Good Morning Ladies!

I finally appear to be DOMS free this morning so I must work on creating MORE!}(

I have my running class this evening but intend to do some Cathe cardio this morning...probably kickboxing.
The class just is not intense enough cardio for me yet-mostly walking and not even that fast....

Hope everyone survives the day today!

Anyone have or take the day off?? :)
 
Good Morning Wendy (I see you're up early!) and all who follow,

Yesterday was stationary bike and pyramid u/b......today I'll do abs and maybe try to sneak in a walk.

DH took the day off to make it a 4 day weekend and we are having a brunch at our house today. We'll still cookout tomorrow, but my DD and her family (hubby, stepson and new baby) are doing the cookout thing with her dh's family, so we decided to do something different and have them over for a brunch. LOTS of unhealthy breakfast foods being served here today, :eek: (biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage, bacon , coffeecake to name some) so I'm making sure to also make a huge fruit salad and that's mostly what I'll have. Might have to enjoy a homemade waffle though too.;-)

Wendy - Enjoy your "double" cardio day!

Becky - Boy, did you make me hungry...enjoy!

I couldn't get any "official" workouts in over the weekend. We were at a horse show Saturday (started the day at 5am and got home around 9pm)...I guess all the walking counts a little. Sunday was just a long day at work and I couldn't handle trying to workout last night as I was still completely drained from the day before.

Today I'm going to try to make up for some lost time. I'll start with Supersets and Step Blast this morning. If my day goes as planned I'll probably throw KPC in tonight.

Everyone enjoy the long holiday and happy workouts!

Wendy, I wish I had the day off!! It's kind of strange with the holiday on a Tues. BTW, I love your pics!

I decided to ditch the last week of Cathe's June rotation. I just didn't enjoy it and I wasn't seeing any results.

Today, I started following FitnessFreaks one body part a day rotation. I'm mixing up the order as I worked chest yesterday. So, today for me was PUB back, MM back and CTX 10-10-10.

Good morning fitness folks...

I got back from the horse show yesterday, had a good time. Friday I did BodyMax before I left, Saturday morning I did a 5K run on the hotel treadmill, and yesterday I took a rest day.

Today is Step Fit which I will have to "fit" in somewhere. DH has a follow up dr's appt this morning and we have some errands to run and then a cookout at my son and DIL's house about 1. It is going to be a hot one today!

Hope everybody is having a great holiday. I know I am, I don't go back to work until Wednesday!

Hi Tammy! Have fun with Imax! Imaxes are off my list for a while as my knee has been bothering me and Imaxes tend to bother it more!

Have fun today Jane at your cookout! It's HOT here too today! Hope it is tomorrow too! I'm having 35 family members over for the 4th/going away cookout for DH. So hopefully it'll be rainfree and everyone will be able to enjoy the pool!

I decided to do the Body Blast rotation since I have all the workouts and they won't aggrivate my knee too much. So it's SJP for me right about now.

Good day all. I'm happy to report I actually finished a workout last night, Seasun's Straight Up Step. I had hoped to include a coremax segment, but was just too sweaty to think about laying on the cat-fur covered floor.

Wendy, I thought maybe you would be fitter than most of your running class, but hopefully you will pick up some pointers about form, etc.

Becky, I love brunch! My DH and I had a morning wedding so we could have a bruch for the reception.

Tammy, we should have switched. The movie was good, but I would have loved a clam bake.

Wendi, whoa, 3 workouts in one day? Take it easy, girl

Phyllis, good luck with the rotation.

Jane, have fun at the cookout. We may have a small, family one tomarrow.

Kali, I know how you feel about doing a rotation because you own all of the workouts. That's one reason I don't do rotations - I hate to substitute.

Today calls for something circuity. I'm thinking I'll probably pull out bootcamp. Have a nice extended weekend, all who are off. And don't work to hard, those of you who, like me, are working.
 
Morning all -
Yesterday was Imax followed by a day at the USAG Women's Open. We're only a couple hours from Newport and DH desperately wanted to go so we did. I would have preferred just walking downtown, but DH enjoyed the golf and he was just so tickled last night that we got to go. Too cute.

Today I did PushPull. I want to start a formal rotation, but haven't decided whether to do one that's already written or make one up based on the workouts I have. So far I haven't seen any rotation where I have all the workouts, but the thought of writing my own seems daunting. I'll probably keep winging it for the next few weeks while I figure it out.

Looks like I'm one of the few who is actually working today. Tomorrow we've got a cookout at a friend's. Today is inventory.

Morning ladies. This morning was GS Chest and Tri's followed by a 20 minute interval run and then a 10 minute steady state run. Those interval runs just kick my butt! My goal is to someday be able to match Cathe in all her weights on GS C&T. I can match her weight in pretty much every workout of hers, except that one. I also vow to someday do ALL the pushups on my toes at the beginning. Right now I can only get through the first 2 sets on my toes and the rest on my knees, so I have a lot of work ahead of me!

Hi all,

I had a few unexpected rest days. This morning was MM with HSC abs instead.

I am in for a quiet 4th. My soon to be 12yr old is at Boy Scout camp and my DH will be going there every night, I don't work.
So, it is just me and my 5 year old. He has my whole day planned for me.:) Swimming,biking and probably the trampoline.FUN,FUN,FUN!!!

Hi all,

I did Billy's Cardio Bootcamp with ankle weights and weighted gloves today and probably lost a ton sweating myself to death.

I seem to be taking the weekends off these days but that is ok.

I go back to the foot doctor on Friday for a recheck of my heel, I think that I am going to need a cortisone shot it still hurts really bad if I don't take my anti-inflammatory.

Hello everyone.
I am so not motivated this morning to work out. I am hoping I will read all of the threads and get some motivation. I had a TERRIBLE eating weekend. We went to a great concert over the weekend. It is a grammy award winning gospel/christian group called Take6 and they were fantastic. I forgot how much I enjoy going to concerts.

Anyway, I am going to run 5 miles today and GS back. Have a great day everyone and warm wished to all of you and your families.

Did a golf course walk early this morning - 6AM. Have done 235 push-ups so far, and WILL do 165 more to bring the day's total to 400. Then if it doesn't rain, I'll mow the lawn in about an hour (4:42PM now).

BLECH...no work out today. I had NO motivation! x(

I still have my running class to go to in about 30 mins though so atleast that is SOMETHING, right? ;)
 
Okay, so I ran out of steam and can't muster up the energy to tackle IMAX 1. I'll do that one tomorrow morning before work. While gym mom and Elaine had to work today I have to go in tomorrow. Holidays for the clients mean workdays for me. Oh, well...

I just finished Imax2 intervals 6-10, C&W abs only, and then some Namaste Yoga. That was a first on that yoga, and I actually loved it. Tonight it was triangle poses and various warriors. I think this is something I will continue to do often!
