Hi Everyone,

Today I did Cathe's Lite pyramid pump for biceps and shoulders. I also did a 30 minute youtube pilates workout. My lower back is bothering me again so I just can't spin or do lower body workouts without a lot of rest in between. ugh.

Yesterday I did Cathe's live upper body training - the recent one. It was really good - that said, all of her lives are really good.

Holiday here today so I am not working. yeah. Have a great day everyone.
 
Happy Monday everyone! No workouts for me on the weekends. I have permanent disc damage in my lower back. I blew out some discs when I was a fitness instructor 16 years ago. So, I rest and stretch on the weekends. Today was Kelly Coffey Meyer Lean Body Circuits - premix HiLo and Upper Body. Modified for low impact of course. I liked it. Time flew by.
 
Hi ladies ,

Been sick all day yesterday and through the night. Still weak today. Bloated, headache, runny nose, weakness and no appetite.

Lost another 1.5 pounds so can't complain to much. I just have appointments this week that I don't need canceled.

So rest day again today.

ddsadie, I am a fitness instructor now. But have only been doing it 4 years, started later.
 
Annette, I hope you feel better soon!! Sounds miserable.

I taught classes for eleven years. I was even the Director of Fitness at our local club for a short time. That job was awful. I have to say, I enjoy home fitness so much more. It helps to know how to modify everything for whatever condition my back is in on any given day. What classes do you teach?

I teach a Silver and Fit class and my own Sweat with Annette classes which is a variety of Kickboxing, Circuits, some that are Cardio only which can be regular aerobics or maybe with a dance flavor. I also created a Moderate Impact Interval routine. Most of my ladies are seniors so everything is modifiable to moderate, low or no impact. Nothing is high impact but I have a couple of ladies who can run circles around me. I am trying to drop older adults from my descriptions so I can get more people , but my time frame really isn't conducive for that but it might indice some people.

I put together all my workouts and music. My son burns my CDs. Variety is the name of the game in my class, you never know what you are going to get.
 
No Lisa, no fever, no problem breathing really just feels like the regular flu if it even is a flu.
