Good Morning Everyone,

I had a quick workout today as I am in training in Waterloo today and tomorrow (pharmacology - addiction counselling).

Today I did 35 minutes of Cathe Live Giant Sets. Whoa. Wish I could have finished it. There's always tomorrow - I hope and pray.

Have a great day everyone.

P.S. It's my daughter in Uni who loves Cathe. I hope she eventually tries out on demand cos I don't need it. I have all of Cathe's DVDS pretty much. She is into Kayla Itsines and Rippedism so we shall see.

Have a great day everyone.

Henriette - I hope you continue to be on the mend. Great you still get workouts in.

See you all tomorrow.

Morning to you Ceci,
:) Have a good & productive day in Waterloo ..sounds like an intense course. Great job on getting in a workout beforehand. I am going to look up Kayla Itsines today.

This morning I did Cathe LIVE Cardio Mish Mosh ( liked it despite the burpees, lol ..LOTS of water needed) plus a series of band chest flies. I am gonna try to keep with Cathe LIVE as long as possible .....when nothing else gets me to work out, Cathe LIVE does. :) They are not hard to modify when needed at all.

Henriette, you are quite the cleaner. Perhaps counting steps will motivate me more often to get the house chores done!! Linda`s newest Barre isn`t her toughest by a long shot, but I really liked & it is a good hip workout I thought.
Everyone have a nice day and I'll be catching up with you all later!!

Hi gals,

Today I did 10 minutes on the stair machine then taught a 60 minute cardio kickbox circuit then I did 30 minutes of weight work including abs and legs.

Still can't please everyone but I keep trying.

Have a great day!

Whoa, long workout session today Annette. I think trying to get in things every workout for everyone is something most instructors struggle with a little bit. You will NEVER please everyone 100%. Try not to let it get to you. :)

Hi ladies,

A little late with my Monday check-in, but the important thing is I did workout.

We have house guests all week as the schools are closed for the Fall break, but I'm still just working. After work I took the wife and kids with me to the bball training where only 4 kids showed up, so I altered the training adding simple drills and games where my guests could join in.

Then after dinner when I wanted to go workout I asked who was ready to train... they all made excuses, but I got the husband of the couple to join me. Yeah! So we did 3 EDT sessions, KB swings & squat/1 arm thrust, Bi's & tri's and an Ab set. Tough workout as usual with EDT, but it also felt great. I hope this will motivate him to start doing some at home when he returns. Today they are gone for a whole day trip and tomorrow we have dinner reservations, so perhaps on Thursday I can convince the wife of the couple to w/o with me.

It ended up being later before we finished our w/o and then I woke up at 01.30 with pain in my left foot, so bad it kept me awake until I took pain medication. At first I couldn't figure out why as I had not strained my foot there. I just looked it up, it's at the cuneiform bone on my left foot. My back toe snapped back when I missed some steps on the stairs maybe 8 years ago and I never got it looked at until about 4 years later and then I discovered there was a piece of bone on top of it, just tiny, but enough to hurt and that's why I no longer wear high heels and have trouble with lunges. Forgive me if I have shared all this before. Anyways, long story short, I realized it was the last 15mins (my ab session), where I alternated 30 seconds plank with standing side bend with dumbbells. So every time I was in plank, I was straining that part of my foot. Oops.

Have a great Tuesday ladies!

Better late than never! I did a 30 min Standing Legs & Abs mix. Henriette, what a cute picture! Looks like you might be busy at work!
