Good morning fit ladies....

I am walking this morning and that's a miracle after the time I had with Butts and Guts yesterday but the day is young!

Today is Cardio Fusion... and yes, Tammy, it slays me every time too. That is one wicked cardio workout!

Phyllis and Annette - I hope y'all are feeling better today.

Kim (I'm with you on Cardio Fusion today!)

Becky, Conni, Wendy, Heather, and everybody I may have forgotten... hope you have a fabulous day and workout

Morning ladies.

Jane, I'm much better today, thanks. PH is done. I had to put down my weights a couple of times - I guess I lost a little strength.

I had a suprise this morning. My kitties were lurking around my closet. When I opened the door, I was greeted with http://bestsmileys.com/scared/8.gif[/img] ! We tend to get visitors when it gets cold outside!

Hi earlybirds!

Got a few minutes before I head to work, so I thought I would check things out here early.

Today was BC. Good workout but I just hate Icebreakers!!!}(

Phyllis - not to worry about PH. That one really seems to give me a true summary of how I am feeling that day. I really swing back and forth over what I can do with that one!

Heather - I am PMing you this morning when I get in to the office!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today is IM#3...NOT my favorite IMax:( I think I'm getting a chest cold....yuck!!!! It is freezing here today....-21 with the wind chill....brrrrrrr.

Jane: Good luck with CF.

Phyllis: ROTFLMAO! I hope the kitties catch the unwanted guest.

Tig: Hope you had a great weekend.

Conni: Icebreakers are one of the few things I like about BC....LOL.

Becky: I hope your shoveling days are over.

Kim: CF for you today...good luck!

Annette: I hope you are feeling better.

Heather: Happy Monday!

Good Morning!

Jane, Enjoy CF today. You mean B&G gave you DOMS!? Noooooo, that work out NEVER gives ANYONE DOMS!;)ROTFLMAO!:7 :7 :7

Phyllis, Sorry about the mouse. Hope you get catch him quick!

Connie, I actually like the icebreakers in BC!

Tammy, IM#3 isn't my fave imax either. I think #2 wins in the popularity contest hands down. I prefer 3 over the original though. Hopefully the chest cold that is lurking won't amount to much.

I have Chest, Shoulders & Triceps/ARX on tap for today.

Does everyone have to work today? DH has off. He is going up to his mom's to help his dad with stuff around the house. I have to work-I forgot to request the day off-and then I'll be heading up north to pick up Joey this afternoon...hopefully AFTER my work out.

Good Morning !

Wow, is everyone here early today?

DH is off today and still sleeping so I'm getting a slow start I guess.

I LOVED CC yesterday! OMG! I only did #1 and did it powerwalking on the TM but really , really loved it. I can't wait to try the rest.
Today I might try another one on the stationary bike. I probably won't get the luxury of doing whatever workout is on the rotation since DD & DH are home and I have to take over the living room with my step and weights.......so I'll just be flexible and do a CC instead.

Today hopefully is the last day of shoveling. We'll get out there and try to get the remaining ICE off since the temps are going to make it up into the low 30's FINALLY and we might get some melting.
Right now it's 6 degrees! brrrr;(

Phyllis, I'm glad you're finally feeling better.

Have a good one everybody!:D

You guys are just crazy!}(

I have no issues at all with the Terminators, they have never been a big deal to me...

But I still can't stand the icebreakers!!!:+

Maybe its' all the snow we have here, anything with the name "ice" in it provokes anger!}(

Tammy and Jane, I am feeling better, still have a stuffy nose at times but I did manage a good workout today. Thanks for asking, makes me feel loved!!

I did the Fat Blasting Cardio (taebo) workout today with weighted gloves. Managed the whole workout too which felt good. We have nothing but ice here so I have stayed in so as to not get sick again. My middle son got the same cold this weekend and missed tennis on Saturday. He will make it up tonight.

Have a great day!!:7

Hey I like the ice breakers too! I do not like the terminators!!

I just finished Cardio Fusion. 687 calories burnt to a crisp. I was sweating like crazy in a 68 degree house. I despise that power turning in the BM2 circuits though! But overall that is one great workout! The endorphins are flowing!

Another terminator hater here....oh no, they are in my future tomorrow!!!

Jane: Awesome job! I just can't get grough CF lately.

Annette: Good workout! I hope you and your DS feel better soon. We have a virus going through our house too....yuck!

Becky: YAY! You liked CC!!!!! :7 BUT, how could anyone NOT like Coach Sean....*sigh*!

I only managed to get through interval 7 of IM#3. I did my best through the first five intervals, but in intervals 6 and 7 I was just going through the motions so I FF'd to the cool down and stretch. Not one of my better workout days.

BUT, tomorrow is another day!

Tammy - yep, tomorrow is another day... that's what we do, when we have an off day, we are back the next day for more. Getting through to interval #7 on IMAX3 would probably kill a normal person... (you know we aren't the norm!;) )... you did good, my friend.:)

Tammy , Way to go on what you completed. That's still a killer workout!}(

I didn't get to do another CC today :)( ) just too busy , but I'm gonna count the time spent getting ice off the 2 driveways we did.
I went ahead of DH and scraped it all (inches thick!) and he shoveled it off. I figured that took care of cardio & weights just fine for the day!

It got up into the mid FORTIES today and surprised us all.....it feels like SPRING compared to what we've had for the past month. If it stays nice, maybe one day this week I'll walk OUTSIDE with Sean.;-)

Hey everyone! I hear that it's going to be 51 on Thurs! It's almost swimming weather!!

Annette, where does your son play tennis? My son is a tennis fanatic. He is a Sr and has played all 4 yrs on the tennis team. It took me a long time to understand the scorekeeping. I have to be reminded with every tennis season.

Okay, I just finished CF. It was definitely difficult but maybe not quite as hard as I expected. I think MIC and some of the IMAXs are harder cardio wise. I'm sure soaked in sweat though.

I'm definitely another Terminator hater, I don't mind the icebreakers.
Wendy-what does ARX stand for:?
I'm glad that all of you that are frozen under are getting some melting soon. I'm so looking forward to spring time. Hope you're not getting sick Tammy! Kim

Becky and Jane: Thanks for the kind words...yup! normal we ain't...LOL!

Phyllis: It has got to be WAY warmer than 51 for me to swim! I think our high this week will be in the 30's....x(

Kim: GREAT JOB with CF! :7 I find MIC, IM#1 and IM#2 quite doable and FUN!!! (IM#3 is an entirely different story). I'm fighting some kind of chest crud....blech!

Daily Check-in

I have victoriously walked through the first 50 days of 2007 with only a few small stumbles! This was a good Monday. My Bible study lesson this morning was on obedience. Ouch! My rebellious spirit is having a fit over this one. I bounced on my rebounder this morning and kept my eating clean all day today.

I ate a snack after work, took a 10-minute nap, and decided that I wanted to do Interval Max for the first time in almost a year. I usually prefer dancy choreography, but I was mentally tired tonight. I wanted to work my body and rest my mind. I completed all 10 intervals and really enjoyed myself. I love the music. The tropical island song is my favorite. The softer instrumental music fits this workout. The simplicity of the choreography is good for a refreshing change. The blasts kicked my butt. I did several of the super high impact ones on my rebounder. I am so pleased that I got through this workout at night. I did have to take a quick break to change into my high impact sports bra. I have only done this workout twice before, but I will definitely add it to my rotation more often now that I know how much fun it can be. IMAX2 is still my favorite, and IMAX3 is still the most challenging.

I am ready to relax in a warm bubble bath and wrap up this day. I am discovering that my body needs around 7 hours of sleep a night when I am training hard, so I will ultimately need to start getting to bed by 9:00 p.m. If I can start getting to bed early enough to get back on track with morning workouts, I may do a Hardcore Series rotation in March to wrap up my first 12-week rotation of the year followed by a recovery week. I am actually looking forward to enjoying my favorite FIRM, Kari, and Christi workouts for a week. After 12 weeks of Cathe, my body should be ready for a break!

Wow! We had some tough cardio workouts going on today!

Phyllis, your posts are making me laugh out loud this week! Did your cats have fun today? :7

Conni, I love icebreakers. I hate terminators. Are you volunteering to do our terminators for us? ;-)

Tammy, I love the IMAX3 choreography. The blasts are actually fun on a rebounder! I confess that I have only done the premixes and have never attempted the whole workout at once! Sleep tight and get well!

Blessings,
Heather B.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV).

Phyllis, my son has played tennis for about 4 years now coming up in May. He is 12 and a half and absolutely loves it. He plays at the Tennis Club near where we live in PA.

Their website is www.tennisclubofpa.com if you want to check them out.

They have a very good junior program that my son is in, he is a natural.

Your son sounds very good also, is he looking for a tennis scholarship to college? That may be a very good option for him to pursue.:7
