Daily Check-in Saturday 3-31

Cathlete
Happy last day of March! I'm off today so, of course, I wake up at 4:15. What else is new?!

Tammy - I found that other code also and downloaded 11/40 (if I'm remembering the #s correctly). It is a steady state and I have plenty of intervals. This will make a nice addition when the rotation calls for a SS run. No, it doesn't compare to Coach Sean but really who would!?:* Regarding the chocolate, I do very well most days. Since I bought it on Tuesday, if it had been laying on the counter all this time, I still wouldn't have touched it. There are certain times during the month (coming up this coming week for me) that I devour anything within reach, especially chocolate, sugars.... bad carbs, so I feel better knowing it is out of reach.

Wendy - nice LB w/o you put together. Even though it wasn't what you planned, I slways say "whatever gets you through it".

Today is LIC and I get as excited over LIC as I do IMAX2! I usually work out on Saturday morning but DD and I are going to spend the day together shopping, etc., so I may wait until this evening to do it especially after that hour long run I did yesterday afternoon.

Conni - where is the best place to order the CIA workouts? I've done some looking around and collage is cheaper than the CIA website by about $5 and the shipping is less also. Where do you get yours?

BTW - I like the looks of All Body Attack.

Good Morning Ladies.

Jane, Have fun shopping with DD. My mom and I shop together often!}( I have one CC. I like it but actually prefer Grace...not because I think she's hotter or anything (LOL!), but because she gives me #'s. I prefer that because I don't use an HRM to know my ranges and if you don't tell me EXACTLY what to do, I get confused! LOL :p

I have a TM run on tap for this morning. I am going to try out my new Itread #9/40 mins. :) It's my last work out for week 11 of the X! I can't believe it! :+

Good Morning right back atcha!

Rest day today and I'm glad as I'm feeling the love from B&G!

Jane, DD made this concoction last night that you would have loved. First, she combined peanut butter and chocolate chips in a bowl. She poured that over rice chex. Somehow, she got some powdered sugar in there. Anyhow, the end product was a bag full of yummy, CHOCOLATELY, munchie stuff. I ate way too much and had a belly ache! I think the recipe is on the back of the chex box.

Wendy, it doesn't seem like 11 weeks for the X. It seems like you've enjoyed it alot. What next?

Tomorrow, I'll finish my March rotation and hopefully figure out what's next for me.

OMG Phyllis! Whatever your DD made lastnight sounds AWESOME!!!!:9 }( :9 }( :9 }( My plan post X is to do a Barry's BootCamp rotation. It's endurance lifting...I need the change!:)

Good morning LAdies;

I got the code for a free download for itrain and now I have itreads 2/40 & 3/40 I did do the 2/40 the other day and all I can say is wow.

I looked into the CC but you need a HRM which I don't have and for the moment I have no intention of picking one up so ITrains workouts will have to do but then again I hear so much about CC I may try it one day.

Today I have ME and may take my youngest the see that new disney movie meet the robinsons later on today .

All this talk over chocolate is making me go buy some - ack!

Hi everyone,

Jane - I had bought mine on the presale for the current series, then the others I get through their website when they have them on sale. Collage is probably your best option right now, until DDD carries them, and sometimes they only carry select titles.
I can't wait for you tell me what you think if All Body Attack.

Today was MM, I am anxious to see what Cathe posts for a April rotation!!!!

Go Buckeyes Final Four!!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!!!

Today I'll be doing CC PP and some ab work.

Jane: Enjoy your day shopping with your DD. I hope you do lots of damage $$$$$$$!:7

Tig: See you on the DreadMill;)

Vilma: The Cardio Coaches are AWESOME:7 and you don't need a HRM for them. Coach Sean uses perceived exertion. If you have been working out for some time now with Cathe, you KNOW your zones.

Conni: I can't wait to see the April rotation either. I hope your NCAA team does it for you.

Phyllis: Enjoy your rest day.

Heather: I hope you are still safe, warm and DRY in your home.

Really?
I went there the other night looking for info and the site says you need a HRM - I was bummed because I don't think I'll use a HRM exclusively although I have looked into them in the past and almost got a Polar one last summer but decided to put my money on our floors instead lol.

Okay I'll keep CC in mind then but it's too bad they don't have a promo like itrains so I can actually do a workout before I invest in any more - as it is I really like ITrains and plan on getting some more this weekend namely that itread 5/40 & 11/40 I hear talked about hear. :) Esp. now that my dd picked up a new ipod nano for herself, I'm putting them in my own little section on her Ipod lol(she works at Cold Stone)after her IPod mini was stolen from school a few weeks back(she's keeping the Ipod at home and got herself a regular no frills mp3 player for riding the school bus).

Which would be a good CC to start with then? I was an Imax 2 junkie and soon will be one again once I get back to where I was at ;)

edited to add:
Question: whats with the arrowhead smilies I see lots of folks here with that attached to their name?

Just finished LIC... I wasn't going to do it until this afternoon but felt good this morning and have been up since 4 so.... I'm glad it's done.

Vilma - Tammy is right, you don't need a HRM for CC. Sean actually encourages you to use the perceived exertion method. The arrowhead smilies are used by the ones who participate in the <----- thread which I used to a while back but that thread is too busy for me... I can't keep up with all the posts.

Conni - thanks for the info. I'll have to stay tuned for presales... will you let me know when they are happening?

Phyllis - now I need to stay away from the cereal aisle and that recipe!!! That sounds right up my alley, crunchy PB chocolate:9 :9 :9

Good morning Tammy and Wendy... and to Deb too when she checks in. Becky - are you still sleeping?! Wouldn't that be nice huh? Somehow I doubt it though!

Hi Everyone!

Last day of March......YAY!!!!

Today is ME for me. I will make every effort to fit it in but today we are painting our bedroom. NOT my favorite job but it needs to be done and we have a rainy weekend.

I downloaded ITread 7/40 and 3/40. Can't wait to try them.
I KNOW I'll miss Sean, but I do love that they give specific intructions.....I like to know the numbers!!!:p

Enjoy your Saturday!:7

Yay! Just finished ME - I completed an entire weeks rotation & March's rotation lol - Now I just need to stay consistant.

I'm going to wait and see what Cathe's April Rotation looks like before I decide which rotation to continue with for April. I may end up doing March's rotation again or go way back into Cathe's old July Rotation from '03 :) not sure yet

Now to see what times the movies are in town :)

You all are really inspiring...I can't wait until all this overtime ends and I can get my workout schedule back where it used to be...

Anyways, it was a quick workout for me this morning...I did a 30 minute light cardio workout, followed by 20 minute upper body workout on the body fusion dvd...I hope to get a section of core max in this evening since I ran out of time this morning!

Heather, I am so glad you made it home ok...sounded very scary...where do you live?

Jane...congrats on the upcoming grandbaby! A tax day baby! And hello? 4:30?!?!?

Hi Wendy, Vilma, Tammy and conni!

Well, work is backed up, so I guess instead of chatting, I should get back to it!

Deb

Becky: Great workout! No one can ever replace Coach Sean for me, but variety is the spice of life!

Vilma: Ditto what Jane said. When I first starting using CC two years ago I didn't have a HRM. In fact I've only been using one for about 6 months. I would say to start with volume #1 because it is the shortest. I still use it! There used to be a code for a free download. I would email customer service and ask them...they are terrific to deal with.

Deb: Good for you for fitting in a workout during tax season!

Cathe posted the April rotation....DIng! Ding! Ding! it looks like a winner. I start tomorrow...who's joining me?

Ok I just saw Cathe's April roatation - I need steady state guided runs - help?

Which of the CC would be good for a 20 minute and 40 minute steady state run?

What about the itrains? I already have 2/40 & 3/40 - I can see I will get addicted to these guided mp3's lol

Vilma - I downloaded 11/40 because it was a steady state run and I'm glad I did, I have a ton of interval work with CC but no solid SS.

The April rotation looks great! I REALLY need to work on my UB strength. I have A LOT of trouble with pushups on the toes. I am more partial to working the LB.

Tammy - I was on the CC website last night and saw there was a #2 revised. I have the #2 original that came in the MegaPak I bought in Nov. I think the only 2 I don't have are the #2 revised and PressPlay. #7 is being produced and hopefully will be released soon. They have a special going on where you buy two and get the third one free, but that won't do me any good. PressPlay isn't eligible for the display since it is a charity. #2 revised looks good but I'm going to hold off. I can feel that Cathe is getting ready to do something soon... she has been pretty absent from the boards.

Had a great day today with DD. I got a new pair of Editors at Express and two really cute shirts.

Off to get some food!

Jane: I contacted customer service via email about the revised volumes #1 and #2 as I had heard that if you had purchased the originals, the revised workouts were avaiable to you for a free download. They confirmed it and gave me a link for the free downloads. Email them!!!!

Vilma: CC's aren't SS workouts, but I have listened to them and just kept a steady pace.

Thanks I ended up buying the iTread 11/40 for SS, as many have stated CC is more intervals - so I now have 3 iTreads lol- these should be enough for now - I'm looking forward to Monday when I start Cathe's April rotation - I already have it printed up right next to my Cathe calender to help keep me motivated and plugging along ;)
