Good morning ladies,

Hope this finds everyone & everything ok. Great workouts for the weekend Siobhan & Annette!

Annette, hope everything goes good with your upcoming surgery. Prayers & good positive thoughts coming your way!

No workouts for me this weekend, my knee "seems" to feel better in the last couple days and while it's hard as heck not
to workout, especially when you feel a little better, I think I'm gonna give it a couple more days and not challenge it.....
I will probably stick with upper body/abs only for awhile anyway.....

Nora, hope you are doing ok, I believe you had posted that you had a dr's appt Friday, if it was this past Friday, I hope
all went well.

Have a good day everyone! We are supposed to get several storms today......
 
Good Monday Morning Everyone,

Today I did a mish mosh of: 2.0 legs bonus for 15 minutes, Cathe Live express cardio (thx Linda) for 25 minutes and added on Intensity PUB for bi's and shoulders (I only do one move not two). All in all it was a solid 50 minutes. Now, to stretch. And....... today's my burssday. I am a healthy 57 years old!!!

Linda - I know what you mean about needing to take it easy but feeling ok to exercise.
Nora - I hope all went well on Friday for you
Annette - nice little workout you got in yesterday

I have the day off and am gonna do whatever the heck I feel like doing. Have a great day everyone.

Linda- Yes I had a doctor's appointment Friday. Regarding my injury to my chest area he said no weights this week as well and start back next week slow half of what I've been doing (Which is STS 2.0). I had DB
hit the side of my chest area which scared me because it hurt long after the workout. I have an upcoming Mammo and they make me nervous especially after a biopsy on the other side a few years ago.
So I am paranoid and cautious. If things don't continue to keep feeling better(which they are) to see the doctor. So I'm praying for continued healing on bothsides and for my Sept. Mammo to be begnin, no disease or problems.
Glad to hear your knee is feeling better, and you want to keep taking it a rest on lower body weights, and just do upper body. There is band work as a safe non weighted exercise option. No matter what you take care and do what is right for you.;) Take it easy and feel better.;)

Hi ladies,

My day so far: woke up around 9 to like 7 messages on my medical portal telling me all the lab work I need to get done. So I printed them out and since I was fasting decided to get the bloodwork done .

So I drove to the closest lab, I had decided to schedule the chest xray for tomorrow along with the EKG.

I get there (at 10:30) and they can't do the one test unless I wait around for 2 + hours. Sigh, so since I was fasting I drove to the main lab . I managed to get the chest xray rescheduled for today so I wouldn't have to make 2 trips, then I went to the lab and had my blood drawn. After the lab, I found the EKG office and got it done, so I managed to get all my pre op labs done on the same day.

I left the medical center at 12 and was home by 12:30.

I still need to get a call from the pre op people with further instructions.

So I did 9 minutes of a kickboxing and then a 26 minutes Taebo off YouTube. So I did something. It is hot in the house.
