I am doing GS Back, Shoulders and Bicep's, then a 4 or 5 mile run. Might even squeeze in a workout later this afternoon....enjoy the workouts...:)...Carole
 
Hey Dutchie, sorry to hear you're not well. I am home sick myself today. But I took some Tylenol Cold and am feeling not so bad right now. Maybe I'll be able to squeak out some Legs & Glutes and 25 minutes of cardio later on in the day....we'll see how it goes.

I am surprised to find that I am not as sore as I was anticipating on being after doing High Step Challenge yesterday and Kickmax the day before....whew, at least I can walk;-)!! I am going to attempt IMAX3 today.

Dutchie, get lots of rest and hope you feel better soon...yes I really like that new picture as well:)

Carole, I haven't done any of the Gym Styles yet, let me know how you like back, shoulders and bicep!!

Sandra, are you still playing hostess with the mostess for your parents? How are you feeling these days??

I previewed Low Max last night while walking on the treadmill. I will be doing that one tonight. It looks like a great w/o.

Dutchie, loved your description of the race, and take care of yourself today.

Carole, I upped the weights on PS L&A to 50#, but I think if I go any higher I will have to do the weight belt. I can lift the 50# over my head, but any higher and it will be difficult. What exactly do you do for that. I think I remember you saying that you use a weight belt and added weights to that?

It's CTX Power Circuit for me tonight.

HC was waiting for me when I got in to work this this morning. I have to check my email confirmation when I get home though coz I know I wanted to order Strethmax and I didn't get it. I only got Lowmax. I don't know where the mistake was made. I didn't get charged for it tho so that leads me to believe that it was my mistake when ordering. Worst case scenario I'll just order it tonight. No biggie...

Hi Laurie Mac! I bought a nice weightlifting belt years ago. What I do is wrap an ankle weight around it to increase the weight amount. I have alot of ankle weights! I think in PS you get to rest your shoulders more than in PLB, thats when I really get tired shoulders from lifting the barbell. Hope this helps...:)...Carole
 
Morning all! Happy Valentine's Day! This morning was SB and then I will be doing CTX biceps, triceps, chest and abs tonight. Yesterday I did SJP for the first time in it's entirity. Boy oh boy was that a GREAT workout! I think I now have a new favorite. Sandra, I completely agree with you 100% that the SB/SJP DVD is the best one. What a gem! I don't know how I ever survived without it.

Great idea about the weight belt....why had I never thought of that?:eek: ? Thinking I could only squat what I could lift overhead!

That nasty cold is really getting around!

Today is a gym circuit: 12 reps x 3 circuits of 8 full body exercies along with 25 minutes cardio intervals.

This morning I did the step only of IMAX3. I'm not brave enough yet to attempt the full workout, definitely have to work my way up on this one. Some of the combos were tricky, I think I'll do this premix a couple of times before doing the whole workout.:9
 
Good Morning -

Yesterday I did the cardio step only of Imax 3 and Low Max - I am looking forward to do them in their entirity - but knew that I was not up to it yesterday. The cardio is defineltly more complex on IMAX3 and I did actually rewind a time or two. But it is fun for sure....

Tonight will be one of the Gym Styles - I will choose based on which muscle group is least sore tonight - after MM on Saturday.

Hi ladies--happy V day. This morning I did the upper body split premix of C&W. I'm still a little shaky and I finished it more than 4 hours ago!

Today I will be very happy when I get home to my HC series! Tomorrow will be Kickmax!

This morning was Muscle Max. I only did the timesaver premix and I think that next time I will have to get myself out of bed a little earlier and do the whole thing! I did not feel that worked out and I think that I need to up my weights a bit. Of course I wasn't lifting as much as Cathe!! I don't think I will ever be able to use 20# on pec flies!
Congratulations to all those who finally got their Hard Cores!!!
 
Hi Ladies,

Sorry to here that some of you are sick.

I did Muscle Max upper body premix. I was going to add on the upper body premix of the new circuit workout, but the Muscle Max premix was relatively challenging and enough for today. If I did more I probably would have been late for work... I was a little late starting today. I'm previewing IMAX3 tonight so I can do it tomorrow and see what everyone is talking about.

Today was CTX UBS. I haven't had a rest day because Friday I get my wisdom teeth pulled, and I don't know how long I'll be down. So I am ready to have this done! My body needs a rest! Isn't that goofy? I am looking forward to getting my teeth pulled, so I can take a break.

I am so happy for this news,Mariángeles- finally you have the HC series-I know you're reviewing just now -enjoy them-and please,let me know your opinions about these workouts and also the music,etc. (I also can say that I am very jealous because I still haven't mine but hope to receive them tomorrow. But it's a secret).

This morning I did SH Legs,CTX Step&Intervals and 20 min of Quick Fix Pilates ABs.

Oh,I think I never don't forgot these though days after receiveing my HC DVDs.

Good morning!

This morning I did Step Jam and PUB (no planks or pikes, though). Step Jam is still such a classic workout. I don't think it will ever feel old and tired. I previewed GymStyle Chest & Triceps last night, and decided that I just didn't have it in me to do that kind of split workout this week. Maybe I'll wait until Cathe posts her rotation before doing the GS workouts. Like SH, they appear to be time-hogs (but probably extremely effective!!).

Sandy - yes, the parents are still here. They leave tomorrow afternoon. It's been a very good visit. You've been cooking with gas, holy smokes!! KickMax, High Step Challenge, and IMAX3, on consecutive days? Wow!! I'm feeling eh-eh these days. I've discovered the secret to keeping the nausea at bay: stuff myself silly. As long as I have something in my stomach at all times, I feel okay. Unfortunately, this is not good for controlling my weight gain! Oh well - it's for a good cause, right? :)

Mariángeles - I'm so excited that you got your new workouts!!! That was awfully fast, considering that Cathe only received them herself 10 days ago!! I look forward to hearing what you think about KickMax.

Dutchie - I loved your race description yesterday! I almost felt like I was there with you! Excellent run!! And your son must be very proud of himself!

Katie - Yes, I can't imagine my workout collection *not* including the SB/SJP dvd! It's so versatile, and fun! Let me know what workout combos you like the best, and maybe I'll give them a whirl, too! I haven't tried all those premixes, yet!

Sandra...Oh I'm glad you are having a very good visit with your parents; must be really nice since you don't really get to see them that often!! Yeah tell me about it I can't believe it myself...whatever I'm on I hope it sticks around for a very long time, lol}( !! I actually meant to only preview HSC but before I knew it, I was smack in the middle of it! SOOO much fun I tell you!!

Katie I second that feeling! I don't really know what I would do without this dvd, the SB/SJP are really some of Cathe's finest work!!!
