Good Morning Ladies! Wake up!

Wow I'm 1st to post this morning?

Well where is everyone?

LOL

SJP is on tap for today Personals later on :)

Good morning Vilma and all that follow!!

I slept until 7 this morning! Of course, I didn't go to bed until 11 p.m. which I never see since I'm in the bed on weeknights at 8:30 or 9.

Conni - I'm so glad DH is waking up and responding. You've had such a hard road and the strength you've exhibited has been so inspiring. Your DH is so lucky to have you in his life.

Vilma - WOOHOO on closing in on that weight goal!!! I'll have to take a look at those Champion bras. I think they put out a good product but I've been buying Victoria Secret sports bras when they go on sale. Those are the best sports bras I've ever worn!

Tammy - our date still on for tomorrow? You said Michele is joining us right? I like the idea of dedicating the workout to her friend, Nancy. I'm exciting about doing CC PP for the first time!

Beavs/Patti - ohhh no... no double workouts for me!! I'll stick to the regular rotation. Double workouts would cut too much into my baby snuggling time!!:)

Annette - way to go on the weight loss... wow you are dropping it fast. How do you like your job so far?

Deb - enjoy your time off!! It sounds like you deserve it. Oh my, the in-laws timing isn't so good huh?

Off to get some things done. I do have a double w/o today, GSC&T and GSL because I didn't get to C&T last night due to going out to eat and running a lot of errands.

Later!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today is supposed to be a rest day, but I'll be doing iSculpt Ballet #13.

Vilma: I did SJP yesterday and it was so much fun...enjoy!

Jane: Yup! We are still on for tomorrow. Michele will be joining us too.

Conni: Thanks for the update on your DH. It sounds as if things are going in the right direction. I'm nearing the two month mark with my Mom, and we probably have another 6 weeks to go.

The weather here today is gorgeous. Have a GREAT one, whatever it is you decide to do.

Daily Check-in

Good morning! The weekend has finally arrived! I am happy, happy, happy! I had an extremely stressful week at work and was too tired to check-in most nights. I did Cardio Kicks Wednesday morning, Drill Max Thursday morning, and Stretch Max yesterday morning. I am planning to do DanceWorks and Strength in Movement this morning then meet my friend Rebecca for brunch. I need a fun day just to unwind after such a wild week at work.

I am so excited! One of the girls I met during the street outreach on Good Friday contacted us. We give our phone numbers to the women every year, and this is the first woman who has reached out for help. We have started the process of helping her find a job and a place to live so she can get out of that hell on earth motel she is stuck in now. Anna called Emily and shared that she wants to attend our Saturday night worship service. All the other girls on the ministry team are out of town or otherwise occupied tonight, so she will be riding with me. Please pray for me as I will be driving to that part of town alone. God will be with me. When Emily sent me an e-mail last night with Anna’s room number, it dawned on me that this is the girl I met and hugged! She received one of the gift bags that I packed and prayed over! It is possible that she could change her mind before tonight, but I am so excited! I am also thankful to have a church family that will welcome her with open arms and not judge her or look down on her as “less than” because there but for the grace of God go any of us.

I went to the viewing last night for a friend’s father who went to be with Jesus this week. I wore the same top I wore for my church directory photo session, and everyone told me how radiant and beautiful I am in that color, including a man who is a professional photographer. The power of color is amazing. I am a clear spring. I need to wear colors that are clear and bright. Nothing too dark or muted for me. My look is clear and contrasting with porcelain skin, bright blue eyes, and brown hair.

I maintained my weight this week, but my cycle just started. I usually gain 3-5 pounds during PMS week, so I am very excited! I should see a big change next week.

Patti, welcome to the check-in!

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Daily Check-in

Hey all!

I haven't done anything yet today, but if I ever get it in gear I plan on the first 4 int of LM and a segment from CM. I got out early this AM and went to yard sales in my neighborhood. I love looking through all the junk for a possible treasure. I didn't find anything today, but you never know!

So, Wendy, did you do anything fun last night? Dancing perhaps?

Becky, my eating has been weird lately. I've been eating a ton of salads but then DD made brownies and I can't resist them!! They should be outlawed from my house!:(

Vilma, what CM segment do you like the best? I always skip the levitation holds on #1. I just cant do 'em!

Hey Beavs! It's hard for me to attach a first name to you! I was wondering who Patti was before I realized. I guess you are part of the living room gang too?

Tammy, happy to hear that DS made a college choice! I get to start anew in the cycle as DD is taking PSAT's this spring. Here we go again!

Deb, LIC is one of my favs.

Conni, I am so happy for you and DH. Do you have a target date for his release from the hospital? My thoughts are with you.

Annette, congrats on the weight loss :)

I am making a hurried appearance. I am not sure which w/o I will do today but it will be a Cathe and it will be a butt-whooper. I need to start planning rotations rather than rely upon whimsy...and I am very whimsical ;-) I hope to squeeze in an extended workout tomorrow and then Monday will be spent walking around Manhattan for a little day trip.

Jane: have fun with the little snuggly person!

Tammy: the doggie and I are going for a little walk after my workout to enjoy some of that overdue sunshine

Heather: thank you for making me feel welcome. Good luck with everything going on!

Phyllis: Yep, I don't go by Beavs in real life. LOL! I am now part of the basement gang x( Actually, that is ok with me because I won't have any commentators while I work out, except for my SO who is actually quite supportive (a former hockey player who knows about all that good stuff)

To all! Have a great day!!

Heather: Awesome news...be careful tonight!

Becky: My Squeeze DVD came already! So far I'm very impressed with Tracy's customer service. I can't wait to try it!

Tammy - I saw Lora's review of Squeeze and checked out the website. It looks intriguing. Let me know how you like it.

As Cathe says in LIC.... "you're cooked"!! ... and I AM!

GSC&T and GSL back to back...... DOMS by tomorrow afternoon for sure!

Tammy, I can't believe you got that so fast !!!
I can't wait to hear what you think of it.
I was at Walmart today and SOMEHOW I ended up looking at playground balls! I didn't buy one...........yet !:7

I did a 45 min. cycle ride this morning and then CM 3 this evening.
In between I helped DH with a landscape job . I spent every second I could outside , so I am a happy camper! It had to be around 80 degrees today.

Hello to everyone! I know this is late to post, but better late than never !!!:7

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Daily Check-in

Good evening! I had a fun day today. After I enjoyed DanceWorks this morning, Rebecca knocked on my front door. We visited a local farm that grows organic produce, walked at the lake, and went to our friend Jan’s home and took her out to lunch because she has been feeling blue. The three of us split a piece of key lime cheesecake and did not finish the whole serving between us! A few bites of dessert is satisfying to me. I did Strength in Movement this afternoon. I am a morning girl all the way, but I did not have time for both workouts this morning.

A local ob/gyn saw me and Rebecca walking at the lake and stopped riding his bike to commend us for working out together. Both of us are visibly overweight. He really encouraged us and told us that, as a women’s physician, he has seen firsthand how much harder it is for women to shed pounds and even maintain weight in their 30s and beyond due to hormonal issues. He is a member of the club who has seen us jogging in the pool there, and he affirmed that the weight we have already dropped is applaudable no matter how slow progress seems. Rebecca and I were greatly encouraged.

I went to Anna's place tonight before the worship service. A man answered the door and told me that she wandered off earlier today and never returned. I am concerned about her, but he did not act like this was an unusual thing for her to do. I am not sure what her relationship is with this man, but I have been told that he is the one who pays for her room at the motel. I drove around and looked for her thinking that she could not have gone too far on foot, but I did not see her anywhere. This is the woman I met and hugged on Good Friday, so I was really looking forward to seeing her again.

I believe it is a good idea for someone to go with me in the future. I was surprised by all the men in the parking lot at such an early hour. I thought about waiting for Anna to return but did not feel peace about hanging around that part of town on a Saturday night. I definitely did not feel peace about going to the corner where the prostitutes work. I asked the man to tell Anna that I came for her so she will at least know that I did not forget about her.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Daily Check-in

Heather: I'm sorry Anna took off. Hopefully she will reconsider and ask for help again. How wonderful that the doctor encouraged you and Rebecca...again, the power of words...only this time positive.
