Good morning fitness buddies....

Almost to the end of January, it'll be summer before we know it (I WISH).... 19 degrees here this morning!!! I know you guys in the north are colder but geez... I'm in NC! I don't like it this cold!

Today is a 50 minute run with Coach Sean. I'll also do a stretch segment from TBS. I'm adding a 20 min run I missed last week to the 30 min run today.

After today I'm finished with the January rotation. Great job Phyllis, Tammy, and Conni.... we did it!:7

Good morning everyone.

I rested yesterday. Today I did CTX step and intervals. I did the chestwork 1st. I followed it with the step work, doing the intervals twice. It felt so easy compared to CF! I'll fill in the rest of Jan with misc. I wonder what Cathe has in store for us? What are you ladies thinking of focusing on next month? I think I need more cardio and lower body.

Good Morning Jane, Phyllis and all who follow.

Today I begin my first recovery week of the X w/Yoga X. Wish me luck!;)

Have a great day!:)

Good morning Phyllis... I think anything seems like a walk in the park after CF!! I'll wait and see that Cathe comes up with. I really hope she posts it tomorrow since I start my week on Wed!

Good morning Wendy!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I'm doing C/B and Abs today.

Jane: I'm not overly fond of the cold weather either...brrrr.

Phyllis: I'm also waiting on the February rotaton.

Tig: Happy Yoga Day...Ohmmmmmmmmm!

Heather: Another great post last nite. Oh yes, I am all too familiar with Cabot cheeses:9. Keep up the hard work, your posts are intuitive and inspiring.

Conni: YAY! We all finished the Jan rotation.

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Good Morning Ladies!

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

It's 11 degrees in Ohio and I don't like it either !x(

Saturday I had a good walk with DH at the golf course - I LOVE when it closes for the winter !!;-)

Yesterday ended up being an unplanned rest day AND a day that I splurged on complete comfort food and got chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes and turnip greens at Cracker Barrel ! mmmmmmm :9

So today I'm getting back on track. Going to have some hot cereal with flaxseed and fruit and then workout. I'm thinking I MIGHT try something like Cardio and weights but as yet, I'm undecided.

Will check back after my workout.

Have a good day everyone!!

Hi everyone,

So what are we doing this week? I like to hope, but I doubt that Cathe will post her rotation before Wednesday night. I did Donna Read Step, Pump and Power today, nice change!

I was really bad Saturday night, we went to Friday's and I ate some of those wonderful and sinful fried green beans with the wasabi dipping sauce, and I also ate some ribs and fries. Really bad!!!
I just don't do that!

I am now in recovery mode, and I think I am back on track.

Have a good Monday ( Becky, I am with you, it was 11 degrees at my house today too!)

I did Cardio & weights compound weights premix, which was 35 minutes , mostly cardio. I don't think I'd ever done that premix before and it had much less weights than I imagined, but that's okay.
It was HUGE for me to do a step tape because it's been so long since I have !
I also did abs.:D
I'll just make sure I hit the weights tomorrow.;-)

Hi all,

I did the Fat Blasting Cardio (taebo) with weighted gloves and actually did the whole workout, I didn't wanna but I did. sigh.

I don't know what is the matter with me lately, I just don't want to work out much and it takes me forever to decide what to do when I do. And I still have no desire to do weights. I am in a slump:( .

Thanks for listening.:)

I just finished a 50 min TM interval run. I was going to do a CC but my IPOD was DEAD! It is charging as we speak. I chose a program on the TM (haven't used any of the programs yet). I set 6 mph for my target speed. The inclines were variable and once it went to 15% with the speed on 6 mph!!  That incline came down manually real fast!!! Good workout but I sure did miss Coach Sean's voice in my ear... I bet I could have tackled that 15% incline at 6 mph if he'd been whispering in my ear!;-)

Jane: I am 100% SURE of that;) ;) ;) !

Daily Check-in

This was a great workout day. I am still flying high tonight! After my quiet time, I warmed up on my own then did the first combination and Latin cool-down from Power Max plus the cardio and power circuits from Power Circuit for a fantastic cardio workout. Power Circuit is a great leg workout too, and I wrapped it up with Leaner Legs in its entirety. Well, I confess that I skipped the third set of leg presses! My legs were on fire. I am falling in love with these CTX Series cardio workouts. I am craving a CTX Series rotation, which I may do after I finish this 8-week rotation. I had such a good time this morning. Power Max is not my favorite Cathe workout as produced, but it is a lot of fun when I start with my own warm-up and the first combination (which is my favorite) followed by the dancy Latin cool-down. I love the ponies with party arms! That part of the choreography makes me smile. The cardio segment of Power Circuit is another one of my happy workouts. I adore the triples and turns. I love the kickboxing step circuits too. Can you tell that I am enamored with the CTX Series? I am a hi-lo lover, and Cathe includes plenty fun hi-lo moves in this series. I love her choreography and teaching style in these workouts.

This was another clean eating day and a busy day at work. I was tired by the end of the day, so I bounced on my rebounder instead of driving to the club tonight. Rebecca is under the weather, and I did not want to go by myself tonight.

My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow, and I am ready for another great workout. I need to start winding down for the night.

Jane, I am with you. Southern girls do not like cold weather!

Phyllis, I love Step and Intervals!

Wendy, enjoy your recovery week.

Tammy, thank you for the encouragement. I hope I get to meet you someday. We can share some Cabot cheese! :9

Conni, I hope you stay warm this week. I am sure you can find some workouts in your collection to keep you entertained until Cathe posts her next rotation. ;)

Becky, I love Cracker Barrel. Yummy! :9 I responded to your question about the light box last week. If you did not see my response, let me know.

Annette, I am praying for you. It may just be a case of the winter blues. I hope you feel better soon.

Blessings,
Heather B.
