Hi gals,

Today I taught my aerobic dance circuit to 8 ladies [emoji3], that is the most I think I have had ever. This included 2 new ladies, whoohooo!!

I did 10 minutes on the stair machine before I taught my class, then after I did 40 minutes of weight work including abs and legs and I bench pressed 135 pounds for a good 3 reps, 4th one wasn't quite there. Whooohoooo for me![emoji3]

Then I came home and have been working on the disco circuit workout that I hope to have together for Friday's class. So 45 minutes or so of tinkering with it.

You're a busy girl Annette! Good for you! Today I did Cathe Live #121- Step, Jump & Pump? I think. It was 55 min of Cathe fun. Just what I needed. Cathe's article about "fitness after 50" hit home w/ me. I've been getting frustrated and down on myself for not being able to do what I used to do. Seems I DO need more rest time, which is completely foreign to me. In the past year I've actually taken "rest" days where I do something very light. Now I can allow myself to embrace it. I'm still having a hard time "embracing" the jiggly bits though!! Have a great day/evening everyone!!
 
Ok I did about 20 minutes more of work on the new routine. Got about half of it worked out, I'll do the rest tomorrow. I am done now, whew!!

Did 30 minutes of Susan Zieger's Stepping Up. I'm working on combo 2. I suppose I'm pretty clutzy because it's taking me a long time. I did 30 minutes of Cathe....the mix I made of party step and Step Moves. Plus 10 pushups
 
Great workouts & teachings today ladies. :) tlc, I am a big believer in adequate rest and recuperation for the body & mind!! I get better results (especially in body shaping/muscle) when I take more rest or spend more time on fascial release etc. I did read a couple of snippets of Cathe's articles/lastest blog last night before bed .....I will have a further look!
Today, I just spent about 35 minutes doing mobility work and some pelvic floor exercises. Speaking of recovery, I guess! lol.

Alternating between short step segments and weight segments. Good little workout. Cold again here.

Hi ladies,

I didn't manage a w/o Monday. I was at the office for less than 2 hours when the school called saying my son was at the nurse's office feeling sick and wanting to go home. Fortunately once home with him after a long commute, train, bike and finally car, he went off to bed and I continued working until quite late. My stomach is also not feeling gr8, so I think we may both have whatever it is that is going around, so I took it easy at night.

Now it's Tuesday morning and my son is still in bed with a tummy ache and I am wrapped up in a blanket working and nursing my poor tummy, so perhaps no w/o again today. [emoji25][emoji25][emoji25]
 
Hi Everyone,

I was sooooooooooooo busy yesterday that I forgot to check in. I did my own WB of PUB + cross fire intervals again. gosh i love these two workouts. Sorry you weren't feeling so well Henriette. I hope you feel better today. And whoa! we all checked in yesterday. amazing!
