Good morning everyone,

this morning I did Atletica 4 + Cathe Supersets (sans warm up and abs).

Ladies - I got a spiralizer for my bday. $39 will transform your salad eating life. You can use it for french fries etc.. but I love raw spaghetti noodles with homemade sauces like pesto, mayo honey lemon dressing etc... You can spiralize beets, cukes, carrots, zucchini, cabbage etc and have great new salads that are crunchy and raw! I look younger already.

Now onto my day....

Today was PUB, but couldn't do that one again so soon ( yawn) so I subbed MM upper body only with core and stretch.

Cleaning and taking DS to get a new club and then out to dinner for his b-day.
DH having another procedure Monday, nothing is working at this point, but your support is greatly appreciated.
 
Hi Conni,

Sorry to hear about your DH. Is it that the procedures are not taking his pain and discomfort away? Is he able to have an active lifestyle at all? go out, cook etc?

I am so sorry about your family's situation. You really seem to do a great job managing it all. Really.

Today I did Element Power Yoga with Ashley Turner. It's hard for me to do yoga for an hour. It's hard to stay mindful. Cathe's yoga relax is the best stretch/yoga dvd for me. I can't believe I didn't appreciate it at first.

Have a good day everyone. We had dinner with the neighbours last night (all the kids) and now tonight we are at friends for dinner. It's a loooooong weekend here. We didn't head to Ottawa (DH is from there) 'cos we have the dog!!!!! We will try to get away long weekend in August and we are on vacay in two weeks. yeah!

Hi ladies,

DH is pretty much confined to his bed, but does sit on the patio for brief periods during the day if able. He cannot sit at the table to have dinner, cannot drive or help with many things around the house. I have done a lot of learning in the last couple of years, doing things I never thought I would, but things around the house need to be done, and DS and I are doing them ( ie painting, grilling, minor repairs,etc).
DS and I went out last night and brought him something back from the restaurant, but it isn't the same.
The only time he leaves the house is to go to the doctor.
I don't see things changing, but I have to keep hoping.

Today was Tabatasize 1-5 and Core 1. I wanted to hit it hard because we have to be at the hospital at 615am tomorrow, so I will only be able to get in a short workout, probably yoga tomorrow morning.

Chores today, grilling out and going to the library maybe, nothing too wild.
