Daily Check In, Saturday August 11

Hi ladies.

Alright, now I know our numbers are depleted this weekend due to the RT, but let's step up here and show em all we still know how to work hard too!!

Today is MM on the rotation, I am looking forward to day without cardio. After my step workout yesterday, my DS and I went for a long bike ride in the afternoon. Great time and loads of fun!

Today will be some errands and then the pool for a swim with my DS and some time with my Harry Potter book!

I just got back from a 45 minute power walk in the neighborhood. FINALLY the heatwave or at least the humitidy-wave has broken! At least for a day. Tomorrow they are saying back up to 99 degrees!:p :eek:

I still want to do some upperbody weights, but I'm not sure what or when yet.

Roofing is underway , after a 2 hour delay waiting for the DEW (which we haven't had in months!) to dry up!!!!!

Connie have you seen the blog?? Cathe has done it again! Consider me SPEECHLESS!:eek: :p :7

I am reading Harry Potter too, but I am a whole book behind. I don't know how that happened, but somehow I never read the Half Blood Prince!:eek: :eek: So I am reading like mad trying to catch up! :D

Yesterday my workout ended up being a shopping workout!!:)

Becky glad the roofing is underway.

I have seen the blog and I too am speechless!! Cathe has outdone herself again. Once again I can't wait.;-)

I think today will be a circuit of some sort maybe LIC I do love that one!! Oh and laundry and then hoping to read my Womens Health mags, and my Jackie Collins book.

I did a 5 mile walk/run with my friend at the park this morning. I was prepared to run the whole 5 but she wanted to try out the run/walk concept since that is what we plan to do for the HM in November. We did a 5 min run/1 min walk intervals and it felt good. :)

I'll be heading down to see the RT'ers in a few hours...I'm so excited!!!!:7
 
Anybody miss me?!

After a week of nothing but heat and humidity and with that the NO desire to workout and you can't make me's I finally got a workout in today!!! :) YIPEE For me!!!!!:7 I did PUB up only premix and abs off of MIS, YEA!!!!!!!:p It felt good once I got started. I just couldn't work out this past week with all the heat we were having it was on one day 92 degrees IN the house, UGH!!!!!:eek: :eek: Soo needless to say working out was not high on my priority list.:-(

But hopefully next week will cool off and I will be able to workout again on a regular basis. And lose the 5 pounds I have put back on but that could be due to my cycle not starting and we are on day 48 right now, sigh so I am bloated too. Can't win.:-(
