Good morning fit ladies!!

Tammy - I am sooo glad mom is doing better. Never doubt the power of prayer! I believe your mom is living proof of that! I'm doing a happy dance in your (and her) honor this morning! I was so glad to read she is on the road to recovery

Today is a 30 minute brisk walk. I may actually get outside and walk today. I'm needing some light therapy. The weather has been cold here (29 last night) but has been in the 50's during the day and we are heading to 78 this weekend, back to summer! Spring in the Carolinas... gotta love it!

Today is MIS for me. I haven't done that one in a long time.

We were in the 30's Sat., 40's yesterday and 50's today. I hope this pattern continues!}(

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be GS B/S/B. My SIL is having her scheduled C-Section @ 10 AM, so as soon as I get to the hospital I'll stop by labor and delivery first.

Jane: Enjoy your brisk walk. I'll tell my Mom that you did a happy dance in her honor today:7 It is still very cold here.

Phyllis: BM2 does rock! I'll know what the baby is in just a few short hours!

Becky: At least your temps are going in the right direction!

Heather: What a fabulous shopping trip! All I bought yesterday was a new vacuum cleaner and some face moisturizer:(

I did MIS upperbody and Connie I forgot how good it was.

I didn't want to do barbell leg and back work so I did the
floorwork and stability ball abs from Butts & Guts...my first time ever!
I LOVED IT! I feel very worked out!

I do my workouts at night so tonight will be Bootcamp. Havent done that one in a while.
All this talk about MIS! that was my very first cathe weight workout! It is a toughie!

Tammy- glad to hear your mom is doing better!

Wendy- Wow final phase of p90x. How is it going? I really liked that program. Just finished up last month. Although I did slack off at the end a bit. I really liked what it did for my upper body but did not notice too much difference on the lower half.

Heather-Congrats on the new suit! I always have a tough time with that! I have a pretty small chest and it is hard to hide that in a swim suit unless you go with heavy padding and then when you get out of the pool you have to squish it all out inconspicuously!

They are calling for 60's Friday here, Yay, I like to walk at lunchtime at work so I will definitely be scheduling that in on Friday.

Connie- what kind of workout is twirl?

Hi Lori,

Twirl is a hi/lo aerobic workout, about 66 minutes total from warm up to cool down. Very complex and you can up the intensity ( like I do ) by subbing hi impact moves during the marching sections where Marcus is adding on to the combos. You can get a nice intense workout that is so much fun, and his personality is one of the best I have encountered!

Hey Jane, we are thinking of a summer family vacation in your lovely state. Give me some ideas of where to go and what to do. We usually go to the Jersey shore, but we need a change. Friends of ours know someone who has a place..... I don't know exactly where or anything. Tell me some stuff that only a rsident would know. Thanks.
