudding cups in the refrigerator, and there will be a chunk of Cabot extra sharp white cheddar cheese in there as soon as I get to the grocery store. :9

I have basically maintained my weight and size this month. It was an emotional month, my eating was not as clean as it could have been, and I was just plain tired. I discovered more about what I enjoy and what works for me in terms of workouts, and I will have a better game plan for my next rotation (unless Cathe plans something for April that calls my name).

Wendy, I am so excited! :7 When I visited the Adelphia website and saw the dancing, I thought of you. ;-)

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

This morning will be CC#6 (Candace's version) as I did Sean's (now there's a happy thought}( }( }( :* ) a few days ago. I'll also add on some ab work.

Jane: Hope you become a part of Wendy's "Cathe Crashers"...LOL!

Phyllis: My son is visiting a college today. I hope he likes it!

Becky: (((HUGS))) for you. I hope today is a better day.

Heather: My weight was all over the place this month. I had initially lost 5 lbs when my Mom was first hospitalized, but now I'm right back where I started. Oh well, at least we didn't go up, right?

Tig: Are you done with the "X" yet???

I'm anxious to see what rotation Cathe comes up with for April. I'll have to have a few backups incase I don't like what she posts.

B&G overall leg premix for me today. I have to get some java in me first.

It is be-eautiful here today. I walked the dog in just my sweatshirt - yes I had pants on too!! It's 60 degrees!

Wendy, I cant dance worth a plug nickel, but I'm willing to learn! :)

Becky, sorry about your sleep difficulty - hope its only temporary. What is TBS1? I'll take a guess at total body sculpting?

B&G overall legs are done! Just when you think it's over, Cathe repeats the segment with the ankle weights!

I bought a new mat yesterday that I love! It's about 1/2 in thick, very cushy and it's nice and long. Also, it grips better.

Good morning everyone,

Sorry so late, had church this morning, then I had to get online to get tickets for The Lion King, which is coming to Cleveland in August. Tickets went on sale this morning, and they were going like hotcakes! I got some though, so that will be a nice splurge for the family this summer.

Am I crashing a party?? I thought I saw my name somewhere on that issue..Let me know details, I am always up for festivities.

I also hope Cathe comes up with a real killer April rotation, I don't like "winging" it for a month!
Today was Jari Love's Slim n Lean. This is a new one for me, and for those of you who like PH, this is a good find. It was around $8.00 at DDD, and I liked it. Jari is informative but laid back, and it is definitely an endurance workout. Two thumbs up from this critic!:+

Today was beautiful.......83 degrees and sunny!

DH woke up and first thing asked if I wanted to walk to get the Sunday paper!!!! That's a 50 minute walk (including coming up Death hill on the way home:eek: ) We walked wearing shorts and tank tops at 8 am......I LOVE THIS!!!:D ;-)

Had a wonderful day in the sun, getting stuff done around the house and also relaxing. Just what I needed after yesterday!!!:D

I just finished Coremax2 and TBS 1 (total body stretching Phyllis)

Becky, I'm glad the day turned out well for you. We are having the same weather and I love it!

Kenpo X is done and that was my first time doing it. I really liked it. However, when previewing it, I do not agree with how he starts the w/o. IMO there is too much stretching without any warm up at all. I could just see me going into that runner's lunge and prayer twist with cold muscles. :eek:

I skipped that part and tacked it onto the end for an extended stretch after the workout. I feel the w/o progressed in such a way that the warm up was taken care of.

Tammy, Nope-not done with the X yet. Took a break from it because of the nasty cold I had. I plan to restart it tmrw. I left off in the middle of week 11!!!

Phyllis, I'm not a good dancing teacher but I'm always to willing to try if someone wants to learn!:D
 
Daily Check-in

Wow! I already checked in today. I so do not remember that! I am up to my butt in check-ins and cannot keep them straight! :eek: I am going for the title of Cathe check-in queen in case you are wondering. :7 My game plan is to join so many check-ins that I do not have time to overeat! ;-)

I was planning to do a workout first thing this morning, but I was sidelined with cramps from hell. Then my heating pad chose this day to die on me. I had to make an emergency run to the store to buy a new one.

I was a little concerned because airfare to Philadelphia has doubled since Cathe first stating talking about the Road Trip. No worries because I checked my account and figured out a way to fly first class on miles! I had to buy some miles to qualify, but it was still way cheaper than paying for plane tickets. This will be my first time to fly first class. I am excited! :7 I put my tickets on hold for a few days until the extra miles are credited to my account.

With the money I saved, I bought a pair of Asics Gel 1120 running shoes tonight. I went to Academy for walking shoes, but I ended up buying these instead. Walking shoes do not feel good on my feet. I tried on countless walking shoes and running shoes before settling on this pair. Wow! They feel amazing on my feet. They are so much cushier and more comfortable than my Nike Shox running shoes and cheaper too! The store stayed open 25 minutes after closing time just for me! Yes, I am a good customer. :7 LOL! Tammy, are you laughing at me? I was not planning to buy more shoes when I headed out tonight. I was just going to buy some cheese for tomorrow. My car suddenly turned into the Academy parking lot, and a new box of shoes was in my hot little hands before I know what hit me. :7

After my cramps settled down, I finally did Tracie Long’s Better Burn Better Buns. I love the stretches in this one. The medicine ball cardio is fun too, and my lower body felt good by the end of the hour. I am looking forward to Jen’s workout later this week.

The cheese and chocolate party starts in a few hours. :p Who wants to join me? ;-)
