Henriette, I hope you and your family will soon be feeling better ! I am so sorry you all have been sick.. :(

Missy, we are having nicer weather this week too, I think, after the small ice, sleet, snow event we had Sat.
evening & night. Raining here this morning, but it's in the low 40's so not too bad.

Peg, Kelly's Your Best Body is mostly weight work, but the "rests" in between the muscle group sets, are
standing core work and the premixes on this one are great. One premix has "active cardio rests" which
are short cardio blasts instead of the core and one just has the core, plus some other neat premixes.
On this dvd, too, is a bonus yoga stretch about 8-10 min long. I haven't tried that, as I'm not much on
yoga !
 
Hi ladies,

I mentioned the idea of an all seated aerobic circuit workout to the class and they looked at me and said 'why?'. I said for variety. So we'll see.

So I taught my Silver and Fit class to 12 ladies and 1 gentleman for an hour, then did my first custom workout for 65 minutes to 14 ladies in the 2nd class.

I am tired and my back is hurting again, sigh[emoji52].

Back again, off today, (holiday:) )
Annette, sorry about your back, my knee is feeling a little weak again, which is coming from my hip, per Mr.
Chiropractor.

Today I finished another rotation, 3 shorter workouts, total about an hour, but no boredom, for sure!
I did Cathe blender LIS Compound weights workout, then a DVD mix of cardio step from KCM's Cardio Blast,
And finished up with a 10 min. Weight Watchers indoor walk.
 
Hey Annette, I went on YouTube and searched "chair aerobics". There are a lot of workouts on there. Maybe you
Have already looked, but maybe you could get some ideas from them. Just a thought! :)
 
Yea, I got lots of ideas. Leading to the idea of even attempting a whole workout. Problem is these members are set in their ways and just having a new instructor is change enough for most of them. Throwing in an all different workout might be too much for me to ask[emoji44].

Guess none have looked at my workout folder and seen all of my regular class versions.

I am going ahead and cutting the CD, we'll see how it goes when I first debut it.

Hi ladies! Annette it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. A group that’s set in their ways....yikes. I say shake it up! Go for it.

Linda you are a professional enabler!! I looked at Your best body from Kelly. It might turn out to be something I need! She is hit or miss with me. But with more aches and pains and fatigue more often, I need something less intense than Cathe and Yvette right now. Hhmmm.

Henriette how is everyone feeling? I think the stomach bug is making another appearance. We just get over one thing then get hit with something else. Blah. Hope you’re all on the mend.

Are we all falling apart? I was foam rolling my glutes today.
 
Hi ladies,

Nice to see you all getting workouts in. I really want to workout, but this time I am really sick so it is definitely not an option.

Monday 4 out of 6 people were sick in this house. We took Mick to the doctor and with him having eaten so little, like a 6th of his usual amount for two days the doctor was amazed there were no signs of dehydration. Monday he started eating a bit, but still only around half of his usual amount. Fortunately he is still alert and happy and does not seemed bothered by his illness unlike the rest of us who are in a lot of pain.
