What's your favorite food or foods?

Mine is PIZZA ! I love pizza......actually most all Italian food. Coming in for second place, is a good tossed
or chef salad.

I worked out yesterday - more daily burn - and a long workout too - i needed to work off some of thanksgiving dinner

Today I did more DB - chest/back + a 10 minute weighted cardio workout

Favourite food? I really love raw food. It's labour intense and expensive to buy but I like to make/eat raw cakes, raw mock chicken salad, raw zucchini noodles with various raw sauces etc.. There's even a raw pizza

have a good day everyone. I have to drive my daughter and her friend to ottawa today - raining like cats and dogs, it is.
 
Hi gals,

Today I taught my aerobic dance circuit to 9 ladies for an hour.

Then I did 50 minutes of heavy weight work, still only able to do 115 on the barbell bench press. Tried twice today for 120 and just couldn't do it.[emoji53]

But I did flies, concentration curls, bicep popping exercise hammer, overhead tricep one arm at a time, lat pull down both wide and close grip, and finished with floorwork abs and legs with a stretch.

Can't taste so don't really have a favorite food.

Not sure what happened yesterday... I got kicked out of Tapatalk on my mobile and perhaps when I signed back in it automatically went thru FB or google instead of my Cathe account. Who knows... I have now removed the app and reinstalled it and consciously signed in using my Cathe account so let's see if that helps.

Okay that did not help, so I deleted my post and signed in on the website forum to upload the post instead. I wonder what is going on.

Today I did Xtrain Burnsets Bi's & Tri's. Got a nice burn going in my arms and am happy to notice I can really lift quite a lot heavier than for instance a year ago.

Annette - what do you mean you can't taste? Nothing? Temporarily or...?

My favorite food is Japanese, sushi and sashimi etc so I can't wait until I can eat sushi with raw fish again.

Pizza and a good juicy red steak come in close behind sushi.

I lost both smell and taste 3 years ago due to a bad cold that hubby's boss shared with his co-workers and hubby then shared with me.

I immediately lost 20 pounds. Continued to lose but at a slower pace. Now food is all about texture and how it feels in my mouth.

In the past year I have regained partial smell but even that is not consistent and every day differs as to what if anything I can smell on that given day.

Taste however never came back. The only thing I can detect is a butterscotch hard candy. And because of all of this I now have dry mouth.

Weight loss thus far is 39.25 pounds.

I eat a whole lot less now, no pasta, crackers, cookies, beef, fruit (unless in a smoothie which I can now tolerate in my mouth,yea!!), limited veggies, basically anything drying is out unless I have lots of water. I can do seafood, poultry, anything with multiple textures ie..pizza. Most bread is ok. Soft things are good,like muffins or cake/donuts. But again nothing has any flavor or taste.

Thus is my life now.

I agree Henriette, bout says it all!

Oh, Annette, I am sorry for your condition, that is just plain terrible! Maybe taste will return :), one can hope!
 
My workout for this evening will be a blender mix of warmups with a barbell, if I get to it....I ended up doing
Two more short workouts last night :) ,an upper body one and a legs/abs one too. So that was quite enough for
Yesterday..... I gave up my gym membership last month, I was only keeping it because of the pool, but I wasn't
Going much...there's another gym here that has a pool, not as nice as the wellness center, but they used to offer
Just a pool pass, so I might check to see if they still do that....and they did not allow kids in the pool.
 
Hi everyone. Annette, that happened to my father! He eventually got his sense of smell back, taste took longer and he lost weight too. So odd. I hope yours is temporary as well. Henriette I'm glad you're back! Sometimes technology really messes with us. I'm dealing with storage issues and iCloud stuff. I just don't understand it all. Linda....swimming too. Man you're putting me to shame with all your activity!! I'm following Heather Land now so I get a new video every few days or so. I love her facial expressions and eye rolls! Elsie I hope you get some sleep. Honestly that's making me mad now. Come stay with me, bring hubby. We have a spare room for you.

Favorite food? That's tough! I love Italian, sushi, awesome creative salads, fresh fruit, dessert. Yes, especially dessert.

Today's workout was Cathe Live #33- legs. I was quivering!!
 
Hey ladies, great workouts!! I did manage 4.5 hrs of shut eye during the day, but still not feeling great. My to-do list is now a if-I-ever-get-to-it list. I did get in some stretching with the ball. Still sore from Mike D anyway.

Be careful what you invite!! ;) I do not think we are roommate material any longer!! People get set in their ways!! Yes, Peg, every Cathe Live Legs is killer right?! From what I recall.
Oh, Annette ....that is terrible. My Dad has asthma and multiple allergies with a similar no tasting thing going on ...it makes him oversalt his food.

Fave food? I love cooking classic bistro French type of vegetarian dishes. I also love curries and cannot live without them! Oh, and Vietnamese. Honestly, what don't I like? lol.

Hahaa, Henriette ....that's funny! I don't know how folks on very low carb do it. If I do not get enough fiber from grains etc., my brain stops working!!
