Good Morning Everyone,

I posted my workout for yesterday - this morning.

Henriette - wow - you have had bad house guests. I packed up the kids stuff and dropped it at his mom's door. She is out of town. He spent the entire weekend at the A&W. I went by many times to say - you can't stay with me but you can stay the night and have a shower. He refused. I offered to take him to shelters, the out of the cold etc. He refused. I gave him $60 and bought him some food. Told him I called the social worker and resource teacher at his new alternative school and they want to see him monday to help get him housing. he said he would go. stubborn kid. He admitted his regrets but would not budge. My kids told me he always says he's stubborn. at least he isn't hanging downtown. just in a quiet mall in the west end walking distance from home. what a kid. no wonder he wouldn't change. it was very stressful

Linda - I wish i could do some cardio

Elsie - go for the 7 days! my coworker bought one month and it's been a year now. I am the same with Daily Burn. I love DB

That said - ladies, I trained on reiki yesterday with a not so great teacher. did it with my 16 year old DD.

Okay - i am about to workout.

Hi Ladies,

I did another short 30 minute workout of Cathe's STS Chest/biceps. Slept in etc...

Have a wonderful day and great workouts.

Hey Ceci, excellent workout this morning! You early bird! ;) You are so kind and VERY patient to be looking out for this boy. Your daughter must appreciate you!! We were all wondering how things went. I hope the resource teacher will get through to him & direct him to appropriate resources. Think he might have a mental illness?
Yes, DB does look really good. I have done a couple that were up on youtube & thought it was quality. Yes, Peg, when I did have On Demand for a couple of months, I think I spent more time creating than doing at times. It's so much fun! I like creating a lot of weights routines cause I require a lot more time for active stretching in between sets than Cathe, so I use those breaks quite often. I've been sick the past couple of days, so have not worked out or anything. DH & I are also not getting along over this living situation from hell. Anyway .....
QOTD: What one body/beauty item is nearly always in your bathroom/cosmetic bag etc?
For me, it's my Ylang Ylang Blossom hydrosol which I use on my face & sometimes on my legs after I shave. It's marvelous.

Have a peaceful day!

Good Morning ladies! Siobahn, it sounds like you went above and beyond to try to help this young man. I'm certain you've done more for him than most would. What's up w/ his mother? I wonder if he's burned EVERY bridge and has no family or friends left willing to put up w/ his behavior.

Elsie, I'm so sorry for your troubles. Outside stress can wreak havoc on a marriage. Add to that the lack of sleep and defenses are down. Hopefully this will end soon for you. Is the construction almost done? I'm still tempted by the 7 day free trial but I'm afraid I'll enjoy it too much and ignore everything else. For you, you could put some stretching segments in between other segments, right?

Yesterday I tried a workout...didn't like it on my lower back, tried something else and decided I was tired. Oh well. Today I did Cathe's Cardio supersets w/ the bonus step. Love that one!

QOTD- that's a loaded question as I have a strong need for many toiletries. I think if I had to pick one it would be my Retinol face cream.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I'll check back later.

Hi girls, my go to would be my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue makeup. I guess you would call it a makeup, it's a Tinted gel...I have used Bare Minerals for years, I used to use the "Swirl, Tap, & Buff " loose powder, but
Started using the Complexion Rescue and love it. Also, their PrimeTime face primer.

Hi ladies,

Today I taught my 2nd Interval workout to 10 ladies[emoji16]! By the end we were all hurting puppies, I had trouble finishing the last interval of squat jumps[emoji44]. And the 2 minutes of low impact after was grounded squats,[emoji44][emoji44], oh my!! That workout was 62 minutes.

After that one of my ladies handed me a $50 iTunes card to help with buying music for future workouts.[emoji4]

I then did about 45 minutes of weight work including one rep at 125 on the barbell chest press.

I am taking Wednesday and Friday off with my class's blessing. Hubby is off all week.

Can't even think straight right now, we are on our own for Thanksgiving this year so I need to bake and cook and go back to Wal-Mart, sigh.

Have a great day and workout!![emoji16]

Hello everybody. I am just dropping in. I've been recovering for the past almost 2 weeks. The surgery was a success. The doctor was very happy. Me not so much. I have never had such pain, and I've had 3 kids and a hysterectomy. But that is subsiding. Thank God.

I can't work out until I see the doctor. I even asked about upper body weights. He say no way. I've been good. I'm allowed to walk, and I do that. I reset my Fitbit to 1000 steps and have been adding them when I feel ready. So I'm up to 3000 now. I know that doesn't seem like a lot.

Hope you have all been well. I haven't read any old posts yet. Hope you all have a blessed holiday!

Hi Everyone,

Re: question of the day - my staple is coconut oil. I use it exclusively for face and body cream and to remove make up. I can't live without it. I don't use any other face or body creams. I used to but at the end of the day - i never noticed a difference.

Missy - sorry you have to take it easy - such a drag but great you are on the mend!
Elsie - big hugs to you about your situation. I hope things mend for you too!

Missy!! Thanks for dropping in to let us know how things have been going ....we have been wondering how your surgery had went. Hooray for being the strong and resilient woman that you are. ((Be well)) and ((heal gently)) during this time of recovery and letting others do the heavy lifting for a bit! Listen to your doctor, lol, & keep us updated.
Annette, great job on another tough and successful class! Hope your baking goes well. I would have thought 'on your own' would mean less work?
Oh, Peg, I LOVE the bonus step on that DVD ...probably a fave workout for me. Glad you found something to gel with. That happens to me as well. As for the overnight construction & drilling, they have been granted another "temporary" noise variance that goes 'till March 2018, so I do not see things getting better. It went through council "without debate" (democracy?) I'd always considered temporary to mean 3-4 nights cause it cannot be done during daytime hours. Well, not around here I guess. DH and I do not always have the perfect union, although, to be perfectly honest we do get along well and spend a lot of time together so this isn't like us. We don't really fight but yes, you're right, this physical stress is a lot to take on. Neither one of us want AGAIN to move and we don't have the money for it, but this situation isn't tolerable. Anyway, that's that I suppose. Thanks for your support. Oh, what retinol cream are you currently using?
Linda, I like using a primer in the summertime! There are so many nice primers and CC Creams nowadays, you hardly need much make-up!
Ceci, yes, I have used coconut oil (usually mixed with hemp oil) to take off eye make-up. Honestly, nothing is better (or cheaper!!)

Henriette, hope you have been well. : )

Hey girls, later check-in...I did do a short Jessica walk this evening, I did end up doing a toning workout last night after all, Nothing on tv, so I said what the hey!

Elsie, I am so sorry about your situation and the stress involved. I hope & pray somehow things will get better for
You and hubby.:). I think about you often.....

Missy, good to hear from you, and glad you are on the mend and feeling a little better, just take it easy, and you will
Be back on track before you know it!

Annette, that was so nice of your lady in class to give such a gift! They truly must love you and your class.
It's so nice of you too to take the time off to be with your hubby....enjoy your time off together...

Good job on your workouts Ceci and Peg!

I'm kind of sad, I knew my ex hasn't been doing well for quite sometime, and his sister called me a few weeks ago,
At his request to tell me that his time might be very short. Last night when I was walking Coco, he came driving
By, we live in the same neighborhood, and he stopped.. he can hardly talk, he had to write most everything, but
Said that his doctor has maybe given him to the end of the year....it breaks my heart, despite everything, he
Made his decision to be with someone else, but I don't think "the grass has been greener on the other side"
We were married for 30 years so practically half of my life was spent with him. Anyway, I told him I loved him,
Not meaning any disrespect for his current wife (who was the other part of our breakup) and to let me know if I could do anything...that's about all I can do, given the situation I guess..
Anyway, it's sad..... sorry to ramble on :)
